Ayo, one of her relations, who lived in d same

compound saw wot happened nd scolded her,

asking her to apologize,but she bluntly refused nd

walked away feeling on top of d world.

Ayo:Am sorry abt dat.

Frank:God!! he exclaimed.

Ayo:Don’t mind d girl, he said. she’s very saucy nd

spoilt, i will report her to her father. he said nd

walked away.

Frank:If live has been fair to me, i won’t be here to

experience this frm this spoilt girl.he said nd

continue wot he was doing.

Frank was terribly bitter nd felt like crying.

incident made him even more conscious of d class

gap btw him nd Oyin, he sown never to her

anything to do wit her.

. For two days After d incident, Frank did not set

his eyes on Oyin wishing he could at least see her

as he couldn’t understand d feelings he got for her

after wot she did to him. he was abt loosing hope

of seeing her.

A week later, she came to d gate looking downcast

as she didn’t know wot to say.

frank noticed someone standing close to him, he

looked up nd dia eyes met.he quickly look away.

Oyin:pls ermm…ermmm…

Frank:wot did u want? he shouted

Oyin:pls, at least hear me out, she replied him

Frank:who cares. he said nd signed pretending to

be angry.

Oyin:I didn’t mean to slap u,”it was a mistake. pls

forgive me.

He was speechless for sometime nd wondering

wot had come over her dat made d almighty Oyin

to ask for forgiveness. he gazed at her nd for d first

time looked at her closely.

She seemed very much like a woman in her

twenties,very pretty bt he knew she was in her

teens nd jst d age of his immediate younger sister.

Unconsciously,beads of tears began to form on his

eye lashes.2 or 3 rolled down his cheeks nd

splashed at his feet.

Frank:I’ve forgiven U,”he said, trying to hide d

tears frm her.wiping d wetness on his cheeks.

Oyin:Are u crying? she asked.

Frank:Noooo

Oyin:but u are, nd i know u are.

Frank:but am not, he smiled trying to hide d pains

on his face

Oyin:ok.
