The day ended and Kimberly went home with Tony.
“Welcome back honey”. Rose embraced Kimberly with a hug.
She also hugged her back.
“How was your day?”. She asked and Kimberly bowed her head.
“Am sorry for asking when I knew it was bad, Mrs Smith called me and explained everything to me…..am sorry about that”. Rose said.
“It’s nothing serious….am okay now. How is my grandma doing?”. Kimberly said.
“Good….she is very good”. Rose lied.
“Okay…let me go and change”. Kim said and went upstairs.
“I got some little surprise for you baby”. Rose shouted.
“Okay ma…. I will be right back”. Kimberly replied.
“Good girl…. So decent,I wish she is mine”. Rose said loudly making Tony to hear her.
“Then you can just adopt her”. Tony said frowning.
“I think that’s what I will still do,I can’t continue staying with a son with nonchalant attitudes,a unrespectful son,an idiot…….you stood there since without even greeting me. Just look at Kimberly,she is very good, respectful…. beautiful,just perfect. Even Jamal is better than you…..”. Rose said boldly.
“I have warned you several times not to mention that name in front of me”. Tony yelled.
” What if I do? No,I will even do it….. Jamal, Jamal, Jamal, Jamal, Jamal, Jamal”. Rose sang with the name continuously,also dancing with it.
Water dropped from his eyes, it’s his tears.
“You are playing with my pain”. He uttered walking upstairs.
“What do you know about pain? Do feel any pain? I laugh in Spanish….look here, your stupid behavior is inadmissible and I will not stop pressuring you until you change,idiot!”. Rose shouted from downstairs.
Before she continuing sing with Jamal’s name.
“Jamal, Jamal, Jamal, Jamal, Jamal”. She said loudly laughing out.
“Thank God his father is not around”. She said to herself.

Kimberly heard everything that they were saying.
“Why does he hate Jamal so much”. She thought.
Someone tapped her shoulder and she almost fainted.
“Mommy”. She screamed.
Zara couldn’t help it but laugh…..she suddenly stopped.
“The way she pronounced her mommy is just like the way christabel pronounce her own.”. Zara thought.Almost lost in thought.
“,Hey”. Kim called waving her hands on her face.
“Girly….come down for dinner”. She said and left the room before Kimberly could reply her.
“This woman”. She said coming out of her room and met Tony beside her door.
“Peeping on me?”. She said and he hissed before he walked passed her.
She also hissed back.
“My hatred for you had also increased since you hate my boo so much”.
