Episode 21

Klarissa’s POV

I watched as Lily took off her ripped t-shirt and tights, revealing her plain white underwear and bra beneath.

I looked away, not wanting her to catch me watching her.

She quickly slid the yellow silk mini dress over her body, and turned around to face me.

I was blushing, from seeing so much of her flesh, and from seeing her in that dress again.

“Are you sure it won’t be too much for a school event?” She asked, looking in the mirror.

“I’m sure,” I said.

“It looks really, really good,”

She blushed. “Thank you. Although, it was you who picked it out. So maybe I should be thanking you,” She smiled.

Now it was my turn to get into my outfit. We had both agreed on wearing the outfits we had picked for each other to the school social.

Lily played with my selection of jewellery while I got dressed. I was absolutely in love with the outfit she had chosen for me.

“Hey Lily, can you do up my crop top?” I asked.

“Sure,” She said, coming behind me to clip it together.

I was left tingling where her fingers had brushed against my skin.

“You look so good,” she said, running her eyes down my body.

“Thank you,” I blushed.

“You did so well picking out this outfit for me, I love it,”

“I have no taste in fashion, so I’m proud of myself,” she said, smiling.

“Now, I don’t think we need to do too much with your hair,” I said, running my fingers through her long, soft hair as she sat at my dresser.

“It’s naturally wavy, which is gorgeous. I wish I had hair like yours,” I said.

She grinned, “It gets annoying,”

“It’s so thick. So I might just pull the top half up,” I said, grabbing an elastic band and tying some of her hair into a ponytail.

“And I’ll pop this scrunchie around it,” I said, grabbing my yellow silk scrunchie and tying it into her hair.

“You look really cute,” I said, and she smiled at me in the mirror.

I quickly brushed my hair, and left it out.

“Do you want some make up?” I asked. I hardly did make up on myself, but I knew how to do it well enough.

“I don’t really mind,” she replied.

“You don’t need it anyway,” I said, smiling at her.

———

Mum dropped us off at the hall; me, Lily, Karly and Kalvin.

I hooked my arm through Lily’s as we walked into the hall, paying at the door for entry.

We were automatically overcome with the sound of loud music and people talking. Lily pressed closer to me as we wove our way through the crowd, finding a small table to sit at.

“Wow. This is crazy,” Lily said, removing her arm from mine. She looked around.

Our school was huge, and there were already at least one-hundred and fifty people in here. People all around were dressed in gorgeous outfits, either eating, dancing, or chatting.

Balloons in our school colours; green and blue, were all around the place. It was like a big party. A DJ was on a stage, playing loud music.

“It’s going to be a good night,” I said, smiling.
