Episode 4

JENNY

“Welcome honey!

I wanted to hug my husband but he gave me the shock of my life.

“Don’t hug me! Hold that your greetings there!

He shouted and pushed me at aside.

“What is it honey? Did anything happen at work today?

I asked being so confused.

“Don’t ask me that nonsense and get my food ready?

He shouted and went to the room.

My head was filled with so much confusion,what happen to my husband I have never seen him in that stage before what is going with him,could it be that something happen to the office today?

I guess I have to find out what the problem could be.

I set the table ready for dinner.

I went to the room to call him for dinner but he shocked me again.

“My love your food is served”

I said placing my hand on his shoulder but he threw my hands away on like him.

“Don’t touch me!

He shouted and walked out

“What is it my husband,why is your mood?

I asked following him behind but he snubbed me.

I wonder what could being eating him up.

We got to the dinner table,I dished his food and also mine.

“My love did anything happen to the office today,why are you like this?

I asked expecting an answer from him but he snubbed me again.

“Talk to me am your wife,what is eating you up?

I asked again.

“Abi woman! Won’t you allow me to eat my food in peace in my own house or should I leave it for you”

He shouted.

He never addressed me in such manner before,something is deflently wrong somewhere but what could be the problem.

I did not ask him any more question until he finished his food and went up to the room without waiting for me to tidy up the kitchen as usual.

My head was filled with so much worries and confusions,the stage he is in is so bad and I want to know what happen to him so that I will cheer him up.

I tidy up the kitchen and went to the room,he is already in the bathroom without waiting for me,I sat at the bed with my two hands on my jaw waiting for him to come out.

“My husband talk to me,what happen to you? Why are you like this?

I asked as soon as he came out from the bathroom.

He did not utter any word to me,he dressed up and went to bed.

I lied beside him and he back faced me,I tried to call his attention.

“My love why are you keep silent on me? Won’t you share your problem with me?

I asked.

“Woman what is it again! Won’t you allow me to sleep or did you want me to leave the room for you?

He shouted.

“No my love! I just want to know what is eating my husband up so that I will know where to help him out?

I said.

“Don’t ask me any silly questions again”

He shouted and took some pillows and walked out from the room.

“My love please come! I will not ask you any more questions again”

I shouted to his hearing.

What is wrong with Joe? Why is he not sharing his problem to me?

I thought all night without fallen asleep.

In the morning,I prepared his breakfast waiting for him at the dinning table.

“My love good morning!

I greeted him but no reply.

“My love am greeting you”

I said.

“What should I do with your greetings? Should I eat it or what?

He shouted.

“Won’t you have breakfast before leaving?

I asked as soon as he was about leave.

“I don’t need that poison you called food”

He shouted and walked out.

“He called my food poison”

That word mad me the most,I sat down crying and thinking what have done to him that warrant him to talk to me in a such manner.

Later in the evening,he came back and I served his food.

“Oh my God! What is this? Why too much pepper? Did you want to kill me or what?

He shouted as he split out the food.

“How can you say such thing my love? Why should I add too much pepper when I know fully well you don’t like pepper? There’s no pepper in it”

I said tasting the food.

“So am now lying abi?

He shouted.

“No my love! Taste the food again you will no that there’s no pepper”

“You are still calling me a liar?

He shouted and poured the soup on me.

“Why did you poured the soup on me,what have I done to warrant this from you?

I cried out.

“Next time you prepare such a food for me you will not like what I will do to you nonsense! He shouted and walked out.

“What is this,What I have done to him,what is going on?

I cried out.

I got myself cleaned,I don’t know why my husband is behaving this way and he don’t want to share his problem to me.

JOE

Everything about Jenny now disgust me so much,the thought of her being pregnant for that rapist upset me so much and I think the only way to stop being upset with her is for her to abort that bastard.

“You called me my love?

She said.

“Yes I do,have a sit”

I said and she sat down.

“You I know I love you so much and I have endure the pain of you being raped but what I will not tolerate is my wife to give birth to a bastard a rapist child,no it can’t be in my house will such happen”

I said.

“What are you trying to say to me Joe?

She asked.

“What am saying is that you need to abort that bastard in your womb”

I shouted.

“You said I should do what? Abort this my baby”

She shouted.

“If you want us to still live happily as a loving couples you need to get ruin of that thing in that womb”

I shouted.

“No! I will never abort my baby,over my dead body will I do such thing to my child,don’t you know that’s committing a murder?

She shouted.

“You must abort that thing ooo! Unless there will be no peace in this house”

I shouted.

“I will never do such thing to an innocent child,not my baby”

She stood and shouted.

“That bastard must be abort not in my house will a rapist child will be born”

I shouted.

“I have say my own,I will not soak my hand with an innocent child’s blood,i will never do that”

She shouted and walked out.

“We shall see if you will abort it or not”

I shouted and went upstairs.

JENNY

How could Joe thought of a devilish thing? Me abort my baby,I will not do that.

I know the father is a rapist but the innocent child is my own so why should I kill her?

Now I know why Joe was treating me that way.

There’s nothing he will do nor say that will make me to kill my baby.

JOE

She must abort that bastard in that womb,not in my house will I have a child of a rapist,whether Jenny like it or not that baby must be flush out.

“Take this!

I gave a termination pregnancy pill I bought from the pharmacy.

“What is this?

she asked.

“This a pill that will terminate that bastard,the doctor assured me that it very powerful”

I said.

“Am not taking anything,I have told you that I will never abort this child”

she said.

“Said by who? that bastard must be flush out today”

I shouted.

“Am not taking this drug”

she shouted and wanted to ran out.

I dragged her back forcely,slapped and pushed her to the bed.

“Joe leave me,I will not abort my baby”

she cried out struggling to escape from me.

“You must take this drug whether you like it or not”

I shouted and forced the drug with water inside her mouth.

She wanted to viomt it out,i hit her and she swallowed it.

“Joe why are you doing this to me?

she cried out.

“Babe stop crying,its not my intention to do this to you,I just want that bastard to be flush out and we can now have our own child”

I said and peeked her.

“Don’t touch me,I hate you for doing this to me”

she cried out.

“Don’t say that love,all am doing is for our own good”

I said and walked out.

JENNY

“God why is Joe being so wicked to me,why did he want to kill my baby?

“My little one please don’t live me,I can’t bear to loose you,if I loose you I will die,God please don’t allow my baby to die”

I cried out holding my tummy.

Few minutes later,he came inside the room.

“My love how are you feeling,are you feeling any pain in your abdominal,the doctor told me that the pill is very effective”

he asked.

“Leave me,don’t touch me”

I shouted at him.

“My love stop crying nah,all am doing is for our own good,I want to know how you are feeling right now”

He sounded.

“Am not feeling anyhow”

I said.

“Did you mean you are not experience any pain?

He asked.

“You want to kill my baby but it will not work for because this child in my womb is a precious one”

I said still crying.

“No nah! This can be,the doctor assured me that the pill is very effective once you take it within few minutes it will start its work”

he sounded.

“Your plan failed you because my God will not allow an innocent soul to die”

I shouted.

“You thought I will stop here? Nope! That thing must go out,this metthod failed me but there are many ways to kill a rat”

he shouted and walked out angrily.

“Joe what are you planing to do to me again?

I shouted to his hearing.

“God thank you for saving my precious one”

I said touching my tummy.

JOE

I have already arranged a doctor who will terminate the pregnancy.

I got to the room I met her sleeping,I brought out a rope and starting to tie her up.

“What are you doing to me Joe? Leave me”

She shouted struggling to collect the rope from me.

“Since the pill failed so I thought of another way to flush that thing out”

I shouted trying to tie her up.

“Leave me Joe,you are hurting me”

she cried out.

“Stop crying love,you know I don’t like seeing you crying,this is the only way for us to get ruined of that pregnancy”

I said struggle with her and over powered her,I tied her both hands with the bed and also her legs.

“Untie me Joe,Joe come back here and untie me”

she cried out.

I went downstairs and brought the doctor.

“Doctor he want to kill my child without my will,please Doctor don’t do this to me,I know you are a father how will you feel if your little baby is taking away from you? please spare my baby’s life,I beg you in the name of God”

she cried out.

“Doctor don’t listen to her,do your job you know I pay you fully well for this so do your work”

I shouted.

“Please Doctor don’t stain your hand with the blood of an innocent soul,please spare my baby’s life”

she cried.

The doc breathed and said,

“Mr Joe I don’t think if I can be able to do this”

“Doc what did you mean?

“I don’t want to kill an innocent soul”

he replied.

“Just do this for me,I promise to double your money”

“I don’t need your money,you can keep it,I don’t want to stain my hand with an innocent blood”

he said and walked out.

“Thank you Doc for saving my baby’s life”

“Doc come back here and your work”

I shouted and followed him.

I tried to conceive him and promised to give him millions of money but he refused.

JENNY

God thank you so much again for saving my baby’s life.

I cried out struggling to untie myself but I couldn’t.

“Joe come and untie me”

I shouted as soon as he came inside.

“So you are now happy that the stupid doctor did not do his work?

he shouted.

“Joe why! Why! Why Joe,Why did you vow to kill my baby?

I cried out.

“It is not our baby,it is the rapist’s child and that child must go out today,I have tried to flush it out but that thing is proving stubborn but his going out I will not pass today”

he shouted and brought out a belt.

“Nooooooo Joe! Don’t use the belt on me”

I cried out as he raised up the belt to hit me.

“You bastard you must go out today”

he shouted and hit me the belt on my tummy.

I cried and cried,i shouted for help as he was hitting me the belt on my tummy.

I was crying and crying until I fall unconscious.
