The years went by so quickly, Benita was growing into a fine young lady, and the baby sister was growing too, she never allowed Anita to lack anything, there was nothing her mate had that she cried for that Benita wouldn’t give, she loved her sister to the latter, since she didn’t go to school and she has been on the street for so some years she has come to learn that the road to success start from education and she wore Anita must go to school, after she finish begging, she goes to sell pure water, sometimes fruit to save money for her sister school fees.

Life wasn’t easy with her one could tell by just a look, yet she was determine to work to the last, everyone loved her, who wouldn’t love someone like Benita? She’s everything they call “too good” while Anita was the opposite of her sister she was always coursing trouble for her sister, she was a handful, and she’s never satisfy with anything, every time she complain about their situation and why would their parents allow them to suffer this much, not even for once grateful that God gave her an angel for a sister.

The year came and gone Anita started going to school, she was very smart, in fact to smart for her age, the head mistress and teachers were always impress in her performance that they kept giving her double promotion, to them they were encourage her to keep the good work but to Benita it was a punishment, it was really difficult paying her primary education and now they are pushing her to fast, but she didn’t want to discourage her sister so she add up to her hustle.

After she had finish hawking one Saturday evening and was returning home with her sister, she saw a sign post that said “house help urgently needed” she was supper excited, she faced her sister and said.

BENITA: If I could just get this job, you won’t be suffering again Ani (that’s how she calls her)

ANITA: (with scorn) who will accept you in this kind of house? Please don’t allow anyone to embarrass us here, look at you, see how dirty and smelling you are and you are looking a job, this post isn’t meant for us let’s go please.

Benita was hurt but she smiled “saying why should I be hurt by what my own child said” it’s a word from a child she thought and they left. She wasn’t going to give up, she was going to come back for that job, she would take her bath and wear her best to get the job and believing God was with her she went home and took her bath change into her best.
