Location: Boston, USA.

The trip to Elswort cancer and rehabilitation center was rossy. The road was smoothly tarred, giving tires cheerful roll. Half into the journey, Letty slept off. It wasn’t her tradition to keep wake while on a long journey. It was quite embarrassing, her lips were slightly parted. Nathan looked at her cute nose, thin lips and beautiful oval ebony face. He smiled, touching her lips with his index finger and thumb. The swerving of the car made the sleeping beauty lean her head on his shoulder. His gentle touch made Letty snap out of her nap. Her face went pale, realising a trail of spittle almost rallied down her jaw. Did he acually touch her or was it part of her dream? She raised her head gently. Nathan was still smiling albeit he’d shifted his gaze.

Letty smiled as she recollected her ordeal in the bus. Silly! She shouldn’t have slept! She however admired the fact that she slept atleast it made her feel is shoulder. Their accommodation was convinient. The rows of bed was enough for all and sundry. Some ladies were fast asleep while a good fraction of them were playing with phones.

Letty missed her mum, its been month of sundays since they last talked.

She searched for heq phone, it was then it dawned on her she hadn’t open Nathan’s parcel.

She reached for her brown handbag, retrieved the parcel and unwrapped it. Waoh! Iphone 6! A better version of the one she’d used.

She inserted her simcard carefully. The lady cracked her Knuckles while waiting for the device to boot.

Two minutes flew by, the device was in shape.

She’d slided her contacts to the contacts with letter ‘N’ as initial. She’d saved her mum’s digits as ‘Nne’ (mother). The lady was astonished to see ‘Nathan’ just above ‘Nne’ she’d never saved any such contact. It was saved in phone memory. It cost great effort to resist dailing the number.

the second day was the busiest. All participants had diverse activities.

The centre in affiliation to the state police had a rehab center for teenagers involved in various degrees of juvenile deliquences. Nathan and Letty were assigned to teach them.
