“This is Paul”

“Can you tell me which Paul I’m speaking with please” she said

“Ileseanmi Paul”

Her heart missed a beat, she now know all her deeds are all bent on ruining her. She has felt so relieved, a feeling of warmth and happiness she has never felt before has come over her since the day she left her daughter’s office, she has become so happy to at least have the forgiveness of her daughter but now this again.

“Do you mean…Paul” she stuttered

“Yes, I mean…Paul” The caller said with alacrity

“How are you Paul?”

“Leave the formalities out first, Where is my daughter?”

Adesewa has been so happy over the week, she felt like the Zuma rock on her head has been removed, she was so buoyant, so lively so much that people are wondering what came over her. Ever since her mum came, they’ve been speaking on phone every minute like lovers trying to catch up with what they have missed in each other’s life. Adesewa was still in limbo over one thing, how to tell her dad about her new found affection for her mum.

Niphemi was so happy to see his once lively girlfriend livelier, but he was sad when he missed his ‘mother in law’ Again.

Niphemi was partly relieved and also shocked when the secretary of his MD told him the MD has travelled out and her husband will resume duty in her stead the following week.

He updated his friend who told him to relax and try and get her number hust to get trough to her. “I’ll do that next week, when I meet her husband” he said inwardly, “but how will I tell him I want to collect the number of his wife?”
