Deborah’s POV ?

“Deborah!!” My called from her room

“Be fast with your bath. You’re gonna be late for school.”

These days things akward have been happening.

First was Mike knocked down by johnbull, second is Johnbull missing from school.

It’s test day, I don’t want to score less, so I went somewhere calm to read.

“Hey beautiful” someone called, pointing to me

“Are you talking to me?”

“Yea” the boy answered, after sitting beside me – his name was Daniel

“I uhhm really don’t understand geography, can you help?” Daniel asked, looking a bit shy

“Yea sure, it’s just like other subjects.” I replied. Truth be told, geography is a little bit difficult.

Daniel and I studied for about thirty minutes. He was the first to have ever spoken to me.

People run away from me cos I was not that beautiful, I think ..

Johnbull’s POV ?

“Knock knock!!” Someone called from outside.

“Johnbull go check who dey outside” my mom commanded

I went out as instructed, I was shocked by what I saw.

“Uhmm, mama Mike.. good evening.. afternoon I mean”

“What of goodnight.. mtcheew” she asked sarcastically

“Police this is the murderer, arrest him” the officers immediately handcuffed me

“Wey una dey carry my son go” my mom asked

“You dey blind or deaf when your son kill my Mike?”

“But..” words try to come out of my mother’s mouth

“Arrest him officer” mam Mike said again

I began to cry for help, even my mom couldn’t do anything.

Mama nkechi just stood there laughing at me.

I can’t believe I’m going to prison early

At the station ?

Everywhere was untidy.

Some hardened criminals were dragged forcefully into the cell

“See, nah for here people like you go live. Shebi you no dey hear word” an officer told me bluntly

“Officer I want him to be put in the best cell, you know what I mean” mama Mike winked at me

“Dad can you explain how it happened?” I asked with curiosity
