GRACE

” Gina ” I muttered again as I went after her she’d also stood up and put her mask back on as she walked towards the exit .

” Wait ” I called after her ….

” Gina ‘ I called as we got out and she turned towards me with a gun pointed at me .

” Nice to finally meet you in person Grace ! She said removing her mask and I su-ck ed under my breath .

” It’s not so nice to finally see you Gina ,how could you ? I can’t believe you know me and I totally have no idea you existed until I was kidnapped to be your replacement ” I spat Angrily .

” My replacement huh ? Didn’t your precious Natalie tell you who I am ? She asked and I looked at her confused as hell .

“Nat ? what has she got to do with this mess ? ” I asked immediately .

I wonder what dirty games this Gina is trying to play on me ?

” I’m not here to answer your stupid questions Grace ” she said walking backwards.

” GINA ! You can’t leave just go tell M@$$imo the truth . I can’t continue to stay here when you’re the one they want , you’re ruining my life ! I said loosing it already .

“Ruining your life huh ? C’mon grace , now don’t pretend you don’t like the Don , just endure all of this ….for the main time …” She said and I glared daggers at her .

” You’re insane ! I’m not a wh*re and I refuse to stay with the Don when I’m not you ! I Fired at her and she smirked .

‘” You’re going to keep being me untill ….” She trailed and We heard gunshots .

” Sh*t ” she cursed as she moved backwards.

” Grace ! I heard M@$$imo’s voice as he ran towards me ….he held me and pulled me into his arms .

” Who was that ? What are you doing out here alone ! He kept asking whilst checking if I was okay .

I pulled myself from his arms whilst staring at where she’d vanished into thin air .

” Grace ” Sergio called and I looked at him speechlessly.

” Girl we where looking for you everywhere what happened to you ? Yvonne asked and I just walked in front .

I was already feeling cold in the pit of my stomach after my encounter with Gina .

What did Gina mean by Natalie being a pa-rt of all of this ? I won’t be able to survive another betrayal .

Did Natalie know something about Gina ? Or the Don ? Was that the reason she was trying to get me into agreeing to be M@$$imo’s woman ?

Throughout our ride to the De LUCA mansion I refused to talk to anyone ..

I just want to see Natalie and ask her what she knew about Gina again .

Immediately we got to the mansion Yvonne kizzed my cheek lovingly as she left with Dimitri .

” Good night ! Sergio said as he walked away with kristov .

” Let’s go upstairs ” M@$$imo said and I just ignored him again .

” What’s going on in your head grace ? He asked and I looked away.

” I saw Gina tonight ” I said and he froze .

” Wh…at do you mean by you saw Gina ! He asked frowning.

” You went there with me because you knew she’s gonna come there to look for me ? I said and he looked at me like I’ve lost it .

” Don’t pretend like you have no idea of what I’m saying because you know what I mean M@$$imo don’t pretend ! I fired angrily as I could already feel my heart beating crazily.

” Grace ….” He began and my I felt my hurt badly .

” You’re just so disgusting M@$$imo …you and your dad decieved me , you told me I was going there to help you guys , all you guys did was take me there as a bait to Gina …? How could you ? I said voice breaking at the edge .

” This is a serious game Grace ,We didn’t tell you the real reason for the masquerade ball because you wouldn’t attend it ! You keep acting like we’re devil’s , when you’re not innocent yourself ” he spat angrily and I slapped him .

He stared at me shocked and my jaws literally dropped from the shock .

” I’m ….” I trailed as he slammed his l!ps on mine …I g@sped from the shock as we made out in front of his car .

He pulled away and stared into my eyes .

” I’d let that slide because , seeing Gina tonight has messed with your br@ins , you won’t try that nons£nse next Time ” he fired as he pulled my arms and walked with me upstairs ..

I don’t understand M@$$imo , I don’t understand what all these people want from me .

I miss my normal life , I miss going for my cl@$$es …I just ” I hugged my arms sadly .

When we got to his room , he just ignored me and went for a shower .

I managed to for-ce myself to sleep after taking a shower . I woke up after sometime and I heard noises .

Screams

I got down from the bed and wore my room . I looked at the corner where M@$$imo sleeps but he was no where to be found .

That means he didn’t sleep here last night .

I heard another loud scream of pa`in and I walked out of the room immediately .

When I got to his sitting room ,I couldn’t see anyone there and it scared the shit outta me .

The whole place was quiet as a grave yard .

” Please DON …! I have no idea. ..about how it happened …I swear …! I heard a man plead and when I walked out ,what I saw made my eyes bulge out of their sockets .

” You think I’m joking with you ” he asked in his mother tongue , I would have swooned at the se-xiness of the language coming out of his tongue ,but at the pres£nt position I couldn’t even the recognize the man sitting in front of him With hands tied .

” M@$$imo ” I screamed as he punc`hed the man one more time Makin the guy spit out bl**d.

His brothers just stood with arms folded as he did the dirty job .

I couldn’t bear it

How could they be so heartless .

With every kick and punch I kept screaming untill I couldn’t hear my voice anymore….

I stared in shock as the guy fell on the floor lifeless .

He stood up with no emotions and Kristov handed him a white hankerchief which he used in wiping his hands .

” Dispose of the body ” he said and turned to see me .

” You killed him ” I said barely able to recognize my own voice .

” Let’s go inside ” he said and I stared at Him like the monster he truly was .

” You ….ki……” I said as tears rolled outta my eyes over and over again .

” I asked you to stay indoors ” he said sternly .

” You killed someone M@$$imo don’t you feel anything ? Why do you keep acting like a robot ! I fired at him but he just stared at me as I cried .

” Why can’t you …feel anything ” I asked and ran out before he could stop me .

I’ve never met anyone as heartless as M@$$imo …!

I needed to forget what if just seen with my eyes tonight, before I loose it .

I got to the room and got my dancing shoes and left for the studio .

Tears rolled outta my eyes as I tied my shoes and the song blasted on the speakers ..

I let myself lost into the song as I cried , I was tired

Tired of everything happening in my life and I just wanted to forget !

My feet hurt badly as I danced but I didn’t stop…for the first time in weeks I for-ced my feets to carry the pain even when my body couldn’t take it ….

” Grace ” I heard M@$$imo call as he walked into the studio.

” WTF ” he cursed as he walked towards me and stopped the music .

” Do you wanna kill yourself ? He snapped at me .

” I don’t care , it’s better than having anything to do with you ? I said and his eyes trailed towards my feets .

” Your shoes got spoilt , …don’t let your emotions rule you ,it makes you stupid ” he said with both hands tucked in his pocket .

” No M@$$imo , crying doesn’t make me stupid , I’m only human …” I said and he picked me up in his arms .

” Let me go” I said and he just ignored me .

” You killed someone M@$$imo ”

” That wasn’t the first ” he said and I hit his che-st .

” He was a criminal Bambi , and he’s not as innocent as you think he is ” he said and I pretended not to here .

” As if he’s any different ” I said softly .

” I heard that ” he said and I rolled her eyes .

” I meant for you to hear it anyways ” I said and we got to his room .

” Your mouth is what puts you in trouble ” he said and I rolled my eyes

” Your heartlessness is what puts you in trouble , you’re as proud as a peaco-ckand you won’t even listen to what I have to say ! I fired at him .

” Really ? He asked amused .

” Of course , all you care about is commiting crimes , what if you go to jail ? I asked and he laughed.

” Is that care I detect in your voice ? ” He asked teasingly.

” Keep on dreaming …. Mr OLDIE … because that’s never gonna happen ! I fired and he dropped me on the bed like I was an egg .

” You know that’s why I want you as my wife , we would make a great couple ” he trailed as he removed my shoes Makin me moan in pain .

” Great couple indeed …! You’re really cunning M@$$imo …I don’t trust you , why are you eager to get married to me ? I know it has something to do with the mafia …I’m not stupid ” I said and he stared at me.

” What if it does ? He asked.

” I’m not a fool okay ? Why would I marry you when I have nothing to gain ? I asked and he frowned .

” What could you possibly need in a husband ? I’m RIch , I’m good-looking …I’m se-xy …I’m a total gentleman and ….” He trailed Makin me burst into laughter .

‘ Are you seriously advertising yourself now ?

” if I have to , you’re not being fair , if you’re worried about s*x then Fear not course I can make you forget everything….and remember only my name ” he said and my jaws literally dropped .

” Stop staring at my bre*sts M@$$imo …! I said and he laughed badly .

” I didn’t ask you to wear something so flimsy ” he said and I smirked .

” I can’t believe you’re this bad ” I said and he chuckled .

” Why won’t you say yes ? He asked ..

” Because you’re too old ? You’re like my Dad ” I said and his jaws dropped immediately .

” Me M@$$imo old ? I’m just 30 ” he said and I chuckled .

” Oh ” I grinned .

” Just oh ? That’s all you have to say ? He asked and I chuckled softly.

” I can’t say yes … because I have nothing to gain …I know what you’re planning to do to me … especially my body ” I said and he opened and closed his mouth like a fish.

” What do you want ? He asked .

” first My identity as grace and not Gina in the mafia , and you’d let me take pa-rt in the competition this year ! We’d have both church and court wedding .. ….you won’t touch me untill we’re legally married …our children would not be pa-rt of your sinful life …we ” I was saying and he was staring at me with mouth wide opened.

” You’re still counting ? He asked .

” Of cause ” I said and he clapped for me .

” Infact grace clap for yourself ” he said and I clapped excitedly.

” And you’re clapping ? He asked .

” We’re marrying on my terms or forget about tieing me down ” I said and smirked at him .
