Melody woke up the next day and the event of the previous day flashed back into her mind as she dressed up do r school this making her to smile like someone who has loss her senses.

Meanwhile at golden gate school the news had already gone viral that Melody the new girl is pregnant that’s why she’s absent from school.

How the news spread around like that was not known to anyone and who took up the responsibility of spreading the fake news about Melody.

Even Mrs Hannah heard it and she was shocked to the bones especially for the fact that she didn’t see melody to be such a girl.
A smile crossed Amanda lips and she gives her friends high shouting out that her plan has finally worked out.

She went ahead to tell people that even if she comes to school the next day because she knew that she will definitely not stay away from school forever that she has aborted it. she went ahead telling people to observe Melody when she comes to the school that she will be thinking and will be dull in school even that she will be looking pale too so as to convince them to believe what she said to be true.

Melody finally dressed up and looked at herself in the small mirror in their house not minding to check on her parents because Mr Patrick had taken proper care of them as she always wanted.

She took her books and left for school, on getting to the school the school assembly was on and none noticed her presence except the junior students.

Amanda was standing at the front side when she immediately turned and saw melody standing at the far end. she tap her friends and they went ahead and tap other people and soon all eyes were fed on melody as she stood looking confused whether she’s smelling or she’s not normal thus making her to feel uncomfortable especially how the male eyes moves rhythmically up and down at her.

Soon the devotion ended and she left to their class almost immediately, she took the staircase up and then settle on her desk bringing out her note book as usual.

Everyone who came into the class gave her a disdainful look and proceeded to their sit taking time to examine her to see whether the news is true which got melody confused.
Henry as well came and pass her without looking at her or even saying hi which was unlike him and it was strange to melody as everyone keeps stairing at her. she wondered whether she’s a ghost.

Melody was a weak type who she’d tears so easily and tears were already formed in her eyes ready to drop as soon as possible, to her fate the geography teacher Mr Anuma entered the class which made everyone stood up and greet him and that saved melody from her stress of thinking.

Without wasting time Mr Anuma proceed to the board and wrote the topic of the day lesson which was “DENUDATION “.
“Good morning class “Mr Anuma greeted
“Good morning sir”They respond
“Today we are going to deal with the topic that says “Denudation “and I need your cooperation. is that clear?

“Yes sir!
“Good, can someone tell me what is denudation?

Half of the class lift up their hands exception of Melody pretending as if she doesn’t know the answer to the question.

“Yes you tell us what is denudation “Mr Anuma said pointing to Amanda who lifted her hand so high for melody to see that she’s brilliant too.

Yes it’s true that Amanda is brilliant too and she normally takes up the first position in the class and she always represent her school in any inter-school competition.

Amanda stood up slowly and smiled.
“Sir, denudation is the washing and wearing away of the earth surface by gradual washing and wearing away of such surface “She said boldly

“Good! let’s clap for her “Mr Anuma exclaimed.
“Now can someone here tell me the agents of denudation?

They lift up their hands again and still melody didn’t lift up her hand and Mr Anuma noticed it and pointed at her.
“Yes young girl tell us “he said pointing to melody but she was lost in thought thinking of how to break the record of her family background that she didn’t even heard when her name was being called.

The class went silent immediately to hear what melody will say but to their out most surprise she didn’t say anything she was lost in thought and almost half of the class concluded that the news they heard about her was true.

Mr Anuma asked a girl who sat near her to touch her and immediately the girl touched her, she jerked up from her thought and that was when she noticed that all eyes were on her.
“Now tell the class what I asked you”Mr Anuma requested and melody didn’t know what to say she only stood there like a molten figure wondering what the question was.
Mr Anuma shook his head pitifully and then signalled another person to answer which he did.

“What are you thinking in my class?
“Sir, she’s thinking about her baby that she aborted “Amanda blurted out which got the class in a transfixed situation as their shout echoed the class.

Mr Anuma wondered what could have made Amanda to say such.

“And who asked you to speak for her? Mr Anuma faced Amanda angrily.
“As for you come over here and kneel down here until I finish teaching “He ordered melody who obeyed the instruction and did as instructed.

While kneeling down Henry kept glancing at her feeling the pain in his heart and melody kept returning the glance immediately after.

The rest of the lesson was boring to Melody as she was kneeling down and God finally answered her prayers as Mr Anuma finished his stuff and picked his lesson note and left the class and she stood up almost immediately and her knees were paining her.
Immediately Mr Anuma left, Mrs Hannah who was waiting for him to leave entered the class and didn’t even noticed that melody is in school.

She walked to the board and wrote the topic of the day on the board.
“Good morning everyone, today we are dealing with the topic “REPRODUCTION “,and can someone tell us what is reproduction? She asked and almost immediately all eyes turned to melody to answer the question as if she’s the one holding the key to the answer of the question.
Henry looked away immediately his eyes caught her own.

That was when Mrs Hannah noticed melody presence in the class and she was shocked, and he knew the reason why all the students eyes fed on her too they have heard the news of her pregnancy.

“Sorry class we will continue this class another day, melody follow me now! she ordered and took her books and leave and immediately without asking questions she followed Mrs Hannah to the general staff room.
