Episode 12

….Finally, my case will be resolve and i can go back to studying well again. I can now focus on myself, my future, my life. I hope the Vice-Chancellor will be able to settle my case, i hope he will bail me out. God, if not for you, i wonder what would have been of me…..

We arrived at the Vice-Chancellor office with David’s Uncle there, he ushered us in, told us to have a seat, he seems a nice man, i just hope i won’t be disappointed today”

Vice-Chancellor: “So my dear, what is your name and what is your course of discipline here?”

Queen: “Thank you sir…Sir, my names are Queen Chioma Olisa and i am in Mass Communication department, 100 level”

Vice-Chancellor: “Very well. In order not to beat around the bush, i have heard the whole story from Mr Nwachukwu here, I respect Mr Nwachukwu because he is a man of integrity, a good man and a wise man as well. I have decided that as the head of this University, i will look into the matter at hand and find a solution to it. Quickly, will you be able to identify those girls and their faces as well?”

Queen: “Yes sir but just few of them. Like for instance i know one miss Tonia and another called T-Baby…Miss Tonia is in Business Adminstration department but i don’t really know much about T-Baby”

Vice-Chancellor: “Hmmm, T-Baby…what kind of name is that, what are these students turning themselves into”

Mr Nwachukwu: “I do wonder at times, the country is turning into something else….Our youths brings nothing but disgrace, disappointment and failure. There is nothing good to write about them”

Vice-Chancellor: “Hmmmm….I know what to do now”

(Quickly he reached for his Office telephone and made a call)

Vice-Chancellor: “Hello, is this the Chief security! Okay, meet me in my office right now, good”….Then he continues….”He will be here soon”

== 30 minutes later ==

Chief Security: “Sir, i will need Miss Queen to come along with me so that we can fish out those girls”

Vice-Chancellor: “My dear, will you go with him?”
(I stared at David, confused, and perhaps afraid of the outcome of going out with the Chief Security)

David: “Sir….If you don’t mind i will like to go with her too”

Vice-Chancellor: “Queen…What do you think?”

Queen: “Yes sir, i prefer he comes with me as well”

Vice-Chancellor: “Very well then. Chief security, do your best and get me a good report. I will be waiting for you”

Chief Security: “Okay Sir….i won’t fail you sir. We shall be on our way now”

Mr Nwachukwu: “Thank you very much
Vice-Chancellor, i don’t know what i would have done without you”

Vice-Chancellor: “My pleasure Mr Nwachukwu. Take care and bye”

Mr Nwachukwu: “Take care sir”
(We all left the VC officer and heading to our next destination….hoping to bring them(White Angels) to book)

== An hour later ==

Tonia: “So its you Queen…you brought police to my hostel, why? What crime have i committed?”

Mr Nwachukwu: “My friend will you keep shut! I am a Senior Lecturer here in this Campus and i must make sure that you are rusticated from this school….Nonse
nse”

Chief Security: “Miss Queen….is she among them?”

Queen: “Yes sir…she is among them. She is the Tonia that i have been talking about”

Chief Security: “Okay….Miss Tonia am afraid that you will have to go with me”

Tonia: “Go with you…how? Please i don’t know her and i have no idea what you are talking about, believe me i don’t know her”

Mr Nwachukwu: “Please take her away, we are wasting time here’

Chief Security: “Oya Madam follow me and don’t try to run away or else you will compliment matters”

Tonia: “Very well sir…i will not run but please can i call someone?”

Chief Security: “No you can’t call anyone…when we get to my office, you are free to call anyone but for now, you will do as i say…Oya, lets go”

Tonia: “You will regret this Queen. I swear you will regret this”

Mr Nwachukwu: “You can’t do more than a dead rat…please take her away”

(They took Tonia to the security office, torture and threaten her….then she opened up and gave us the location of T-Baby and some of the White Angels location. After few hours, we were able to get hold of T-Baby and few members, it was then that i learnt that T-Baby was the head of the White Angels Confraternity and a Final year student)

==Few minutes later==

Vice-Chancellor: “Good Job Mr chief security…These are the culprits i guess?”

Chief security: “Yes sir but not all. Few had escaped but my boys are trailing the remaining in the campus”

Vice-Chancellor: “Good…Who is T-Baby here and who is what her name again; Tonia…Signify by raising up your hands”
(They both raised their hands up)

Vice-Chancellor: “Good, very Good….you girls are a disgrace to the University, threatening a fellow student like you. You will all bear the consequences. Chief Security, call the DPO and tell him to send his boys to come and take these fools away”

Chief Security: “Yes sir….will do that sir”

Vice-Chancellor: “Good….Erm, Miss Queen, you can now go home, the matter will be handle properly. Be rest assure that no harm will come to you. I will send for you later”

Queen: “Thank you sir….My God will surely reward you sir”

Vice-Chancellor: “Amen my daughter and you too”

Mr Nwachukwu: “Once again thank you sir..you have really been of help to us. Alright, David, Queen, head into my car let me drop you guys”

David: “Okay Uncle, Queen, lets go then”

Queen: “Alright”
