Read Story: SEASON 1 EPISODE 5

Andrew’s Pov:

I rushed out of the kitchen and Cristine was still struggling to breathe.

I hurried upstairs and luckily for me, I found her room.

I searched everywhere thoroughly….

My heart was racing very fast.

“The drawer?” I said as I quickly throw the drawer open.

I found the inhaler and heaved a sigh of relief.

I quickly rushed off straight to the kitchen.

And luckily, she was still there struggling.

She was almost giving up.

I quickly placed the inhaler on her nose and she inhaled sharply.

She kept inhaling through it until she became better.

But she lost consciousness.

I pecked her cheek and smiled.

Thank goodness! She’s OK now.

I carried her in a bridal style upstairs.

I placed her on the bed and covered her with the duvet.

I stared at her deeply…

She looked so beautiful when she’s unconscious.

THREE HOURS LATER ?

Cristine’s Pov:

I weakly opened my eyes…..

I stared around as I scratched my head.

“How did I get here? I thought I was at the kitchen?” I thought within myself.

My door swing open and someone walked in.

It was Mr Andrew.

My eyes widened in shock.

What the fvck is he doing here?

“What are you doing here?” I screamed as I sit up quickly.

He grinned at me as he placed the tray he was carrying on the stool beside my bed.

I looked into the tray.

I saw a plate of hot soup with a spoon.

I arched my eyebrows in confusion and turned to him.

“Well Miss Cristine! I came into the kitchen three hours ago and saw you struggling for breath due to an asthma attack and….” He said.

Hot tears pricked my eyes and rolled down gradually.

He quickly stopped talking.

He walked closer to me and brought out a handkerchief.

He wiped my tears off with it.

“Thank you for saving me!” I said sharply

He only smiled broadly.

“You can leave now!” I said as I backed him.

He stared at me for sometime before nodding.

“Just take some soup and….” He said

“I said go away Mr Andrew!” I shouted as he gulped.

He walked out of the room.

I burst into tears as I hugged the pillow.

I would have been dead if he didn’t come to my aid.

I just don’t want to be deceived by men again.

Andrew’s Pov:

I drove off with my car lost in thought.

“What is really happening to my Andy? Why can’t you get her off your mind! She doesn’t want you” I said to myself as I hit the car steering wheel in anger.

Why can’t I just let Cristine out of my mind?

I breathed heavily as I continued driving.

I don’t know but I feel so attached to Cristine Cruz.

I can’t explain but I want her by myself all the time.

Does this mean am in love with her?

Hell no!

Not after what Sofie did to me… ?

I swore never to fall in love again but what’s really happening to me.

I exhaled deeply.

???

I gulped down the glass of whiskey as I belched loudly.

I stared at the empty six bottles of whiskey and smirked.

I refilled another glass and continued drinking.

I was already dead drunk but I don’t care.

Tears welled down my face as I refilled the glass again and again.

Why does she despise me?

Why do I have to love someone who doesn’t?

Why did I even have to fall in love again?

Oh love… You’re cruel….

I kept lamenting!

“Waiter more bottles of whiskey!” I ordered.

It was already getting dark and late but I don’t even care.

The bottles I requested was placed in front of me and I continued drinking.

Few hours later….

I was already asleep with the empty bottles lying around me.

I felt someone tap me gently and I gradually opened my weak eyes.

I coughed slightly.

“Cristine? Is that you?” I said drunk and my view was blurry.

“Sir we are about to close the bar! It’s almost 1am already” The waitress

“Shut up!” I yelled as she flinched.

“Sir please you are drunk!” She managed to say in fear

“Am not! I only want to see her… I want to see her… Once you get her here then I’ll go home” I belched

“Who Sir?” She asked as I brought out Cristine’s card staggering.

She took the card and looked at it.

“Call her! Bring her!!” I screamed crazily

She nodded as she dialed the number from the card to the telephone.

“It’s ringing Sir” She said as I smiled and coughed slightly.

Cristine’s Pov:

I walked out of the bathroom still in her bathrobe when her cell phone rang aloud.

She picked it up.

“Unknown number?” She muttered as she accepted the call.

☎️Hello Miss Cristine…. A voice echoed out of her cell phone

?Yes! Hello… How may I help you? She asked anxiously

☎️Uhmm… This is Five stars bar calling… The voice said again

?Uhmm… Do I have any business with you? I asked confused

☎️Errr… Ma’am someone told us to call you! It’s Mr Andrew he is dead drunk and have refused to leave the bar if you don’t come over… She said

I blinked my eyes….

?What? I yelled in shock

☎️Yes ma’am! The voice said

?Then push him out of the bar please it’s late and I need to get some rest… I said

“Cristine! Cristine!!” I heard Andrew’s voice from the background.

I quickly hung up and rolled my eyes.

I put on my nighties as I bounced on my bed.

I tried catching a sleep but I couldn’t.

I rolled from one side of the bed to another

“Why am I feeling uneasy?” I thought

I quickly got up from the bed and picked up my car keys from the drawer.

Still on my nighties I left the room.

I walked to the garage and drove off.

I wanted to stop myself but I just couldn’t.

Straight I drove to Five stars bar.

I walked into the empty bar.

I saw the waitress arguing with drunk Andrew.

Andrew quickly hugged me tightly.

I apologized to the waitress as I helped him into my car.

“Where do I take this guy?” I thought

I don’t even know his house.

I drove him straight to my house.

? ?

We got to the house and he staggered into the duplex.

I laughed so hard.

He’s so funny and cute when he’s drunk. ?

I helped him upstairs to the guest room.

Mehn! He’s so heavy.

I carried him close to the bed and we fell on the bed together and we chuckled.

I was on top of him.

Our lips drew closer as we stared into each others eyes passionately ?……
