I didn’t know that I was going to get this nanny job so fast… Two days after I rebuffed madam Paprika, Regina came back from work telling me she had gotten me the nanny gig and I was to start effectively tomorrow…

I was so excited.. Finally, there’s work to do and money to get for Andy’s treatment… So the next day, I got ready and went to the house I am supposed to start working.

When I arrived there, I was amazed how big and lovely the house was.. Whoever that was living here is definitely richer than the rich… Honestly.

As I was about to get in, I was halted by the gateman, who was busy looking at me as if I was some kind of plague.

Benedict ➡ Yes? What are you doing here?

Linda ➡ uhm, I’m here to work.. My name is Linda, the new nanny!

.

Benedict ➡ Really? Well… I wasn’t told there was going to be a nanny… Clearly you must be mistaken.

Linda ➡ Look fool, I don’t have time to waste.. Why don’t you ask your employer inside that the new nanny is here waiting?

Benedict ➡ Look at you… Telling me what to do? Who do you think you are? From the way you’re dressing I could tell you’re some ghetto b*tch.

Linda ➡ Well that’s too bad cause from the looks of it your mother is a ghetto b*tch as well.

Benedict ➡ (angry) WHAT!? HOW DARE YOU…….

While the Gateman was busy beating around the bush, Some lady came out of the house laughing as she walked towards us, as she got close, The fool kept quiet.

Cecilia ➡ (giggling) Benedict! What’s going on here?

.

Benedict ➡ Madam, this b*tch here claims she’s here to work as a nanny, she’s probably one of Tony’s fans trying to sneak into the house.

Cecilia ➡ Obviously… What’s your name?

Linda ➡ My name’s Linda…

.

Cecilia ➡ Oh… So you’re Linda? Please come in… Benedict open the gate.

Benedict ➡ But you can’t…

.

Cecilia ➡ Shut up and open the gate, fool.

The idiot opened the gate as he grumbled, After that, I walked in and pulled a tongue at him making him twitch in anger… The lady lead me into the house after that…

As we got in, She offered me a sit and went inside the room… Man.. This house is stuffy with riches.. Everywhere was well furnished and the things inside the house looked expensive.. As I was looking around the house, The lady returned with some drinks and offered me one.

Cecilia ➡ Here… You must be thirsty.

Linda ➡ Thank you…

Cecilia ➡ I see you had a little spat with Benedict..

Linda ➡ You saw the whole thing? How?

Cecilia ➡ Through the CCTV cameras.. And it was fun to watch…

Linda ➡ Sorry, you had to see that.. The guy is just a pompous fool.

Cecilia ➡ No need for you to apologize.. He deserved what he got.. Regina was right about you.. She told me everything about you..

Linda ➡ Everything?

Cecilia ➡ Everything.. Including your former job and your brother’s case.. I’m sorry..

Linda ➡ So does that affect my…

Cecilia ➡ No.. No.. I’m just saying I’m amazed that you went through that because of your brother.. Not everyone can do that considering how people are nowadays. But let’s put that behind us.. Come let me show you around the house.

Linda ➡ Okay..

The lady showed me around the house, It was exciting walking around such a huge place.. It was like a mansion.. There were fifty rooms, two swimming pools, three garages, a spa room, a home theater and a game room.. These people sure know how to live life.. I like people who know how to spend and enjoy money..

After that, I was shown to my own quarters which was inside the house.. The room was big enough to contain all the rooms in Regina’s house and to make things even interesting, I had my own wardrobe and a toilet.. This was all too good to be true.

Cecilia ➡ Okay Linda.. Here’s your room.. Or rather this is where you’ll be staying..

Linda ➡ Thank you for offering me this job.. I won’t let you down.

Cecilia ➡ I know you won’t… Your job is to clean the house and wash clothes and serve dishes only.. We have our own special cook, one of the best chefs in Nigeria. And make sure you dress decently no tight skimpy clothes..

Linda ➡ Sure.. Uh.. Sorry I never get to know your name.

Cecilia ➡ My name is Cecilia. But you can call me miss. Richards..

.

Linda ➡ Okay Miss. Richards.

.

Cecilia ➡ Okay then.. I’ll be going.. You can start arranging your things now.

Cecilia left leaving me alone in this gigantic room, I didn’t know when I jumped and shouted in excitement… For the first time in my life.. This was the best bedroom I’ve ever been in.. I just wished Andy could join me here as well… Well, I thank God for giving me this job, and I’ll do whatever I can to do my job.

Days passed after I started this nanny gig and I soon got a hang of it and I got used to the house as well.. Thanks to the modern electrical appliances, everything was so easy, But I preferred the good old fashioned way of doing house cleaning.. It took some time for me to understand the washing machines and vacuum cleaner..

Turns out, There was nobody in the house, except for me, Benedict and the house chauffeur named Chris.. The so called house cook, was an arrogant b*stard like benedict, He never for once spoke to me and so did I, after he was done preparing the meals, he’d leave the house at once.. Saying he had other things to do.

There was nobody I could talk to.. Benedict was still biffing with me and Chris was an introvert and a music lover and Cecilia was rarely In the house, she was always busy and traveling around places.

So one Friday afternoon, I was bored and lonely, Not even the 3D flat screen was enough to entertain me, so I went out to talk to Chris.

As I got to his place, I noticed he was washing the limo, while listening to one nice music.

Linda ➡ Hey.. Chris.

.

Chris ➡ Hey.. Linda?

.

Linda ➡ How far? Anything new?

.

Chris ➡ No.. You?

.

Linda ➡ No.. Nothing much.. Are you going out tonight?

.

Chris ➡ Yeah.. I’ll be picking Tony at the airport!

.

Linda ➡ Tony.. Who’s tony?

.

Chris ➡ Cecilia’s brother.. This is his house.. He’s a famous actor.. Everyone knows him

.

Linda ➡ No.. Not me.. I don’t.

.

Chris ➡ You can’t be serious? You don’t know him?

.

Linda ➡ I don’t.. What’s the big deal about him anyway?

.

Chris ➡ Let me show you his picture.. Maybe you’ll know him when you see him.

Chris brought out his phone showed me a picture of Cecilia’s brother… To be honest.. I don’t know him.. Besides I haven’t watched too many TV through out my life.. But I have to say thought the guy is hot.. But from the way, he looks, he’s the kind of guy that likes to show off.

Linda ➡ Sorry! I don’t know him.

Chris ➡ Unbelievable.. I’m shocked to hear that you don’t know him.. I could swear every girl knows of tony..

Linda ➡ well, looks like he’s not as popular as he thinks.. I’ll be going back inside now.

Chris ➡ Okay.. See you later..

I walked into the house and went back straight to my room.. Since there was nothing for me to do.. I decided to call Regina.. It took a while before she answered my call.

Regina ➡ Linda baby.. How far? How’s the new job?

.

Linda ➡ Its fine o.. But honestly it’s boring.. This house is too big and there’s nobody around to talk to. I’m tired of looking at the walls.

Regina ➡ So have you met Mr. Handsome?

.

Linda ➡ Who?

.

Regina ➡ Cecilia’s brother now?

.

Linda ➡ No I haven’t.

.

Regina ➡ Seriously you haven’t?

.

Linda ➡ No I haven’t.. I heard he’s coming back tonight.

.

Regina ➡ For real? Just be careful o.. The guy Is a Casanova, seeing the way you’re sexually attractive, he’ll try to get between your legs.

Linda ➡ And I’ll just stay and allow him abi?

Regina ➡ If he wants.. Yes!

.

Linda ➡ No.. I won’t allow that.. Besides if Cecilia knows that I slept with her brother.. I’ll lose this job.. Sorry o.. I can’t do that.

Regina ➡ Hmm, okay o.. But don’t do anything aggressive o.. Just try to calm down..

Linda ➡ You talk too much Regina.. See you later.. I’ll come to the house tomorrow.

Regina ➡ Sure, I’ll be expecting you.

After that, Regina ended the call but before I could lie down, my phone rang again and it was from Cecilia.. I wonder what she wants.

Linda ➡ Afternoon Mrs. Richards!

Cecilia ➡ Afternoon Linda… There’s something I want you to do for me!

.

Linda ➡ Okay? What is it?

.

Cecilia ➡ Can you spend the weekend at our house.. My brother will return today and he’s liable to throw a party, I want you to be around clean the house.

.

Linda ➡ Okay.. Sure then..

.

After that, I ended the call… Just when I was planning to see Regina… Oh well.. Looks like I’ll be having a busy weekend.. I’d better go check if everything is in order before Cecilia and her brother return.

Later that Evening, Cecilia was in the house together with me, she was in the parlor chatting on her IPhone (I don’t know which version) and drinking some juice.. I on the other hand was serving food on the dinning table.. Cecilia made sure everything was in check before her brother returned..

As soon as I was done serving.. The door bell rang, Cecilia quickly went and opened the door.. There was some luggage at the front door and she asked me to take them to her brother’s room.

The luggage were quite heavy but I managed and took them upstairs to his room, as soon as I dropped them inside, I made my way downstairs to see if there was any more luggage.

Immediately I reached downstairs, I came face to face with the infamous Tony. God.. He was even more charming in person and he’s definitely a hunk, quite tall and athletic,… As our eyes met.. His mouth dropped as if he had seen me before.. His eyes was full with shock and amazement.. He began to look at me from head to toe measuring me from every angle.. To be honest.. This guy is weird.

I couldn’t say anything but keep my eyes away from him I didn’t want to cause any commotion.

Linda ➡ Uhm… Welcome back, Tony.. I mean, sir..

.

Tony ➡ Yes.. I.. Are you working here?

.

Linda ➡ Uhm.. Yes.. I’m the new maid.. My name is Linda..

.

Tony ➡ Linda huh? What a lovely name for a beautiful lady..

.

God.. Is this guy trying to put me in trouble.. Even in here, he’s trying to make a move on me… Before anything strange could happen Cecilia interrupted us..

Cecilia ➡ Tony.. I see you’ve met our new maid.. Her name is Linda..

.

Tony ➡ I know.. We’ve introduced ourselves… So she’s the new maid?

.

Cecilia ➡ Yes… Now you can go and rest.. Linda..

.

Linda ➡ Yes ma?

.

Cecilia ➡ isn’t there something you should be doing now?

Linda ➡ Oh yes.. I’m sorry.. I’ll be going now.

God… I hope this guy won’t make things difficult for me.. All I have to do is keep a safe distance away from him.
