The Unsmooth Ride

At night that day, Marvelous came home happy with the mindset that he would have access to having sex with Constance that night.

As he came, Helen greeted him and he simply ignore as if nobody had even sneezed. He dashed straight to the room to say “hello” to his supposed one and only Constance.

Getting to the room, he saw a different Constance from last night. She was moody and showed no sign of welcoming nature.

However, they still exchanged pleasantries

. Though it was Monday and normally a stressful day at work, with the hope of the reward for the night, he didn’t feel tired at all.

This gave Helen Peace of mind to see her aunt’s husband in a happy mood for the first time since she came. At least I won’t be disturbed today” She said within herself.

Helen then went to her room to have a WhatsApp chat with Edwin her boyfriend.

Marvelous went to bathe still with that joy, but before he would come out, Constance had left Helen’s room.

“Not again.” Marvelous shouted out loud.

“I thought we had settled this last night” He continued still shouting to no one but himself.

When Helen, who was the recipient of the unwanted visitation saw Constance, she then knew that what went wrong before had gone wrong again. But as usual, she wouldn’t take part in it

. So she didn’t even bother asking Constance about it.

“Constance, what’s the meaning of this again” Marvelous said raising his voice up as he walked into Helen’s room.

“Wouldn’t it have been more gentleman-like if you had knocked the door before entering” Constance replied calmly.

“It’s my house. I pay the rent and can decided to walk into any room, and at any time I decide” Marvelous continued still brooding with anger.

When Constance saw the manner at which Marvelous was shouting, determined to take their matrimonial problem to their matrimonial room, she said “Am sure you came here to look for me. And I know why you came. Let’s go to the room and discuss this”

“Discuss? Did you just said discuss? So you have always had the option to discuss all these while and all you do is run to you niece’s room?” Marvelous angrily said.

As he was done talking, Constance got up from the bed she was lying and went straight for the door. Marvelous followed her still with both still exchanging words as they walked to their room. Helen just sat there still in amazement.

Afterwards, one thing led to another and they had sex again. But this wasn’t a smooth ride for Constance and as usual, she wasn’t satisfied. But of course Marvelous didn’t even care.
