Episode 15

I found Felicia out at the verandah where I and Bayo had been, and she was with Bayo. sigh. He saw me coming from the back of the house before Felicia did and he wrapped up whatever they were discussing and went inside before I got to her.

“wetin you and this guy dey talk hush hush sef”, I asked casually and sat beside her on the railing.

” Don’t mind him, he’s saying he wants to come see us when we return to school, that he likes you and wants to date you but you are fvcking up, that you should change and blahblahblah”. she was moving her head from side to side as she spoke in a sing song manner.

I snorted a laugh. It just occurred to me that Felicia was
kinda having a hard time bringing herself to confront me. she is my best friend till date and every time we had issues (which is rare), we would just put up attitude and then simmer down after.

“he’s mad, the next time he’s saying that rubbish, tell him I said he’s mad. abeg, I’m ready to go back home. if we can leave today sef, I don’t mind”. I said, dismissively.

There was silence from her, I look at her and not was obvious she was bottling sh!t up. she wanted to express her disappointment in me, bit she was holding back.

“you know you fvcked up Diana”, she said finally.

I wasn’t gonna insult her intelligence, I knew very well what she was talking about so I wasn’t about to ask her “what are you talking about?”.

” I know, I know. But then, you were there when he came to me, you didn’t restrain him. and I’m pretty sure you didn’t confront him about it and you still haven’t”. I felt bad Immediately after I said that. I mean, here I am, trying to blame my friend for my own actions.

But, we were only having fun, why would she be mad at me for having drunk S£x with a guy she was only having a fling with. trust me, I wouldn’t have cared, I’d even be down for a party!
