“How dare you!? Who do you think you are?. I will proceed with the plan and testify against you!”
“I’ll pretend like I didn’t hear but just so you know, I have someone in the hospital this minute, so I’m gonna ask you one more time, will you withdraw?”
“I won’t!”
“That’s all I needed to know”
Tiara reached for her phone and dialed a number as Fiona watched her. Joseph answered in the fourth ring
“Go ahead with the…..”
“Stop!”,Fiona shouted with tears streaming down her eyes
“Wait…”,Tiara ordered Joseph
“I can’t”,Fiona declined again, shaking her head back and forth
Still with the phone in hand,Tiara spoke to Joseph “Carry on and don’t make any mis…..”
“Please No!!”,Fiona interrupted yet again
“Hold on,I’ll get back to you”,Tiara told Joseph and dropped
“Tiara,please I gave Joshua my word. I can’t betray him”
“You gave dad your word and you have betrayed him more than I can count”
“No,dad made a mistake of asking us to take revenge and I’m sure he regrets it now”
She wasn’t going to let Fiona say those crap about their dad not knowing what he was doing.
“I will not go into that with you,Fiona. Do you wish to withdraw?”
“Joshua will never forgive me for……”
“I’ll asked a question and I demand an answer and not some story about your silly boyfriend”
“Please, let me say something,I…..”
“The next time I pick up this phone, I’ll make the call and your Joshua would end like a slowpoke…. just like his cheating father”
“I want to say something, please listen to me”
“The only thing I wanna hear you say it’s Yes or No”
After what seemed like a silence that bore tension, Fiona said “I give in but this isn’t over”
“For once in your life, you made the right decision and I’d love to see you fight. Let’s make the necessary calls,Shall we?

Tiara in a black causal gown,descending the stairs,apparently on her way to board meeting when Liza stopped her
“Are you done with Fiona?”,Liza asked
“Done? what do you mean done?”
“Done….I mean you’ll let her go free?”
“We’ve gotten back at her,haven’t we?”
“She betrayed you. She betrayed dad and you’re doing nothing about it”
“Liza……”
“No,Fiona will hear….. from me. She isn’t off my hook….yet”,Liza said as she walked back to her room leaving Tiara stare at her in wonder and questioned herself if Liza was taking the revenge too far.

Tiara almost went after her but on a second thought, changed her mind. That would have to wait a
until she got back from the board meeting.

Tiara and Pedro were soon on their way out and Tiara could already visualize Robert’s face when he finds out that she has been the one in his dreams and soon,she would turn those dreams to nightmares.
She cast a look at Pedro, who would have thought he had a brother? Who would have thought he had a family?. She felt like she had opened herself to him and he had told her nothing in return- not that it bothered her or did it?
Her mind drifted back to Liza. Had she made the mistake of bringing Liza in on the revenge?. She had never known Liza to be this way. What has happened to her?, she didn’t seem like the fun,an ‘easy to be with’ kind of kid. Whatever happened to her on the street? Maybe she could have a talk with her but the problem was that Liza had never talked about her street life. Whenever the topic about her street life was brought up,she would just bluff it off and anyone who looked closed would see the sudden change in her countenance. She hated talking about it and that only means something bad had happened to her and she was going to find out….
“Hey….”,Pedro called “You okay?”
“Yeah,I think. Why?”
“You think?”
“Yeah, I think. Why?”
“For a moment there, you looked lost”
“Hmmm”
“Are you lost?”
“What?”,Tiara wondering what sort of question was that. “I am not”
“I don’t believe…..”,his phone vibrated in his pants,interrupting him
“Yes Steel?”,Pedro spoke to the phone
“Pedro,the boss wants answers”
“Well,I’m on my way to your office now”
“Can’t you just tell me the name of the buyer already?”
“No,I can’t because I need to ask your boss some questions”
“The board meeting is in fifteen minutes”
“And I’ll be there before fifteen minutes”
“Just say the name. Pedro,this isn’t a joke”
Silence
“Fine. I guess I’ll be seeing you in fifteen minutes. Goodbye”
The line was disconnected
“Why do you have to see Robert?”,Tiara asked
“There are some vital information he could spill. People like him tend to trust PIs”
“Hmmm”
“Trust me”
Yeah,that was the problem with her. She trusted him too much- Tiara thought
