Later that same day evening, Fred returned back from the office and the whole house was quiet, ”why is this whole house quiet? does it means there is no one in this house! darling Jessy am back”, Fred called heading straight to his room but couldn’t find Jessica ”jessy darling am back where are u? Fred called again and opened the door to the bathroom but still couldn’t find her,

”where have she has gone to? Jessy darling where are u am back”, Fred said walking out of the room when he noticed the shower started running, so with fear he turned back and was surprised to see Jessica coming out of the room almost naked and water dripping down from her body ”jessy!! Jessy! where ar…”, short of words ”i heard u calling my name,so I hide at the back of the bathroom door just to scare u a little”, Jessica said coming towards him

”but..but I checked thoroughly at the bathroom but couldn’t find u! wat kind of game are u playing? Fred asked confusedly, looking around the room ”shhhhhh! am sorry! let me calm ur nerves down”, Jessica said,dropped down his briefcase and started touching him romantically

”i want to give u a doggy style, I swear u will love it! come on the bed baby”, Jessica said drawing Fred on his tie ”but darling Jessy! pls don’t try this kind of game u did today, u almost scared the daylight out of me”, Fred said immediately they lied on the bed

”but I said am sorry! so sorry honey I promise it won’t repeat itself again! promise”, Jessica said and was about kissing Fred when Fred jumped up from the bed ”darling Jessy pls I will be right back, let me go check up on my brother, this one I haven’t heard his voice,or heard him reading his bible as usual! pls am coming”, Fred said, pecked her on the forehead and left the room heading to Emma’s room, on getting there, he was surprised to meet Emma lying unconscious on the floor with the whole ground filled with blood, fear gripped over him as he rushed to Emma and started shaking and calling his name but got no response, so he checked his heartbeat, but luckily for him, Emma was still breathing, so he rushed out of the room and came back with his car key,as he was about to carry Emma, the door flunged opened and Jessica walked in putting on a bombershort and a crock top

”wat is going on here? wat happened to Emma? she asked pretending not to know ”i should be the one asking u that Jessica because u and my younger brother was the only one at home before I left to the office this morning! so wat happened to him? Fred asked,carried Emma and put on his shoulder

”how am I supposed to know? I have been in the room since u left to the office”, Jessica lied ”am off to the hospital, just look after the house”, Fred said and walked away with Emma on his shoulder.

”Doctor pls wat exactly is wrong with my brother? Fred asked the doctor who just came out from the theater ”hmmmm!! from wat I checked on him, ur brother was bitten by a snake and the poison has spread all over his body! but wat surprises me is that he is still breathing fine despise the snake poison that has spread in his body! that is a miracle”, the doctor said

”my younger brother was bitten by a snake? but how come? oh God!! but doctor I hope he will be fine? Fred panicked ”yes!! by God grace he will be fine but wat he needs now is blood! he has loose alots of blood! u will have to bring fifty thousand naira so we can get him two tanks of blood because he has loosed so much blood”, the doctor said ”ok no problem doctor! pls just makes sure my brother is sounds again after taking the blood, because I can’t bear to loose him”, Fred said

”sure! he will be fine, he is a strong guy! follow me to my office so u can make the payment we will use to get him the blood”, the doctor said and walked away with Fred following behind.

Five days later, Emma woke up from the hospital bed and look around, but though he has regain himself ”oh my God wat am I doing in a hospital and why is my leg bandaged? wat happened to me? Emma asked no one in particular, just then the door flunged opened and Fred walked in ”oh u are awake already? I hope u are feeling better now? Fred asked and sat beside Emma on the bed ”bro wat happened to me? why am I at the hospital and why is my leg bandaged? Emma asked confusedly

”are u kidding me? u really don’t know wat happened to u? Fred asked ”if I knew I wouldn’t have been asking? Emma replied ”hmmmm!! anyway the doctor said u was bitten by a snake! but how come the snake? Fred asked ”i was bitten by a snake? me? anyway I don’t know, I can’t remember anything”, Emma said looking on space trying to recall but couldn’t get anything ”hmmm!! well the important thing is that u are ok again! I really don’t know wat is still delaying this Jessica of a girl”, Fred said ”jessica? who is she? Emma asked

”emma wat is wrong with u? don’t u know Jessica the girl that has been living with us? I asked her to get u snacks and juice at the shop opposite the hospital, I wonder wat is still delaying her? Fred said ”i don’t remember any Jessica living with us! anyway let her come so I can see her face”, Emma said

”u are such a pain on the neck”, Fred said jokingly, just then the door flunged opened and Jessica walked in holding a white fancy nylon, immediately Emma saw her,all wat happened to him started playing on his head as he started pointing at Jessica ”emma wat is it? why are u pointing at Jessica? Fred asked confusedly ”she!! she is a snake! a very big snake! she is responsible for my predicament”, Emma cried still pointing at Jessica.
