Anika,Zara and Rose drove to jamal house.
Anika smiled immediately her eyes landed on the house.
“This was once my house”. She said and Zara pat her back.

“I will be forever grateful”. She added making Anika to smile widely.
“Let go inside”. Rose said when she unlocked the door.
Anika want to enter but Zara stopped her.
“You didn’t notice anything?”. She asked and Anika nodded negatively.
She looked her rose and rose nodded.
Geoffrey car was parked opposite jamal house.
“It means he is inside”. Anika said.
“We need to sneak in”. Rose suggested.
“How?”. Zara asked as she cracked her head.
“I told you it was once my house, so leave it to me, just follow my lead”. Anika said.
She lead them to the backyard and followed a place that looks like a tunnel, it is very dusty.
They all on their torch.
“Bestie, you’re crazy, you know?”. Rose said to Anika.

“Swears, am sure Jamal don’t know here existed?”. Zara added.
“Are you done talking, I didn’t build it, it was Joseph that did, he do sneak out through here”. Anika explained.
“Now keep shut”. She warned when they got a point they started hearing voices.
Jamal and Geoffrey voice.
“He’s inside there with my son”. Zara whispered shakily.
Rose covered her mouth.
“Sir what are you doing here?”. Jamal asked Geoffrey.
“In my own house”. Geoffrey replied making Jamal to chuckle.
“Your house? You gave me money not house”. He said.
“Money and house what is the different?”. Geoffrey asked.
“You have your phone with you right? Ask Google”. Jamal whined. And that called for a slap.

“My son”. Zara mouthed in rose hand.
“You bloody fool! Where Is your respect?”. Geoffrey roared.
He made to slap Jamal again but Jamal held his hand.
“The last time I checked, you weren’t my father but a killer”. He said breathing heavily.
“Really? Who gave you the guts?”. Geoffrey asked.
“I was weak because I thought my sister was dead, but now that I know she is alife my courage is back”. Jamal said still holding his hand.
Geoffrey understand what he meant.
“I don’t mind killing her the second time though the first one was a mistake but I will kill her now”. He spat and jolt his hand from jamal hands before leaving.
He faced him again.
“Watch your back”. He added and left the house.

He was blind with anger to see Rose car.
The three rushed out after Geoffrey went.
Zara rushed to Jamal who Is still surprise in seeing them.
She locked his dress pulling him with it.
“Tell me what is between you and Geoffrey”. She said losing it already.
Anika glanced hard at him including Rose, she gave him deadly face.
Jamal had no choice but began to explain.
“On Christabel birthday, I went to her room and met Geoffrey pointing gun at her while she was asleep. I pleaded and he said he won’t kill her on one condition”.

FLASH BACK
“I won’t kill her if you make her stay away from my son”. Geoffrey said.
“How? You know she madly inlove with Tony”. Jamal said.
“I don’t care,i will give you the sum of 250 million dollars”. He said but jamal is not moved.
“Si…”. He want to talk but Geoffrey shush him.
“Do or die and she will also die”. Geoffrey said.

Jamal wasn’t aware when tears began to roll down from his eyes.
“I will, I will, I will”. He said continuously weeping.
Geoffrey smiled dangerously.
“Good boy, you have 2 hours left”. He said.
Jamal thought of an idea. He wrote a letter with Tony writing.
Christabel woke up and met the letter beside her bed.
“Happy birthday fool. I hate you. Let break up idiot”. It was boldly written on the letter.

Christabel ran out of her room, she was confused. She met jamal on the way and he confused her more.
“You saw the letter right?”. He asked immediately he saw her.
“How..do..yo..u know?”. Christabel stammered.
“He told me, he even left the country”. He lied and Christabel legs began to shake. Jamal held her so she won’t fall.
He pulled her into a hug crying along with her, Christabel throat became dry.
“I need free air, this place is suffocating me”. She said hiccuping.
An idea came to jamal head, beach!.
He took her inside the car and drove her to the beach, unknowing that Geoffrey was following them.
When they got there, she told him she need a space.
“Please Mal, I won’t stay long”. She said and she agreed with her.
He watched her till she was out of sight, but he saw something strange, a man was trailing her.

“Geoffrey”. He said after seeing the person back view.
Jamal ran after them but he didn’t meet up, all he heard was the scream of his sister.
Geoffrey laughed showing him the acid he was holding.
“I didn’t mean to but I have to”. He said.
Jamal looked at the heartless man before him.
He should have gone to report in the station but he doesn’t have any evidence.
Geoffrey gave him the millions but it couldn’t repair what has spoilt.
Tony hate him, his mother his broken, he himself is depressed.
Whenever he plan to go to the police station, Geoffrey always threaten to kill his mother, his last hope too. That is why he didn’t bother to report.

FLASH BACK END.
Rose was disappointed in the man she called her husband.
“What a waste”. Rose said.
“My instincts are always right, that is why I hate that man”. Anika said.
“But I gat this, I have set recorder in the polar”. Jamal said.
“Good, what next?”. Zara asked.
“Let go to the airport, tony and Kimberly, I mean Christabel are coming back today”. Anika said.
“Kimberly is okay”. Zara said and she smiled.
They all drove to the airport and meet Tony and Kimberly coming out of the plane hand by hand.

Rose smiled.
Kimberly ran to Anika first and hugged her.
“I miss you baby”. Anika said.
“Am miss you more sweetie”. Kim replied.
“Am jealous”. Tony said making them to laugh.
Tony also hugged him mum, and the rest, surprisingly, he hugged Jamal.
“Bruh”. He said. The shock was too much for Jamal, he couldn’t hug him back.
Kim hugged zara. Zara felt her daughter love again.
Kim hugged her friends too. The principal of the school hugged them too.
“You really made us proud”. Mrs Mary said.
“Yeah.. HOTCHKISS STARs”. Teemah and james choruses.
They looked at each other, Teemah looked away first but james never did.
“She look cute than before”. He thought still looking at her.

“Don’t bole holes on her body”. Mabel teased.
“Witch…”. He called and she laughed.
“Lazy fowl, you’re inlove”. She replied.
“Fuck you”. He said hiding his happiness.
“Let go, we prepared some little surprises for you”. Nimah said.
“Yah… I love surprises”. Kim shouted like a baby.

“Secret lover move forward”. Spark whined and everyone laughed.
Kim and tony hugged each other as the moved forward.
Suddenly they heard a gunshot.
Everyone scattered leaving someone in a blood pool.
