(FAST FORWARD)

Three years later, Anita was already through with school, since she did her school in the state their was no need for NYSC she return back to nigeria, back to her michael, but this time she wasn’t disturbing him any more, she acted like the past was behind her and benita and michael was thankful to God for that. Benita had her wish, she wanted a baby girl God gave her what she wanted, her husband also got what he wanted, he needed twins and sure he got it, a boy and a girl, they were now three years, Victor and Victoria, michael wanted to give his children names like scot, rivers, crazy crazy name but benita refused telling her children were children of God as such they should bear a good name, he love his wife to much to fight with her over a name, so they name them just as the wife wanted.

Some month later after Anita’s return nothing was going well in the family anymore, michael became a total different person, he doesn’t come home early, sometimes when his favorite children try to play with him, he scold the and chase them away, benita has been noticing the changes in her husband but she thought it was always stress from work, sometimes she would try to make him relax, but it will all end of to nagging and insult, there was this day she got tired, tired of the way he treated their kids, she challenge him and told him it wasn’t fair with the way he treat the kids, he should stop, else she was going to report to Mr jameson about it, michael got so furious that he beat the living hell out of her “how dare she talk to him like that” someone who he pity and marry, that poor thing that could not even look him in the face then now has mouth to talk to him anyhow. Benita was hurt, in all there three years in marriage, it was the first time he would lay his hand on her, the pain she felt on her body couldn’t be compare to the one she felt in her heart. His word tore her heart to pieces, she wish her old husband would return back to her and her kids. Anita was always there to advise her wrongly “you have enough money, why not divorce him and go with else where and start a life” sometimes I thank God I wasn’t the one who married a wife beater. Benita understood her sister she was indirectly mocking her, but marriage to her is for better for worse, not better for best, no matter what this man does to her, she wasn’t going to leave, she is an over comer and God will help she and kids.
