Seeking Truth

Episode 14

She was already hurrying me as she declared how she wanted me to meet this guy who she had told about me some time ago! I could already smell ‘hook up’ tendencies in the air, but then what was exactly wrong with giving the guy a try? So I smiled and told her I would like to meet the guy given who she explained he was – an aspiring politician. The problem though, had to be Chiboy. But this was where I had no option but to leave him to himself. I still left him at the corner where I was still sure I could have my eyes on him. While that seemed like I was being over-protective, I was just making sure he was going to return to his folks in full piece. The dude I was introduced to moreover, was quite the ‘nice on first impression’ type. He was in his early 40’s and was still single – more like a couple of failed relationships – and was coming out again after a long break. We quite instantly clicked and in a matter of moments, we were giving a dance a try.
Chiboy on his part watched on from where he was seated. I didn’t exactly expect him to have any interest in what I was doing with the new ‘acquaintance’. But he seemed very interested, even though there was an air of discomfort about how he watched us. Was he being jealous of the dude? Was he feeling insecure about my meeting the guy? I couldn’t exactly tell even as his rather haunting stare increased at each passing time! The ‘new guy’, who I had now known to be Cyril by name, wasn’t a bad dancer to start with. He was confident with his moves and you could tell he was likely the romantic sort as the slow song in the air progressed further. He had his hands at the right places, alternating his placing them on my back with placing them on my arm. Quite outstanding for something not so customary in our clime. He was impressive by my own judgment, and that coupled with his mesmerizingly intoxicating cologne and one could see why I was quite blown away in half an hour or so! Outright embarrassment followed though, when I mysteriously began feeling a bit of sogginess between my legs in about no time! Had he got me wet already?! I couldn’t believe my head!
Things did take a different (or maybe more feisty) stretch when the music in the air suddenly changed! It wasn’t blues anymore but one of Flavour’s rather ‘dirty’ tracks – ‘p@nty No na Iro’! The entire compound went up in flames as everybody began switching into more vigorous dance moves while echoing the song as loud as they could!

Cyril was in for the step up too and was already looking like he wouldn’t hold back anything in humping his front side into my bum at every swirl! He was already looking like the boldest man I had ever met, and he wasn’t hiding that even on our first ever meeting! That anyway, was very much the last thing I wanted at that moment given how rapidly my inner temperature was rising! I couldn’t deny it anymore, I was apparently horny and the way my Tips poked my lacey bra did little to conceal that!

I was aware of the fact that alcohol was now available for anyone who cared, but getting tipsy at this very point, was only going to spell disaster; so I showed no interest! My attention was also gradually waning from Chiboy who hadn’t still stopped looking at me for all it was worth. I wouldn’t be surprised if he had already noticed the near-air of edginess around me as I struggled to contain my increasing arousal. Unfortunately, I was still within this ill-fated struggle, when Bukky, with a bottle of beer in hand, slipped into the seat beside Chiboy! I was doomed!
For a good 2 minutes, I was embroiled in another struggle on what exactly to do next! Not far from me, I had Bukky with her left hand across Chiboy’s shoulders while the two seemed to be enjoying a new conversation she had obviously just initiated. And at the same time I had my own hands around Cyril’s shoulders while his, wrapped around my waist! I didn’t need a sorcerer to tell me what Bukky was likely up to already and she needed to be stopped right away. But then, not with Cyril’s arms around my hip! He was still lost in the moment and it was only going to turn out so very embarrassing if I suddenly asked him to halt for a moment while I dealt with an evidently tipsy Bukky! It even only got worse when his hand slid down to my right butt0ckz and despite how outrageous that obviously was, I somehow in some way, didn’t react at all! I could tell my body needed the touch, even if my head was blatantly opposing it! I didn’t even know when one of my hands slid down to his chest and as soon as I casually ran a palm across the suspiciously hairy torso, he responded by grabbing my butt0ckz so firmly! I gave off an audible gasp! And my knee went weak instantly! “Was I allowing this guy too much space already?” I seemed to hear my head ask even as my eyes quickly searched and located Chiboy! He wasn’t seated at his previous seat anymore but instead was now standing at another corner with Bukky at his side! I was still trying to figure out what Bukky was exactly doing with her mouth so close to the boy’s face when I felt Cyril slightly attempt to lift a side of my short gown! And that had to be it! He had just overstepped his allowed boundary!
“I should be going now Cyril!” I heard my mouth bluff in near-outrage. “Maybe we continue next time…”
“What?!” was all he could say as he obviously struggled to understand how my mood so suddenly switched around
“Yea…next time bro” I wasn’t even giving him room to ask further questions as I began turning to head towards Chiboy’s location
“But wait honey…wait please…”
I wasn’t waiting. I was nearly sprinting, as I observed Bukky whispering something into Chiboy’s right ear. It was only going to get worse if I didn’t get there soon!
“Daniela?…” he still was calling. Too bad I couldn’t continue with him. Bukky’s palaver was likely a second reason too.
“Get my number from Bukky please…” was all I managed to reply, ignoring the sheer insult that went with that. By the time I would reach the two unmatched ‘lovers’ Bukky was already looking up at me and smiling!
“Well, madam…” I began just as soon as I reached them. “I think we should be going now. I’ve quite graced your party and thanks for the fun”
“You are welcome ma…” she replied, ignoring the obvious sarcasm and probably adding hers with the ‘ma’ tag!
I didn’t seem to care as I signaled Chiboy to follow me as I headed out of the venue. Though, I didn’t fail to notice Chiboy exchange final compliments with her. There was definitely an established connection between them, and I needed to know all about it.
As we drove home, that was what occupied my head – what had possibly gone on between the two of them while I was dancing! Had she already scheduled a meeting with him or something? That was going to be too far-fetched given that it was unlikely going to happen under my nose, but then this is Bukky we are talking about here and there is absolutely nothing she can’t do! I had to ask him to be sure and if I ever got a worrying answer, then I’d have to follow it up right away! Surprisingly, Chiboy barely said anything useful when I asked him.
“Nothing serious Auntie…nothing” was his inept response when I asked for a second time
“Nothing? And I saw her whispering something into your ear?” I was being quite careful not to let some noticeable anger overtake me. I even had to grin while I spoke
“Nothing ma…she just asked if I was having fun and I said yes”
I instantly knew he was lying as soon as he said it. I instantly knew. It felt so bad that he wasn’t saying much even though I still wished I could know more. But then, I couldn’t press any further!
