Jamal didn’t bother to go back to the class, he drove home.
Kim never stop worrying about him.

Mabel walked by the side of the pool, she was speaking to kelvin on phone, then she sighted James.
“I will call you back berry”. She hanged up and ran to James.
“Hey punk”. She mocked.
“What??”. He blurted.
He is always aggressive.
“Greeting you was a mistake, well how about our project,I mean how are we going to do it?”. She asked rolling her eyes at him.
He chuckled.
“Do you have a phone?”. He asked and she nodded.
“Good! And you have goggle,then goggle it…..fool”. He spat and dust his dress before leaving.
“Bad ass!!!!!”. Mabel shouted.

“Anika….longtime…no see”. Rose said.
“Rosella”. Anika smiled.
“Seven years isn’t a joke”. Rose said squeezing her face.
“Perfectly said,but it’s a story for another day”. Nika replied.
“I can see you are getting better”. Rose said and she nodded.
Silent filled the room until Rose decided to break it.
“I saw her, your daughter”. She said making Nika heart to skip.
“My daughter?”.
“Yes…..she is beautiful with a black hair, busty,slim…”.
“Kimberly”. Nika cut in and rose nodded.
“She is so amazing”. She gushed making Nika to blush lot smiling.
But it faded away.
“Am very sure she’s really heartbroken, she would have cried the hell out of her eyes”.
“Yes she did, and she can’t do without coming here daily”. Rose added making anika cry.
“I know she will, the funniest part is that she hate the smile of hospital, she fell sick whenever she smell it, I really don’t want to distract her because she can easily get distracted with little thing. I want her to fulfill her dream and right know I don’t know when I will be the discharge”. She cried.
“This is my chance”. Rose said to herself.
“What if she stay with me,i will be here guardian for the main time”. She said…..
Anika lips parted revealing her tooth.
“Really?”.

“My baby, where have you been? I searched everywhere for you”. Nimah said immediately she saw Kim.
“I was in the school clinic”. She replied pointing at her head.
“Ow….alright am going home already,bye”. Nimah pouted.
“You say,home? Or…..”.
Mabel beamed and nimah covered her mouth with her palm before she could complete her sentence.
She took her away from Kimberley.
“Silly heads”. Kim muttered.

She went to the library,she waited for Jamal for over a hour but be didn’t show up.
She left for hospital.

She was very happy when she saw her granny, they hugged and kissed each other face.
“I missed you a lot…..don’t ever fell sick again…”. Kim said.
“She won’t”. Rose replied coming in.
Kimberly ran to her and pull her into a tight hug.
“I really appreciate all your efforts, you saved my granny life without collecting a dine from me, ma, am grateful”. Kim cried as rose rubbed her back.
Anika signal to her and she nodded.
She broke the hug and bent in front of kim to face her.
“You are welcome dear, if you truly appreciate my efforts….can….you….please…start staying with me?”. Rose said looking deeply into her eyes.
Kimberly looked at anika face, anika threw her face away.
“Is this how you really are?”. Kim said and snatched her hands from hers.
“Calm down sweetie,am just willing to help you,that’s all”. Rose said lowering her gaze.
“But I didn’t ask for it!”. She half yelled.
“You need It….Kim you need to be under someone care till am out of here”. Anika whispered.
“Granny….”.
“Trust me baby, she is my old friend,so just trust me when I say she’s good”. Anika said.
Kim looked at rose who is probably crying.
“I will….. But one one condition”. She said barely in whisper.
Rose stood up and moved to her, Kim looked away.
“What condition?”.
“I will do as I like without you opposing all my doing”. She replied.
