Read Story: SEASON 1 EPISODE 4

Cristine’s Pov:

My jaw dropped as he stood boldly in front of me with a charming smile.

I blinked my eyes continuously to make sure I wasn’t dreaming.

“What are you doing here?” I growled at him.

“Uhmm… It’s Andrew have you forgotten so soon?” He said grinning.

I felt like slapping his face so hard.

“I said what are you doing in my house?” I screamed but he chuckled

“You know letting your visitor in is very important” He replied as I scratched my hair trying to control myself

I gnash my teeth as I left the door open and walked back into the house and he followed.

I guess that’s my own way of letting visitor in.

“Are you stalking me?” I asked fiercely backing him.

He chuckled to my hearing and that angered me but I swallowed my anger

“Nope! Am just being friendly” He said

Haven’t I told you to stay away from me? I wanted to say but I held myself.

“I don’t keep friends” I said in the calmest voice.

“OK! Maybe you have just not seen that friend you want to keep” He said.

I gulped….

I just hate his guts so much.

“What do you want Mr Andrew?” I asked in a formal tone of voice.

He giggled

“Can I sit?” He asked with a grin.

I folded my palms in annoyance.

This is the most annoying person in the world I swear.

“Yeah!” I said coldly

“That’s good….” He said as he sat down.

“So now what is it that you want?” I asked anxiously

“Don’t you think it will be more polite if you try sitting down too?” He asked

“Oh shut up already! What’s your business if I choose to stand” I yelled out since I couldn’t hold myself anymore.

“Well cos I don’t want the pretty lady in front of me to suffer from leg pain because of me” He said as I gulped.

“You know I can sue you for trespassing Mr Andrew?” I said meanly

“Yes but you just let me in and gave me a seat so how am I trespassing when you let me in yourself?” He said as I breathed heavily and sat down shooting him a deadly glare.

His face beamed with smiles as I eyed him angrily.

“What is it then?” I asked

“I just came to see that beautiful face of yours” He said as I sighed loudly.

“Do you have a reason for coming here at all?” I asked furiously

“Yeah! And to return this” He said as he brought out my wrist watch and card.

“Oh my God!” I covered my mouth with my palms as I let out a smile.

I quickly hugged him excitedly.

“Thank you so much! I’ve been looking for this” I said still in his arms

I suddenly kept mute and quickly disengaged the hug.

I scratched my head and looked away.

“Am sorry! I was just too excited” I said as he only smiled.

“It’s OK! And you’re welcome” He said as he pecked my forehead.

Before I could say a word, he already stood up and walked towards the door.

He smiled at me warmly before leaving.

I stood at a place still shocked.

I walked to the window.

And from there, I saw his car speed out of the compound.

I smiled broadly.

The truth is… I don’t even know why am smiling ☺

“Very stubborn dude” I said as I walked to the dinning.

Dani’s Pov:

“Are you serious?” I squeaked in excitement.

Cristine rolled her eyes as she picked up the chips from the bowl and ate giving it a crunching sound.

“What’s so exciting about this Daniella?” She said coldly.

“He’s so kind Crisy! You and I know how expensive that wrist watch is?” I said

“Daniella can we please stop talking about that Andrew guy and talk about something else may be work” Cristine said as my face countenance changed

“Work? Duh! I don’t want to talk about walk…. It’s a Saturday girlfriend and we are in your house not at the office” I said

“Yeah! But you know I need to work on some documents like that of Mr Wong” Cristine said

“And we agreed since am here…. Don’t go anywhere close to your laptop” I said as she sighed loudly.

“So what now?” She cried out

“Why don’t we go shopping or….” I said as she shook her head in disagreement

“No way! We ain’t going shopping… I don’t want to meet any other pest there!” She snapped as we shared a laugh.

“Then let’s watch movies and play games” I suggested as she jumped in excitement.

“No cheating Cristine!” I said as she burst into laughter.

“You’re scared because you always lose” She said as I rolled my eyes.

“Silly!” I hit her playfully.

As we rushed upstairs.

Cristine’s Pov:

I waved at Daniella as she reversed her car and drove out of the compound.

“I’ll see you later best” She screamed

I airkissed her as she speeded off.

I looked at the big duplex and sighed.

Her presence actually lightened the house up since the maids were on leave.

I yawned hungrily as I walked into the duplex.

? ? ???

I sliced the tomatoes ? and onions into a bowl as I brought out of the cupboard the can of vegetable oil.

Am very famished so I’ll be preparing sauce for dinner.

I turned the gas cooker on with the pot on top of it.

I poured the vegetable oil in the pot.

Suddenly, I began to have difficulty in breathing.

I felt like I was choking as smoke filled the whole place since I added onions into the oil.

I needed my inhaler.

This is definitely asthma attack.

I couldn’t even breathe.

I fell on the ground still gasping for breath.

I was almost passing out when someone rushed in.

Who could that be? ?

By then, the pot on the cooker was already on fire.

I fell into his arms still gasping for air.

“The… The…. The…. In…. In… haler..” I gasped

“What?’ the voice asked again.

The fire have already been quenched but there was still a little smoke.

“Inhaler… Drawer” I said as I could not say anything again.

He rushed off.

I was still struggling for breath in his arms…..
