Paul has been trying to get across to Anita for the past two days, yet no response or atimes not reachable. Maybe its time he took things into his hands. He picked up his phone.

Anita couldn’t bring herself to answer any of Paul’s numerous calls or messages, she now knows her life has already ended, she’s knows she’s spending the epilogue.

She has become leaner, the opposite of herself, if she should hide the truth from sewa and Paul takes things into his own hands, she’s finished. If she should tell sewa the truth, there taut developing string of emotion will snap cut. She has everything to lose either way, to her the definition of everything is Adesewa.

She either do nothing and be sunken into destitute till she disappears or she puts up a fight and salvage as much as she can of her miserable not-worth-living life. She decided to go for the latter.

She stood up with renewed energy

I always wonder why companies in Hollywood movies always have whispers flying around. Now I know why, the whole company has known or rather have their own version of her relationship with Anita. Stares and pointy fingers are thrown around her whenever she pass but she doesn’t pay attention to them because she is the happiest lady in the world, she just found her mother.

She has just left Niphemi’s office to tell him about her mum when his secretary detained her.

“Please ma, I’ve got a confession and something to tell you, but I can’t say it here, can I follow you to your office” she had said like its a memorized memory verse, and also looking around gingerly once in a while like a thief who doesn’t want to be caught ‘in the act’.

Adesewa shrugged and rolled to her office with the secretary at her heels.

“Dear, you won’t believe my mum is the contractor” Adesewa had said when she nestled into his office this afternoon. She was full of life and so happy. He had tried to hide his shock, he had come up with a flimzy excuse just for her to leave his office. Now he really knows what is at stake and what he risk losing.
