Bloody Lips

Episode 40

I wait for him to say anything as I keep fiddling with his shirt’s buttons.

Seconds pass by but he doesn’t say anything. I frown thinking why is he not saying anything?

Slowly and hesitantly, I lift my gaze and lock with his. His blank face giving nothing about what he is thinking.

Then I see a slight twitch of his lips. That overgrown cat is laughing at me! I narrow my eyes at him giving him my best glare and that’s do it as he starts chuckling and shaking his head at me. 10

He sits up and leans against the headboard and I follow his actions but rather than leaning, I sat cross legs infront of him.

He runs his hand through his hairs before sighing and then looks at me,licking his lips.

“Do you want to spend your eternity with me,Lexi?” He asks in a soft tone keeping his blank face. Without hesitation, I answer him firmly.

“Yes…” He smiles at me, his eyes looking at me lovingly.

“I want you to think seriously, sweetheart. Do you know what are you asking? Please think about this.” He says in a calm tone, looking at me seriously. 11

“I had enough time to think about this, Xander. All this time,I was thinking about this. One day, I am going to get old and cranky and have white hair and…” I trail off as his shoulders shake with silent laughter that makes me glare at him. He puts his hands up in surrender motion and motion at me to continue. 3

“So I was saying , I am going to be old but you will not. You will remain the same for hundred years from now on and more ahead but I will-” He cuts me off suddenly by moving infront of me,his face just inches away from me as he looks me in the eye.

He lifts his hand up and strokes my cheek gently. When he talks again, sincerity and seriousness drips from his voice.

“Without you, there will be no reason for my living. If from hundred years or more ahead from now on, you won’t be there then I won’t be there also. But you know, you’re right. You will get old and I will remain the same and young, ah that will be so….. Not that you won’t be beautiful because I know you will make a good old lady but-” 49

I was staring at his lips when he was saying this. But when his words register in my head, my eyes snap upward and I glare at him. Amusement dances in his eyes as he grins at me, I slap his chest, hardly, pushing him away.

He lays back on the back and laughs loudly, his eyes twinkling as he looks at me.

He is so gorgeous.

I move forward on my hands and knees, trying to be seductive. His laughter ceases as I climb his lap and straddle him, leaning and inching close to his face. 24

I kiss his neck, his hand coming to bury in my hair while other grabs my waist. I kiss,lick and suck on his sweet spot on the collarbone as a low growl erupts from his chest that encourages me more.

“Xander…” I whisper his name in a low voice,my lips still attacking his neck skin .

“Hmmm?” He murmurs.

“Will it hurt?” He strokes my hair, kissing my head. I look up at him, his eyes are closed and he is biting his lower lip as his chest moves upward and downward heavily. I move and peck his lips softly. 1

“What,baby?” He asks in a husky tone making my toe curls. 19

“The changing. Will it hurt?” He stills, the hand stroking my hair halts as he opens his eyes to look at me. In a blink of my eyes, I am on my back as he hovers over me, supporting his weight on his arms. 4

“It does.” He replies seriously. My heart starts beating wildly.

“How?” I whisper, lifting my hands and burying my fingers in his soft hair. He closes his eyes at my touch, leaning his head in my hands.

“Xander.”

“Mmm..”

“Tell me.” He sighs, opening his eyes again to look at me.

“Only the vampire who has Royal blood in them, can change a human into a vampire,by drinking the blood from the human body and releasing the venom into the bloodstream at the same time. Then when the human is about to lose… Lose his life or soul, the vampire has to give his blood to the human to drink it. It is a very painful process,my love. That’s why, I want you to think about it.”

I realize how he is the Royal vampire so he can change the human but I also notice how he is using ‘human’ instead of me. I take a deep breath , keeping my eyes on my fingers that are stroking his hairs and processing everything.

“But once the vampire starts giving you his blood, the pain-the burning sensation subsides as new feeling takes over. After that the transition takes two or three days for your body to fully adjust to the change.” 20

“Have you done it before?” I ask him in a low voice, shakily. I am scared and nervous. Getting your blood drained from your body then drinking another vampire blood. I shudder at the thought.

“Yes, I have.” I look at him with confusion. Who does want to change themselves into vampire? Like I know, why I want to because I am in love with one. Are there others in the same situation like me? 16

I break out of my daze when I feel his fingers brush my neck.

“I know what you are thinking and yes, there are others also who have mates that are human. I only change them when they want to. They know the consequences, the rules. I change them and in return, I want their loyalty, their obedience. ” He leans down and kisses my side neck, sending shivers down my spine. He trails to my neck up my jaw,leaving open mouthed kisses everywhere. He kisses the side of my mouth before licking it. 1

“Can you do this?” He whispers. My breath quickens at his voice as I bit my lips.

“Can you do this? Change for me ? “He asks in a low voice.

“Go through all the struggle of becoming a one like me?”

“Spend your eternity with me? “

He keeps asking me questions but I am too distracted by his lips to answer one. He chuckles before pulling away slightly and looking into my eyes.

“Can you?” He whispers again as I feel his body lowering down at me ever so slightly but that was enough to make my mind send frenzy.

“Yes… I can..”I breath out as my fingers clench in his hair making him groan,closing his eyes. I will do anything for him after all he is everything I have now. I am little freaking out but I push that away. I can freak out later. I have to get this out now. 1

“I love you, Xander. I want to live forever with you,no matter what. ” I tell him with honesty. 7

” I don’t want you to get hurt, Alexandra. The pain will be too much. The struggle to control your blood thirst. The hunger to kill.” He says in a hard voice but still keeping his eyes closed as he leans his forehead against mine. 10

“Will you be there for me? In all of this? ” I ask him, looking at his face as my fingers trail down his forehead to his jaw. He opens his eyes , looking straight in my eyes.

“Always.” I smile at him,lovingly. 10

“Then I think, I will be fine. After all, it will be worth everything. ” I peck his lips. He sighs in content rolling over taking me with him. He puts my head on his chest as I lay halfway up on him. He wraps his arm tightly around me, kissing my head.

“You make me so happy,love. I don’t care if you are human or not because I am not letting you go anywhere. But I feel like the most lucky man in this world that you want to change and go through this for me. I love you so much,Alexandra Shine Ronald.” 65

My heart swells at his warm words. I feel my eyes prick with tears as I look at our hands intertwine with each other on his chest.

“You make me happy also,Xander . I love you.” 2

“Good. Another reason for me to never let you go.” He says,possessively and I roll my eyes at him but smiling nonetheless. 1

“Are there any Royals other than you?” I ask him out of nowhere,suddenly. That thought just comes into my mind.

“There are.” I look up at him with question.

“There are?” He nods at me, moving my hair away from my face with his fingers.

“Aha. There are few people who have royal blood in their system. After the dead of my parents,everything just had fallen apart. Nobody had any idea what to do so the just scattered. They will be out there somewhere. It is hard to get hold of them but not impossible. ” He smiles at me but there is a glint in his eyes. Love. Love for his family.

“Will we meet them sometime? ” I ask with excitement. He smirks at me with mischief in his eyes.

“Soon, baby. Very soon.”
