Cristine’s Pov:

My jaw dropped…..

It was James my ex husband,,,,,

He was holding a knife in his hand.

“Oh my God! Somebody help…..!!” I flinched in fear.

He kept the knife down and smiled at me mischievously.

“Am not going to harm you” He said in a calm voice.

I gulped nervously with my heart still racing.

“You? You planned this with Sofie?” I asked anxiously still staying far away from him.

He sat on the bed beside me and I shifted away too.

He tried touching my hair but I gave out a loud scream.

“Don’t you dare lay a finger on me” I snapped

“I just love you too much Cristine” He said as he quickly got up backing me.

“How could you do this to me? For crying out loud today is my wedding day” I cried bitterly

“A wedding I don’t want to happen” He said in a hoarse voice.

I gulped hard.

“You left me James… You abandoned me and made away with my money and here you are proclaiming undying love” I scoffed

“I was just foolish and…” He said

“I don’t want you anymore James… Am getting married to the love of my life please just let me go” I cried

“The earlier you realize that we are the one for each other,,,,, the better for you Cristine!” He said sternly and walked away locking the door tight.

Tears welled down my cheeks as I stared at the ceiling helplessly.

I hope I get out of here soon….

Sofie’s Pov:

I smoked deeply and balls of smoke gushed out of my mouth.

I gulped down the glass of whiskey.

As James walked in with a gloomy face.

“Am so happy James… Let’s go merry” I said happily

“Did you just say merry? Are you being serious Sofie?” James sighed

I scoffed…

“What do you mean?” I furrowed my eyebrows.

He threw a newspaper on me.

“Check that out!” He said as I picked up the newspaper and flipped the pages.

I saw the heading and laughed.

“You are being wanted everywhere by the police and you want to merry” He sneered

“I don’t care right now… What’s important right now is that I have that flirt in my custody” I said

James turned around angrily.

“Enough! Don’t you dare refer to her as a flirt” He said as I rolled my eyes.

“Whatever! Isn’t this what you wanted too? To stop the wedding am I right?” I asked as he shook his head.

“She’s hurt” He replied and I scoffed.

“Should that bother me?” I snapped

“That’s because she’s not your Andrew” He said as I chuckled.

“I don’t care! I just want those two to be separated forever” I said

James sat heavily on the couch disturbed.

Dani’s Pov:

I wailed uncontrollably as I sat on the bare ground.

Some of my friends consoled me but I was so uncontrollable.

What has my friend done to deserve all this?

Why is love being so cruel to her?

Why can’t they let her be happy….?

“Oh my dear friend! How is she going to cope with all these?” I cried

“You have to calm down… She will be fine” they tried consoling me.

I couldn’t bear it….

I know how much my friend prepared for this day and now this…..

That Sofie is such a monster.

I continued weeping.

Andrew’s Pov:

“What the heck are you talking about officer? This is two days since my bride was kidnapped” I half yelled at the officer

“Calm down Mr Andrew! This haven’t been easy for everyone of us either” The inspector said.

“Dammit!” I yelled as I kicked the stool angrily.

“You should do your job!” I said annoyed

“We are trying our best” He snapped

“Your best is not enough….” I said almost at the same time.

“We assure you Mr Andrew… Your wife will be found in no time” He said

I sighed loudly as I backed them pacing around.

I really need to get my Cristine back.

That’s the most important thing for me to do right now!

Suddenly,,, my cell phone rang aloud and I picked it up.

It was an unknown number.

“Hello… Who’s this?” I asked in the meanest voice.

“Hello…. An… Andy…. Babe” The voice said tiredly.

“Crisy???” I cahlled out in surprise…..
