Queen: “Its me Queen! Can i come in please?”

Aunty Grace: “Come in”

Queen: “Thank you ma”
( I went into her room)
Queen: “Erm, Aunty, there is something that i want to tell you”

Aunty Grace: “Split it out”

Queen: “Okay. Thank you ma. (Paused for a while)…..First of all, i want to thank you for your care and hospitality. Who knows what would have become of me if not for you. I want you to know that i meant no harm on you and God is my living witness. I couldn’t sleep all night, i was heart broken, there is no point trying to defend myself to you cos i can clearly see that your mind is made up already. But i want you to know that i would never do anything to hurt you, i have always hold you in high esteem. (Heave a sigh)….I will be going to school this evening although our holiday is not over yet, but i guess i will leave. Thank you for everything that you have been doing for me, may the good lord who i serve reward you. Bye Aunty”

Aunty Grace: “Is that all?”

Queen: “Yes Aunty”

Aunty Grace: “Good, can you now leave my room?”

Queen: “Yes Aunty”

Aunty Grace: “Don’t ever call me Aunty, i am not your Aunty anymore. Do i make myself clear?”

Queen: (Crying)….”Ye, yes”

….I am finished, what do i do now? Who will pay my school fees now, who will buy handouts for me,who will feed me here, oh Lord, i have no one to go to, no relatives, no family, except my poor parent. Haa, the suffering is too much, i can’t bear it anymore, my life has ended already. I am now a total waste, my dreams has been shattered. God, what do i do now, how do i cope in this school, life, this is not what i bargain for, this is not what i hoped for, this is not what i planned for the future but now everything is gone…my happiness, my joy, i wish i could just die now. I have always try to be good, to serve God with all my heart but this is what i get in return. Disgrace- Life!!! I will have to leave this school and start afresh again. No, i can’t leave this school, this is my last chance to become something bigger in life, i can’t just leave this school, i can’t run away from my dreams… I will have to find the means to survive; What will i do to fetch fast money, (Pondering)…Hmmn, what if i become a CALL GIRL, they make fast cash but i guess i will have to lose my VIRGINITY all for nothing. God, please direct me…. Just then i saw someone standing in front of me, Oh God, not again…..

Queen: “What again! What do you want from me?”

Tonia: “You are back from holiday so early…i hope all is well”

Queen: “All is well. Now leave my presence”

Tonia: “You look worried…tell me, did anything happened?” She said showing concern….You know you can tell me anything, please let me help you”

Queen: “I don’t need your help..besides, why should i trust you after our last encounter”

Tonia: “I am not asking you to trust me, i am only asking you to share your problems with me”

Queen: (Thought within; What if she really wants to help me, No! I don’t trust her. She is a bad person, or maybe she has change, maybe she is now a better person now, she might be pretending who knows…oh God)

Tonia: “Look at the tears in your eyes…please let me be of help to you, please?”

Queen: (Wiped my tears)….”Alright i will tell you my problem but mind you that i don’t trust you. Follow me to my room”

Tonia: “Alright”

Tonia: “This is so bad, Gosh, people can be this wicked. That Amara of a girl deserves to be taught a lesson that she wont forget in a hurry. Take heart friend, don’t lose hope. All will be well okay”

Queen: “Thanks a lot Tonia. I really appreciate your concern towards me”

Tonia: “My pleasure…One more thing, for the fact that because of you, i am still in this school and in order to show my gratitude, i promise to pay your school fees and other relevant things until i leave this school.. That is the least that i can do for you”

Queen: “For real?”

Tonia: “Yes….for real”
(I rushed over to her and hugged her, i was happy and emotional at the same time; Now i know why one good turn deserves another)

Queen: (Crying)….”Thank you very much Tonia, my God will surely bless you, you have really save my life, thanks you so so much” I said, still hugging her

Tonia: “Its alright friend….its the least that i can do for you. If you need anything, please do not hesitate to let me know, okay”
(We released ourselves from the embrace)

Queen: “Okay i will. Thank you Tonia. As from today, i consider you my sister, my family..you are no longer my friend, you are more than a friend to me now”

Tonia: “Oh…am blushing”
(We both laughed together)

Tonia: “Now i am happy that there is a smile on your face”

Queen: “Yes my dear, you can say that again”

Tonia: “I will be going now…see you tonight dear”

Queen: “Okay….i will be waiting my friend, oh sorry i mean sister” I said, displaying a big smile on my face

Tonia: “Alright…take care and bye”

Queen: “Bye…don’t stay long”

Tonia: “Okay”…..

…Lord, i thank you so much for the helper that you sent to me, only you can do such a miracle, only you Jehovah….Initially i had given up already and decided to fornicate in order to raise money for myself but here i am, thanking you for this great testimony. Now thanks to you lord, i still remain a VIRGIN…
