RACE

After my Encounter with M@ssimo ,I’d not seen him throughout the Afternoon …I frowned as I walked downstairs and scrolled through my phone .

I was worried about him but I didn’t let myself dwell too much on it after all he’s the mighty M@ssimo ,he’d find his way home .

Not too long he walked in with a bag ..I sighed in relief but pretended not to notice him infact I didn’t look at his direction .

He smiled at me and walked upstairs …I kept staring at the shopping bag Wondering what he had bought .

” Why am I even thinking about what he’d bought ? It’s non of my business” I muttered under my breath but still looked upstairs .

I’d just go and check it out , it’s not like I’m interested , I just want to be sure it’s not a bomb …

Yes I’m trying to protect myself from danger ” I muttered under my breath as I strolled upstairs.

I got there and he was no longer in the room ,I frowned and turned to leave but my eyes made contact with the parcel on the bed .

I walked close to it and there was a note sticked to it .

This For you , I’d be waiting at the garden

I read and bit my lower l!p as a smile graced my l!ps …

M@ssimo would always be M@ssimo ,I mean I’m sure he was trying to be romantic with this note but failed woefully .

I mean the note was just as commanding as his personality .

But I knew his intentions and if I was right in what I was thinking at that moment then he was trying to make it up to me .

I went into the bathroom and got ready in the red dress he bought…I looked at myself in the mirror and let my hair loose .

I decided to go without makeup since M@ssimo wasn’t a fan of it anyways .

I Got to the Garden and a smile graced my l!ps as I stared at him , he looked nervous as he wiped his hands and stared at me .

” Huh …hi ” he said and I walked towards him .

He looked handsome and s£×y in his white Button down shirt and ripped jeans p@nts .

” You need to breath out if we’re gonna continue with this date ‘ i said and he chuckled .

” I thought you’d freak out ” he said as he pulled the chair for me to sit .

” No …I like it ” I said and we both smiled at each other.

” I’m suprised … actually that you thought of this , or did You run to Sergio and the others as usual ? I teased .

” Are you trying to say I’m not romantic ? He asked jaws literally dropped.

” I know the man I married ..” I said teasingly and he bit his lower l!p .

I stared at the candles and the way the flowers flowed all the way to the pool and towards our room .

” Who helped you out ” I asked as he sat down with me .

” One of my men … Aldo” he said and I stared at him shocked.

” You actually know them by name ? I asked amused .

“Not all of them though ” he said and opened the dishes .

” Wow spaghetti and meatballs ,this smells delicious ” I said as I stared at him and he smiled .

” I’m still wondering how you learned how to cook so well” I said immediately I tasted it .

” My grandma ” he said and I smiled .

” She even willed her house to you , you must have been her favourite grandson ” i said and he looked away.

” I love this …it’s so yummy …hmmm…mmm” I mo*ned. and he stared at me as his eyes darkened .

” It’s not fair that you’d make such noises …” He trailed .

” Really ? What does it do to you ? ” I said as I s√¢ked on my lower l!p .

” Don’t tempt me” he said and I laughed .

” You’re staring again ” I said immediately our eyes met.

” I married a beautiful woman ” he said as we at silently .

” Grace ” he called .

” hmmm” I answered as I stared at him .

” What was it like ? He asked and i Frowned.

” What ? I asked as I wiped my mouth with a savet .

” Your life ….before we met ” he asked and I stared at him curiously .

Why was he asking me that question ? M@ssimo wasn’t the type to Ask about something like that ,he didn’t even like knowing people intimately .

” It was hell ….” I said and for some odd reason my mood changed.

Thinking about it at that moment made me realize just how much life with M@ssimo made more s£nse than the life I used to live at my mom’s .

” My mom never liked me …she hated the fact that when I started seeing my menstrual flow I wouldn’t join tye business …I was stubborn and hotheaded and that only irked her …!

” She’d beat me up and tell me how much she regrets birthing me , she’d have preferred if she got rid of me while I was still in the womb …”

” There where times I wondered if she was really my mother …” I said as I laughed sadly .

” But Then after highschool there was no hope for college …I paid for the rent in my own mother’s house , that too to my mother , I still paid some her bills and mine …it got to the point where I had to pay for George and pat too …”

” Countless times I’d been chased by bad guys , escaped rape with luck …”

” The night your men kidnapped me , I’d walked in on George in bed with my bestfriend Patricia , they where all I had and I used to love George a lot …my fees at the Academy was overdue already and I was looking for a means to complete the payment , my rent had expired and mom was threatening to kick me out already …and then George and I broke up ….I thought everything was over …” I said as we stared Into each other’s eyes.

” And then kidnapped you thinking you where Gina ” he said and I smiled.

” Maybe it was our Destiny to meet that way ” I said and he laughed.

” I don’t believe in Destiny” he said and I rolled my eyes.

” You’re boring remember ” I said and his jaws dropped but then he joined me laugh.

We stayed out for sometime and talked about random things .

I stood up after the Date as he led me towards our room , immediately we got in ,he slammed his l!ps on mine and I klzzed him back with the same pace , we where so into each other …hungry and desperate but after we got to the bed , I stopped .

” M@ss hmm …I’m tired ” I said and he stared at me like I’ve lost it .

” Baby you can’t do this not now ‘ he said and klzzed me again …

” I’m seriously tired it’s been a long day ” I said and he looked like he’s cry any moment .

He called me baby .

” Grace ” he Called and I turned on my way to the bathroom .

” I thought you forgot …? He whinned and I smirked.

” Forgot ? M@ssimo you practically had me dripping for you before you played me …Now you can’t dance to a music you started ? By the way the date was awesome I never knew my husband was so romantic” I said and he threw a pillow at me which I dodged while laughing crazily.

” You won’t make heaven ” he said pointing at me and I grinned .

” We’re both going to help then ” I said as I shook my butts naughtily .

” Fvck ‘” he cursed from behind ,I knew he might try breaking in to seduce me , so I locked the door the moment I entered .

Took a shower and returned to the bed after tieing the ropes of my nightwear properly .

” Baby this is not fair ” he said klzzing my shoulders and I chuckled .

M@ssimo had never been so over me like he was that night .

” Grace you can’t sleep while I’m in this state ” he said and I chuckled softly.

” Goodnight ” I said and after sometime I heard him leave the bed .

” Hey where are you going ? I asked pointing at him .

” You won’t let me touch you , I’m not even permitted to go outside for fresh air ? He asked shocked.

” There’s Air in this room max why do you want the one outside …come and sit down I’d look for a way out ” I said and he stared at me.

” This is what we call wickedness Grace” he said Dramatically.

” Really then what you did to me should be called what ? You practically lapped everything in me …I was in the mood i couldn’t wait …to have you in me ,then you decided to start this game ” I said and he looked at me amused .

” Okay I’m sorry ” he said and my jaws literally dropped.

” What ? I asked smiling .

” I said I’m …..wait why do you want me to say it twice ? He asked frowning.

” I didn’t hear you the first time “I feigned innocence.

” of course you did Grace ! He said and I played with the ropes of my nightie.

” I’m waiting ” I said and he chuckled.

” Fine you Win …I’m sorry …” He said and raised me in his arms immediately.

” Hahahaha Seriosely have some patience ” I laughed as he walked towards the bed .

Immediately he got in he sighed on my neck .

” Don’t so not next time I nearly fainted ” he said and I klzzed his l!ps .

That marked the beginning of a crazy night .

The next morning …We still went Ahead with a morning section and as we slept together on the bed his phone rang .

” Max …you’re phone is ringing ” I said and he frowned .

” Let me sleep ” he said u snuggled closer .

” your phone is ringing ,it’s an unknown number ” I said and he opened his eyes immediately.

He sat up and took the phone .. immediately he picked up …

His expression changed cause he got down from the bed and walked out of the room .

” C’mon we need to live ” he said the moment he walked back in and I stared at him .

” What’s wrong ? I asked and he stared at me.

” I care about you Grace a lot …” He said and I frowned .

” I know you do , what’s wrong is everything okay ” I asked but he just pulled me into his arms .

I bit my lower l!p as tears rolled out of my eyes .

What’s going on ?
