After the dinner, i went to my room and lie on my bed thinking about my mistakes. I should have resist her i muttered to myself.

I said what happened in your school today? My dad screamed out…my leg lose it balance and i fell on my knees (God forgive me all my sins na the song my heart dey sing coz i know datz the end)..can’t you talk or the slap has deaf you(rhetorical question) my mum asked.. My dad loose his belt, my mind skipped i thought he want to beat me so he made his way to the visitor’s toilet..

My dad beat the he’ll out of my life that night..when my mum can’t withstand the beating again she tried to stop my dad but he turned his deaf ear to her an continue to beat my..

I felt a shield at my back(my mum guided me from my dad beating). My dad didn’t notice that my mum has covered my and he fire his belt at me again and this hit my mum on her, near her right ear(this left a Mark on her face which took years before it healed). My mum screamed and this brought my dad back to his senses. What happen dear? He inquired..i turned back to see what happen and i saw my mum holding her ear, i lowered her hand and blood followed it. Jesus! I screamed(as if it was Jesus that injured her) my dad grabbed her and placed her on his lap right on the floor. Get me the first aid box the first aid box he shouted at me….. I ran like a thief to his room on my way back to the i fell on the step…that was the last thing i knew……………..
