Mike : Fine, I appreciate your care but I still don’t support your idea. You’re just nineteen, not done with education, how can you think of pregnancy at this stage of your life? Even I myself is not ready to be a father. If you get pregnant now, what then happens to your future? What if I have a change of heart someday?

Ella : A change of heart?

Mike : Yes. What if tomorrow I fall in love with another person which is not you? What if I stop loving you someday?

Ella : That can never happen? You’re even going through a lot just because of me

Mike : Feelings change Ella, I love you now and hope to love you forever but what if one day, my heart stopped beating for you? feelings is not something we can control, I can be mad over you today and mad over another woman tommorow. Some guys actually break Girls’ heart not because they wanted to, there was once a time when they thought they had found the right one and would never let go, boom! Another woman comes out from nowhere and takes over their heart, then they end up being a bad omen to the first woman they used to love. Did you not even think of consequences? Did you forget of tomorrow? How can you be so foolish?

Why did she turn a monster overnight?

Mike : Exactly! Mom started all this when she realized that I love you and she got to realize it after the truth of my birth? Mike : I don’t know oh but I am just saying what if? If she’s testing us now and you get pregnant, then her fears will become true. We will then fail her test. She will never approve of our relationship and that’s not good enough. Every relationship needs a motherly blessing and mind you, she’s my mother as well as yours.
