‘what the hell, dahm, it’s obvious this people want me dead’ how in God’s name did they want me to kill a top assassin in Nigeria, a place where I will barely recognized, it’s been more than ten years ago I’ve been there, all because I save the life of a little girl. ‘ wait did I just say “little girl” mehn she’s spy.

Instantly i regretted not pumping bullets into her Skull, i mean the girl looks so much innocent to be a spy, working for such people. Well maybe it’s time to avenge my father’s death i said with a shrug.

I need to get going and Nigeria here I come. I got myself prepared for the task ahead, been an army, to get my sets and riffles through airport was very easy.

‘Wow home sweet home’ I said as entered the taxi taking me to my already booked hotel. I looked at the driver keenly, he looked so innocent and I feel like asking him some questions.

me: hey how is this place now

taxi driver: (looks at me through the front mirror) here’s is good o, you sound as if it’s been long u travelled.

me: yeah it’s been long, I hope people still don’t commit suicide because of losing their job

taxi driver: (looking surprise at my question) well people still do, why do you ask? he said when he could not see meaning to why someone who just came back from abroad is asking why commit suicide after losing their job.

Me: nothing, I said while looking outside, the country has really changed.

We got to the hotel in no time and I checked in. I was tired and needed to take some rest, so I first order for food and then went into the bathroom to take a shower. i was inside the bathroom when I heard knock.

“who there” I shouted, almost forgotten i ordered for food.

“room service” the voice shouted”

‘just a minute’ i said wrapping my towel and headed straight to the door. I opened the door and the room service boy entered.

‘ drop it there” i commanded as I walk back to the bathroom, after the first three steps i took i looked at the bathroom glass reflection and saw someone moving closer to me with something i can’t figure out in his hands. Immediately i paused and without turning back, i dodged the knife, and the service boy staggered forward almost breaking his head with the bathroom glass, i didn’t waste time, i send a heavy blow into his nose, he rushed towards me and pull me backward, making me to land on the food he just bought. I was still trying to get up, (the towel i wrapped has already fall off) and I sent him back with a heavy kick, making him to fell on the floor and his knife dropping from him hand, i quickly rushed to the bed to get my gun, little did I know he has got hold of his knife, he threw the knife at me which almost got me, I dodged it by rolling to the other side of the bed, i got hold of the knife and without hesitation i threw the knife at him and it caught him in the tummy, his eyes popped out while he go down. i rushed to him and just then I could recognize him

“what the taxi driver?” I muttered in shock
“who sent you” was what i could ask, he brought out a pill and quickly swallowed it and breathed the last.
