Chief mrs picked her phone and placed a call ……

we were all in the kitchen anxious to listen to what she wants to say…… i was eager to know who tola is,and how she is related to the williams family………..

Chief mrs: hello!! aduke,weldone ooo

Me: who is aduke….thought she said she wants to call tola mum…..i asked mama femi who was also listening to the conversation.

Mama femi: just calm down,let the coversation ends first

Me: ok …… i nodded…..

Chief mrs: weldone oo,you only told me my daughter will be back soon you didnt tell me the exact date … sho da be (is that good)…..

Chief mrs: i see… ehn ehn … ah i was angry nah cus she called precious not long and informed her she is back to nigeria.

Chief mrs: kosi wahala (no problem)….yeah she said she will be here on saturday though…..

Chief mrs: take care of her for me oo…dont forget to feed her with assorted food oo..hahaha … alright odabo (bye)….

she ended the conversation with a smile….precious was too happy and i could see it written on her face….who is this tola sef that is making them too happy i kept asking myself……..

Precious: mum i really cant wait to see tola… have missed her so much….wow close to 5yrs now….

Chief mrs: see you,so u can gist and gist and gist abi

Precious: of course mum

they both luaghed….

Chief mrs: standing up…… anyways i have to rest now…. she went upstairs leaving precious in the sitting room who was busy going through her phone……

After we have all listened to the conversation i could not wait to understand what was really going on so i asked mama femi

Me: but i dont seems to understand who tola and aduke is,and y chief mrs and precious are both excited…looking confused….

Mama femi: ah with all the question u threw at a time which one do u want me to first answer now….

Me: all…. i said it jokingly

Mama femi: you know i told u have been working here for good 20yrs?

Me: yes u did… trying to figure out what brought abt the history….

Me: yes of course… i agreed to that by nodding….

Mama femi: you see,let me start like this…,Aduke is chief mrs friend right from childhood,infact they are best of friends,infact sisters…..

Mama femi: Tola is aduke’s daughter,tola is a very good friend to precious just as chief mrs is to aduke…

Me: hmmm…now i get …good enough to be happy about…but is that all… i anxiously ask mama femi….

Mama femi: Noo o ,haa u see chief mrs and aduke wants tola and melvin to get married due to thier wealth and influence you know how this rich people are….

Me: was a bit confused,… but who is melvin?…

on hearing that my heart skipped…..so the handsome guy i was staring at his pics the other day is the one to marry tola……..
