Read Story: SEASON 1 EPISODE 45

. A car drove into Chillas hospital, as it grind to

an halt and finally entered the hospital garage.

Doctor frank stepped down from his infinity high

lander with a brief case firmly held on his

hand. he began to walk into his hospital when

many people and some patients ran towards

him, shouting and crying on top of their voice as

many of them were struggling for who to rush at

him first before the others.

“Doctor, my husband is dying pls help me. she

sob. I don’t want him to die…A woman said to

him with a loud voice as she held him on the leg

while others continue to persuade the young

doctor to help them.

“Pls doctor, help my mother she’s dying…A little

girl shouted and wept while Doctor frank stared

at the people infront of him.

He was silent for a while before he cleared his

throat and said.

“I want everyone to calm down pls, he

began. No one is dying ok,

I will attain to every patient in this hospital

within 5 minutes just give me sometime. Pls

excuse me. he address the people and left

immediately.

Doctor frank was due for the day,he was so tired

and stressed out after attaining to many

patients in the ward.

He was on leave and was preparing to go to the

airport that evening, to catch his flight to london

when he got a call that his attention was

urgently needed at the hospital.

A man was rushed to the hospital,he had an

accident that affected his heart and needed an

urgent attention.

There was ample time for him to go to the

hospital and still make it to the airport an hour

before the departure of the flight so he quickly

drove to the hospital.

He walked in and settled down in his office

when the medical director came in and told him

there was a patient who needed urgent heart

surgery to stay alive.

“Doctor Mike is very ill and cannot handle the

case right now. he said.You are the only person

who can handle it now. he said while Doctor

frank shook his head and said.

It’s not going to be possible, Sir.I am supposed to travel

out of the country to

london for a seminar and my flight leaves in two

hours time.he said and the medical director

scratched his head in outer confused manner.

“So there’s no way you can do it? he asked

while he shook his head.

“It’s a pity;I can’t help it.he sighed and looked

away.

The medical director turned to a middle-age

woman who was with him.

“Ma’am, this is the only doctor that can handle

the operation right now but unfortunately, his

supposed to travel out of the country this night.

he shook his head and stared at the woman. I

don’t know what else to do.

The woman began to sob pathetically as she

knelt down before doctor frank and held his

hand.

. “Pls doctor, save my brother. pls save him for

me.He’s all i have now.she sobed.He’s the only

hope of our family and his death will ruin a lot

of people, especially his only daughter. pls

doctor, don’t let my brother die.she said and

sob louder.

The way she cried touched doctor frank that he

decided to look at the sick man.he quietly stood

up and told the medical director to show him

the patient.

they walked slowly and into the emergency ward

were he layed. doctor frank walked close to him

and tried to feel his breath.he stood still and

moved back as he stared at the patient, on

closer look, he was shocked to see Mr.Otunba

douglas lying almost lifeless on the bed. his

mouth dropped wide open and the first thought

that came to his mind was to abandon the

wicked man to die, but he remembered Oyin

and the love he still have for her and the spirit

of God in him. he decided to do this for Oyin as

he their relationship back then.

It’s wrong to pay evil with evil.you expect God

to forgive you of ur sins, yet you have not

forgiven somebody that wronged U.if you don’t

forgive him and allow him die, God will not

forgive ur sins.he will let you die too…A little

voice said to him.he sighed and moved back.

The medical director told him the sick man

would die before the next hours, If he did not receive

medical attention.

“We have done everything necessary for the

operation. the director said and Doctor frank

sighed and said.

“Well, I guess i have to cancel my journey to

london. let him be taken to the theatre

immediately. he ordered and left for the

theatre.

Senator Otunba douglas was wheeled into the

theatre where doctor frank battled tirelessly to

save his life as many nurses ran from here and

then with medical equipment.

After eight hour of being inside the theatre, he

was wheeled out of the theatre after a

successfull operation and he was taken to the

intensive care unit where he was closely

monitored.
