Episode 23

Alexandra POV :

“Where are you,love?”

“I’ll be home in a bit. ” I reply and without hearing any reply ,I disconnect it . 8

I turn the door knob and enter my apartment. I get inside and close the door behind me before moving inside the living room to find Xander sitting on the couch flipping through the TV channels. 1

“What are you doing here?” I ask him before making my way into the kitchen and filling a glass with water. 1

I lean against the counter as I sip and look at him.

“I just want to see you. ” He says , smilingly while looking at me.

To be honest ,I am not in the mood to talk to him or anyone in that matter . Because of him I lost my job and then because of Justin ,I feel terribly worst. 32

All I want to do is just curl in a ball in my bed and shut the world out and sleep. I feel tired emotionally and physically. 3

“How did it go with your boss?” He asks me.

“I lost my job, congratulations.” I say sarcastically as he looks at me with a frown. 8

“I’m sorry for that.” I snort at his words as I put the glass down and move towards the room.

Yeah sorry for that. I bet he is happy to hear that.

“What are you doing? ” He call s out as i was about to close the door.

“I want to sleep. ” With that I slam the door shut, hoping he gives me some time alone. 17

Xander POV :

I watch in distraught as she shuts me out and close the door at me. I feel hurt when I hear the sound of lock clicking. 24

I sigh as I throw my head back on the couch and stare at the ceiling.

I know that she needs time alone. I can see it in her blank eyes but how can I stop myself to go in and hold her against me to take away her sadness. 8

I fist my hands as a thought enters my mind and laughs at me that she is sad because of losing her job because of me and also because of that guy she was aquintance with . Why is he even matters to her? 15

Yes I know about whoever that mutt is, Justin. And I am also aware of the things they had done behind my back. 221

Infront of my face. Because she hadn’t know, it was me playing with her. I regret my doing knowing the fact that maybe it was because of me she had gone to that guy to comfort her. 11

All my fucking fault, I thought angrily as I punch the couch in desperation. 27

I lean forward and put my head in my hands. I hadn’t know they would going to meet today. I have something else plan in m head to get that guy out of my way with my love.

That day,my anger had turned to extreme level when I saw him touching her on her couch and then she left, went to that cat girl to escape me. 11

Wrong move she had made. That day always leave a bitter taste in my mouth and make my sick mind,more sick. 31

I have been planning on showing that guy what will happen when someone touches, what is mine. When someone looks or even think about her. 23

But now, I think with a smirk ,it is fine that it turns out this way now I don’t have to do anything knowing the fact that he has gone out of the picture himself. 3

But still, he will going to get what he asks for, not now . But soon when mine and Lexi relationship gets stable, he will going to pay. 102

But for now I have to think of something to make my Queen happy. 17

I take a glance at her door before going out of her apartment thinking what to do.

Alexandra POV:

I don’t know how much time has passed before I am finally able to drag myself out of the bed.

I look at the clock and my eyes become wide seeing,it is already 6 p.m. I have been asleep for five hours. Wow. 29

I look around the living room and take a sigh of relief knowing Xander has left.

My stomach growls showing that i haven’t eaten. I rub my tummy muttering, 1

“Don’t worry, you will get full in few minutes. ” 46

I grab an apple from the fruit bowl on the counter and chew on it while opening the fridge looking for something decent to eat. 12

Suddenly my door bell rings. I furrow my eyebrows thinking who might it be. And with who I have to deal now. 6

I sigh before moving an opening the door only to find myself looking at the wall across my door. I look around to find no one.

My face change into an irritated one thinking if someone is messing with me today is not the day. I was about to slam the door shut as loudly as I can when my eyes fall on the package at the floor. 1

I bend down and retrieve it . There is a note attach to it. I close the door before opening the note,

‘ Give me a chance to make the love of my life , happy.

Give me a chance to mend the things I had done to the love of my life.

Give me a chance to make these chances worth with the love of my life.

Give me a chance to have a happily ever after with the love of my life. ‘ 107

Despite the bad mood,I was in, a smile makes it way on my face reading the words on the note. A lone tear falls down from my eyes reading the words ‘love of my life’,making me sigh in bliss. 26

‘Give me an honor to have you by my side today if you go out in a date with me?

If yes then wear this dress and be ready till 8p.m…

Xander’s pov :

I tap my feet in nervousness, standing in front of her door.

Has she accepted to go with me? 7

Is she getting ready?

What if doesn’t agree going with me? 46

I pull my suit jacket’s sleeves as scenerios of her rejecting going out with me or even closing the door infront of my face, replay inside my head. I pull myself together after hurriedly knocking the door. 5

I hear shuffling on the other side and then I hit by her sweet scent even before she opens her door and when she did, my mouth hangs open in shock.

And surprise.

I get mesmerized by her. There she is,standing infront of me,wearing black sleeveless dress with a sweetheart neckline , ending mid thigh. 33

The dress clings to her body in every right place,giving her curvaceous body more attention. The neckline is showing just a little of her cleavage. There is a silver belt on the middle of the dress,wearing silver wedges and silver breslet in one wrist. Blood red lipstick my favorite color along with smokey black eyes, making my member twitch . 264

But what get my attention is the necklace that I had given to her in graduation. 4

The same ruby stone, heart pendant.

My legs become weak, knowing she still has it. This is one of those things I have of my mother, which I had given to her that day. 64

She still has it. All this time and she still has it. 20

I smile looking in her eyes which are shining brightly checking me out in my suit,giving me satisfaction before they make contact with my eyes.

My smile mirrors hers. We just stand there looking at each other with emotions in our eyes. 3

“You look beautiful. ” I whisper,giving her my arm which she links with her, blushing furiously making me chuckle.

“And you look handsome. ” She compliments to which in return I grin. 20

I lean down kissing her cheek softly before helping her all the way to my car.

I start the engine before pulling out the car out of the driveway and towards our destination. 4

“Where are we going?” She asks.

“Somewhere.” I reply making her roll her eyes. 9

“Come on tell me. “

“Na-uh.” 1

“Please.”

I smile while shaking my head.

“Pretty please.” I look at her. She has a pout on her lips. 3

I pull over in the side. She looks at me with confusion but her confusion changes as I lean towards her making her eyes wide.

I pull her toward me before kissing her softly on her lips before she can even kiss back , I pull back before whispering over my lips. 21

“Keep pouting,it tempts me. ” Her breathing increases as she licks her lips. I groan before kissing her one more time but this time passionately before pulling back and starting the car again.

I look at her to find her still in shock, I smirk.

“It is beautiful. ” She whispers in awe while looking around,me doing the same. 1

A walkway is made with red carpet along the way on the sand to the table in the middle with two chairs opposite to each other with same red cloth on them . 4

A candle is set on the table with a round glass on it to prevent the breeze blowing it off. White brights lights hang around the area which lights up the side of the private beach, I have set this date on. 18

I take her towards the table, pull out her chair before helping her sit and taking seat myself.

“Thankyou.” I look up at her and my breath hitches in my throat to see her breathtaking smile.

“It is nothing… ” I take her hand in mine before squeezing it. “

“I can and will do everything for you. Everything and anything, beautiful. ” I kiss her hand making her blush. I smirk before clicking my fingers as my men come forward with different dishes in her hands , putting them on the table . 30

They nod at me and bow to Lexi who looks at me in confusion while I just grin and raise an eyebrow at her. 10

One man fills my glass and hers with wine. With that they all left.

I look in her eyes, trying to make her see the love I have for her before taking a deep breath and saying, 2

“I promise that to this day, I will do anything to make you happy. I will make you never regret this chance you had given me. I will make you the happiest girl in this world. I will love you like I have loved you from the start. I will take all your pain away. I will comfort you,keep you safe. I promise you to remind you this everytime. I promise you to try and fulfill my promise. I promise to never let you down. ” 104

Tears fall down from her eyes, silently. I can see the love she has for me in her eyes. I smile leaning forward and wiping her tears. 78

“Now I am making you cry again. ” I shake my head while she giggles with tears still in her eyes.

I raise my glass in the middle she follows suit with a beautiful smile in her face. 3

“To our beautiful start.” I cheer. 44

And with that we continue our date in bliss of having each other by our sides. Talking about random things while eating dinner. 3

After we are done, we make our way to the car again .

“I was thinking about something. ” I say to her. 16

“Yes?” She asks.

“Well. If you want to do you want to work with me? ” 31

“Uh?” She asks in confusion. 3

“Well. I have a company which manages events. So why not you work for me rather than looking for other jobs.”

She looks at me trying to figure me out.

“Why?” She asks. 1

“Uh. Well. I promise to make you happy and if doing job makes you happy. You can do it in my company,you know. ” I almost plead.

Surely,I have many companies but not any event management company but I will going to buy one if that’s what make her happy and what makes me in peace knowing she will be safe there. 174

“I will think about it.” She says as I nod my head, opening door for her before jogging over towards my side and starting the engine.

I take her hand in mine while my other still on steering wheel as i take a turn in the already silent road. Moon shining brightly ahead of us. 11

I smile to myself knowing that finally it went well. Our date went well and good without any difficulty, I look at her to see her smiling to herself also. 2

I sigh in satisfaction knowing she is happy. Finally. I lift her hand making her look at me as I kiss her palm,in return she tugs our intertwined toward her kissing the back of my hand. I swear my dead heart flutter a bit. 155

But then our blissful bubbles burst when I see a car speeding towards us , in rearmirror. I clench the steering wheel and slam the gas pedal,making a soft gasp escape Lexi’s mouth as she clings to the dashboard. 137

I am going to destroy anyone who will try to touch her. I will ruin everyone who will even try to hurt her.
