Ruth and the prince got along so well, they talked and laughed over so many things, for a minute she forgot about the queen, she forgot about her fears of being caught, she just relax and enjoy the moment she was having with the prince. When they finish eating, Ruth got up and arrange the used plates.

RUTH
Thank you my lord( she bend her head a little)

PRINCE BOB
You welcome, I really enjoyed your company…. I hope we do this again?

RUTH
I will hope for it my prince ( she smiled)
She packed the plates and left, took them to the kitchen she meet chichi and Amara eating in the kitchen.

AMARA
Come and join us na

RUTH
I’m not hungry…. I’m full

CHICHI
Full? Where did you eat then????

AMARA
Yes where did you eat, we all have been working together since morning without food so where did you eat?

RUTH
No place I’m just not hungry yet ( she lied)
They finish eating and started the preparation for the queen’s special guests.

TIME CHECKED 6:00PM
The senator’s daughter had arrived the palace with her body guards, well dress and looking pretty she hasn’t met the prince one on one but she has seen his picture, the queen showed it to her the last time she visited her.

The queen hugged her and welcomed her into her home.

QUEEN
I’m so happy you came at the short notice

CLARA
( she smiled) my queen you know I wouldn’t want to miss a night with the prince.

QUEEN
Awwwwn that’s so sweet. I will have someone call him for you.

Ruth came to the living room to serve them drink, she greeted Clara she replied with a wave of hand.

QUEEN
Since you already here, go inside and get my son for me( she told Ruth)

RUTH
Yes my lady.

She bend her knee a little and excused herself, she went to the prince door and knocked softly.

PRINCE BOB
Come inside
She opened the door and went in closing it behind her, the prince was surprise to see her and she wasn’t holding anything in her hands.

RUTH
Greetings my prince( she bend her knees)

PRINCE BOB
Greetings Ruth, how are you

RUTH
Very well my Prince, how’s my prince doing?

PRINCE BOB
( he smiled) I’m very well too Ruth. So you didn’t come with food, juice or even water why are you here? ( he asked politely)

RUTH
The queen demands your presence downstairs

PRINCE BOB
Can’t I just have some time to myself? What is it she wants?

RUTH
No idea my prince. May I take my leave now?

PRINCE BOB
Yes you free to go
She bend her knees again and exit.
The prince stayed back in bed for close to an hour before he went into his bathroom and took his bath, changed into something simple and went downstairs.

The queen and Clara were laughing before he walked in on them. Immediately Clara saw him her laugh turn to blush, she got up and greeted him. The queen introduced them both

PRINCE BOB
Nice to meet you Clara.

CLARA
Same here, and I must confess you look even more handsome in person compare to the photos mum showed me

PRINCE BOB
( He smiled) I will take that as a complement. Thanks
Amara came and inform the Queen dinner was served and left almost immediately.

QUEEN
Kids let’s go to the dinning, food is served.
They all got up and went to the dinning room to eat, the Queen eat quickly and excused them so they could have some privacy and talk much better. Prince Bob has nothing against Clara but just a look at her he already knew her kind, beside he told his mother ” I like them black” she is no different with the white ladies he left back in the state.

After dinner was over, they retired to the prince Chambers where they talked about, politics, life style and other things…. The way she spoke sold her out but just to be sure his guess was right he throw her his final test.

PRINCE BOB
Can you eat with your servant?

CLARA
What? God forbid I can’t, in fact why should I? The whole senator’s daughter eating with slaves? My prince I will never do that.

PRINCE BOB
Yeah I thought as much too, how can a beautiful girl like you eat with pigs? I understand you well dear.

She smiled thinking prince bob was praising her if she knew that was her final test she would have think twice before answering.
