My eyes met with Prince Ryan and I saw he was staring right back at me still holding me firmly

Did he really want to take me on a date or is Mela playing tricks with me?

Like prince Ryan asking me for a date? How? Just how?

If it’s true then I happen to be among the luckiest girl on Earth.

A lot of ladies will be envious of me gosh!

Aren’t I the luckiest already? First he kissed me, he touched me, he took me on his shoulder into my room and now a date.

My heart fluttered remembering we’ve been in the same position for five minutes.

I quickly released myself from his hold standing in embarrassment.

Thank goodness none of the princesses are here.

I could have turned more red than I am now.

He cleared his throat while I looked down. What’s going on in his head ?

I thought he was going to say something but he was just staring blankly at me.

Oh wait! Don’t tell me we are going to stand here till forever!

I can’t just walk away you know and he’s not talking, my feet is beginning to hurt.

” Uhhm Alyssa please look up ” he said raising up my chin to look at him.

His hand that touched me brought goosebumps to my body.

I jolted from everything that is going on in my head when he stepped closer to me.

My eyes focused staring at his hazel eyes and everything at that time flew away.

I am sure he’s hearing my heart thundering very fast due to how close he is to me.

Huh? Aly? Is that my new nickname? Although it sounds so unique coming from his mouth.

Wait, did he say something? I didn’t hear anything ! I didn’t know he even spoke lord! Where was my mind?

” Alyssa?” He called raising an eyebrow at me.

He chuckled before shaking his head! He chuckled at me for the very first time! Even his chuckled looks adorably cute.

Humph! I didn’t hear him well right? You know sometimes it’s difficult to hear when your mind is occupied.

He just said asked me that freaking questions, OhMigod! OhMigod!

I hope the smoke coming from my head isn’t visible.

All I wish to is to scream my lungs out but everyone will see me as a mad person.

He stared at me patiently waiting for my answer.

” Would you?” He asked huskily! Is he trying to seduce me with his voice or what?

I bit my lower lip and nodded!

You don’t wish to know how I am happily screaming inside my head!

” Y. Yeah ”

” Really?” He beamed. Humph!

” Yeah, I will just go change ” I replied stepping back but he held my wrist stopping me from walking further

With the way I turned red due to the compliment, I am sure I will be very sweet if I am yo be used as tomato.

We sat down at the reservation I got on our way in a fancy restaurant.

I just had to play along with Melanie because this will benefit me a lot. That girl is a smart ass! I guess I will reward her later.

But it baffles me alot as to how she decieved both of us. That little girl!

I will use this medium to confess my love to her, going straight to the point will do.

There will be no point in us dating right? I know her enough that I should and I am sure she knows me well too.

That’s what dating is all about. I will ask her to marry me !

I know it might sound too soon but I can’t wait any longer.

Maybe you should know this little secret, since the very day I met her, I bought an engagement ring in proposing to her thinking it was gonna be easy giving it’s try.

I haven’t dated before and I don’t believe in courtship whatever!

All my family members love her and that’s what that matters.

Can you believe Dad called me yesterday telling me he was gonna arrange a marriage for both Alyssa and I?

Dad has never liked any lady like he love her, not even Zoey!

One thing I am afraid of is turning me down, what if she doesn’t like me?

” You like it here?” I asked glancing at her while she nodded.

” This place is so beautiful but I think everything here will be very expensive ” she replied with a frown which made me chuckle.

How can someone frown and still look beautiful?

And she’s bothered about things being expensive? Every other lady will jump on this kinda opportunity and eat to their satisfaction not thinking of waging the guy’s pocket.

But here this angel in front of me is complaining, isn’t she unique? Her type is just so rare.

” You don’t have to worry about a thing Alyssa, I brought you here remember?” I should raising my eyebrows. She nodded bowing her head.

” What’s your order my prince and princess?” The waitress asked handing us the menus

” Uhhm, I will go for caramel pecan brownies ” Alyssa said.

” And you my prince?”

” Same ”

” Your order will be ready in twenty minutes ” she bowed and left.

I quickly texted someone on my phone and put it back into my pocket.

It’s gonna be a surprise and I hope it spice up things but not destroy it for me.

This is my first time taking a lady on a date, where do I start from now? We can’t continue staying in this awkward silent.

” How were you able to convince your uncle into forgiving my parents?” I asked trying to start a conversation with her.

I learnt about it earlier from Scarlett of course! She’s the palace media, radio and newscaster.

I watch as her face dissolved into a coily smile . She shrugged her shoulders raising up her head.

Is there anything I don’t love about this Lady?

” I didn’t do anything much, I only pleaded with him and used other magics that worked perfectly ” she replied shrugging again.

I stared admiringly at her, she’s not just beautiful but also smart! Very smart and intelligent!

” You will sure be my personal adviser and counselor when we eventually gets marr….”

I paused coughing slightly! What the hell was I about to say?

” Sorry, are you okay?” She asked with concern while I nodded looking away.

I just hope she doesn’t get the idea of what I was about saying.

” Y…yeah ”

Perfect! Our food arrived at that moment and we began eating! Phew! A sweet escape.
