Episode 3

sitting down the alley my mind flashed back to the very day the news of my father’s death was broken to me, how life has dealt with me is really bad, how could my parents abandon me when I needed them most, tears dropped from my eyes, I stood up still cleaning my back looking back and walking along I collided with a woman, feeling the softness of her body and sweet incense smell from the parky shop she walked out from
‘I am sorry” I said, trying to untangle myself from her beads and layers of dark dyed gown clothing. The look in her eyes told me everything was okay.

“Your spirit is troubled” she said to me as she was leading me back to the parky shop. I looked at her totally giving up on Christianity thing ” maybe you can help” I answered “do you have a lawyer repellent” I said the woman busted into an uncontrollable laugh

“most lady of your age have issues of the Heart, not lawyer ” she said “I don’t think their is an age limit on lawyers” I replied looking at the display of the beautiful diamond wristwatch in the store.

Just then my eye caught Daniella Davidson behind the counter. Daniella has been in my class in high school although we weren’t really friends, but we did at least share outcast status with the normal kids. She is beautiful black girl with shiny dark hair and large green eyes.

I just use my head to answer and clapped my mouth shut trying to hold back my tears. The woman who led me to the store was struggling to understand what was happening but I was totally off so she turned to Daniella for explanation

“her dad killed himself last week” Daniella answered the non verbalized question

“oh no” the woman said, hugging me closer, I could see the concern in her eyes “I am sorry” was all I could say before melting into a complete mess, crying openly like a baby. She led back to the store and hug me even more tighter
Daniella followed us in, the woman ask her “do you know her” ” she was in my class in high school, her name is Juliet Jackson, i hadn’t seen her since then but i read in the paper sometimes last week that a man called Emma Jackson killed himself after losing his job”

with hearing this i burst out more in tears.
