Episode 7

Later that evening, michael and Anita return from their walk, dinner was already serve, michael went inside and took his bath before he came out to have his dinner, Anita sat with him on the dining table, benita asked her to leave the place but she would have non of it.

MICHAEL: Let her be Benny, this table is big besides we are one family aren’t?

BENITA: Sir it’s not our place to sit and eat with you.

MICHAEL: I insist Benny, let her eat

BENITA: Alright sir (she dish his food and walked out)

MICHAEL: Where are you going? You ain’t joining us?

BENITA: No sir, I rather eat in my room.

MICHAEL: Are you sure you will be okay there?

BENITA: I will, thank you sir.

Later that evening michael sat in the living room, to watch some news before going inside, Anita was with him through out, he felt uncomfortable around her but it was obvious that she wasn’t going to leave his sight. After dinner benita went inside to sleep, she hasn’t fully recovered from the stress of last night.

Around 11pm michael left for her room leaving Anita alone in the living room.

MICHAEL: I’m going in to sleep now, so turn off the tv when you going to bed ok?

ANITA: Sit a little bit na, please?

MICHAEL: I can’t Ani, I’m feeling very weak and my eyes are closing on me, let’s talk tomorrow ok?

ANITA: Ok, goodnight. (she kissed his cheeks) and ran upstairs, michael just stood there like a statute wondering how a little girl like this could be so unpredictable and naughty, he shook his head and went inside to sleep.

The next day Anita received call from school that they were starting exams, she was so angry, “why now that I have met this find guy” she screamed on the phone, Let the exams pass, I won’t write it, I need to be around him” the caller told her something that made her to change her mind. “Ok fine see you in an hours time and you better pray your plan work, else I will kill you myself” she hung up and ran to michael’s room.

ANITA: Good morning michael, (with no respect)

MICHAEL: Morning little one, how was your night?

ANITA: (she frown) I’m an adult michael.

MICHAEL: (he chuckle) ok sorry adult? So what’s up?

ANITA: I came to tell you I’m leaving for school, we have exams.

MICHAEL: Oh so when are you leaving?

ANITA: In an hours time.
