Anita stuttered into the firm deciding to at least see her daughter. She got to the office, took a deep breath before making a move to enter. As she’s about to open the door, the door opened and she met the starry eyes of her daughter about to leave the office.

Adesewa’s eyes turned cold as she saw her mum, the last person she’s expecting to see on earth, she was jex leaving to go and sign some files when she met her at her doorstep. She back-walked if thts an English word into her office partly because she’s shocked or maybe she leaving the way for her to come in, she can’t tell. She was stopped when her ass hit a chair. She got a grip on her chair, went to sit on a chair and offered her mum a chair.

The atmosphere in the room could be cut with a knife, Anita has been sitting awkwardly for more than 10 mins, looking at her daughter, sighing, looking down interchangeably.

“Ee…..Aar….Eem” Adesewa tried to say but word got stucked in her throat almost 15 minutes of sitting down saying noting.

“I’m sorry for everything’ Anita hear herself say

“I’m sure your father has told you everything, I’m so ashamed of myself, I know I’m not worthy of been called your mother, I’ll understand if you chase me out of your office, I just want to tell you how sorry I am for everything, I regretted everything I’ve done without you in it, I regretted the path of life I chose, I can’t forgive myself for the abomination I committed that led to me leaving you, I’m just sorry for everything, hope you can find a space in you to forgive me.” she said.

Adesewa was petrified on hearing her mother talk, she was overridden by emotions, she left her body on the chair and her soul left her, but her body stood up, caught up with her soul and they both walked around the table, got to her mum with teary eyes, and hugged her
