Read Story: SEASON 1 EPISODE 16

When Sasha saw the chef standing there, she rolled down her windows.

“What?!” She asked him and he gave her a drink.

“I don’t want it. The things over here s–k!”

“It’s for your own good. It’s a lemon tea with ginger”.

“Eeew what kind of mix is that? And why are you offering that to me?!”

“You’re not the first person who’s come from that clinic acting out. We experience this a lot and I’ve been speaking to my manager to get us to move and he’s been reluctant. So I found a way to keep the sanity of those who work here”.

“So you came up with the tea?”

“Yeah, it relaxes your mind. You should try it”, he said to her.

“If I take this and it doesn’t do anything, I’d have you fired and drag your name in all the news outlets that you wouldn’t be able work anymore”.

“Wow, that’s the best I’ve heard so far. Now drink”, he said, giving it to her. She smelt it and then she drank it.

“It tastes so bad. Eww”, she said, giving the glass back to him.

“You drank all? Wow! That’s a first”, he said and he couldn’t stop himself from laughing at how she had frowned.

“You’re so going to get fired! Eww!” She said and he continued to laugh.

“Wait, I feel better”, she said, placing her head on the steering wheel.

“It’s kicked in”, he said , smiling.

“Wow. What did you put in it? I really feel better”, she said, lifting her head.

“It’s actually just a normal tea”, he said, laughing.

“What? So why do I feel different?”

“It’s psychological. I tell you what you want to feel and you accept it and I just say a small prayer in my head hoping that it works and most of the time, it does”.

“Oh my God, you’re so good”, she said, laughing. “I actually feel better”.

“You’re welcome”.

“I think you should replace the lady at that clinic. You’re saving people here”, she said to him and he laughed.

“Just so you know. Our burgers are the best, next time you come in a better mood, you’ll appreciate it”.

“Oh hell no. I won’t step foot here again. It’s so small and it has a weird smell and your burger actually sucks”.

“I agree with you”.

“But you work here”.

“Yeah. I do unfortunately but that doesn’t mean I can accept the truth about this place”.

“So you agree that your burgers are nasty”.

“It’s not. It’s just the new chef who messed it up”, he said, whispering in her ears.

“Ohh and you made me look like I was crazy”, she said glaring at him and he laughed.

“Anyway. Thank you for the drink. How much does it cost?” She asked.

“Oh please, keep your riches to yourself. It’s on the house”.

“Do you do that for every customer”?

“The ones who are nice at the end”, he said to her and she laughed.

“Okay. Thank you so much… Han..sso..” she said, looking at the name tag on his shirt.

“It’s Hanson”, he said, smiling.

“Thank you so much Hanson”.

“It’s my pleasure. Drive safely”, he said to her and she drove off.

After having a stressful day at work, Sasha decided to go to the beach and have sometime to herself. She changed into a sun dress and then she left.

When she arrived at the beach, she laid her mat at the shoreline and she laid on it, facing the sun which was setting. The sea breeze blew and made her feel better.

She was lying there for while till someone came to lie by her.

“Philip”, she said, taking in his hand and squeezing it.

“How did you know it was me?” He asked

“I can feel you from a thousand miles away”.

“Wow, you’re stealing my lines now?”

“You wish”.

“So what’s been going on with you? I’ve more heard from you in a long time?” He asked.

“Yeah. For starters, you’re supposed to be dead so there’s no way you’ll hear from me”.

“Okay. But I’m here now. So talk to me”.

“Well, I’ve dated a lot of guys since you left”.

“7? Wow! That’s a lot. Why what’s happening? “

“Oh, they’re just not like you and I can’t stand them. And yeah one had a baby mama drama, another had an ex drama and then my recent one had a family drama. But he reminds me of you in a way, so I think I might be with him for a long time”.

“Oh please, there’s no one like me”.

“I know right. That’s why I can’t stand them but trust me Ross is like 8/10 of you”.

“Oh please. I’ve seen him. He’s like 4 or 3”.

“You’ve been watching me?”

“Of course. I have to still look after you”.

“Mmm, that’s nice of you. I also started seeing this therapist”.

“Mmm, that’s nice. It’ll really help you”.

“Yeah I liked her the first day but yesterday, I blew it. She was making me talk about you and then she brought God inside and started saying some weird things and I just lost it and walked away”.

“Hmm, I think she was just trying to help”.

“Mmm, I didn’t see it that way”.

“So do you plan on going back?”

“I don’t know. Maybe”.

“You should and when you go, I think you should apologize”.

“Hmm”.

“Babe you should”.

“Okay. If you say so”.

“Good girl”, he said, pecking her on the cheek.

She turned to kiss him and she opened her eyes, she realized that she had drifted off to sleep and that it was all a dream.

She smiled to herself and was happy that she dreamt of him. It had not happened in while and she was glad it did but wished it was not a dream.

She stayed at the beach for a while and after sometime, she got up and left.

Sasha and her friends were hanging out in Rachel’s house. Ralph and Lilian were in their own world in the balcony whiles Sasha, Alicia and Rachel were watching a movie.

As they were watching a movie, Rachel got a call and she quickly stepped out to answer it.

After a while she came into the room, jumping.

“Archie is coming, Archie is coming”, she said, dancing.

“Wow. That’s amazing” Alicia said, rejoicing with her.

“Wait is he coming with Adriana?” Sasha asked.

“Unfortunately!” Rachel said.

“Hey, she’s my friend!” Sasha said.

“She’s not good for you. The last time she was around you, you ended up getting arrested”.

“It was fun!! And we got released in like 2 minutes. So??”

“I still don’t like her for you”.

“Well, she’s your boyfriend’s sister. So you can’t keep her away”, Sasha said and she started dancing.

“Adriana is coming, Adriana is coming” and Alicia burst out laughing.

“I want to do something special for him. What do you think I should do?” Rachel asked.

“Throw him a welcome party”, Alicia said.

“Yeah and after that, you can give him a good awesome night”, Sasha said, winking.

“I’ll throw him one of the biggest welcome parties ever!” Rachel said and they all jumped up in excitement.

Sasha was in Ross’ house and they were both watching a movie. As they were watching the movie, Ross drifted off to sleep.

“Ross! I’m showing you one of my favorite movies and you’re sleeping?!” She exclaimed.

“Sleeping? No way! I wasn’t sleeping”.

“You were sleeping!”

“I wasn’t”.

“Okay. Tell me what was the last scene?” She asked and she paused the movie.

“Uhhh.. he killed her?!”

“You liar. You’re always doing this to me, Phil!”

“Phil? Who’s Phil?” He asked and she was confused.

“Why are you mentioning his name?” She asked.

“Me? You said Phil! Not me”.

“Ohh sorry”.

“Who’s that?”

“It’s Philip”.

“Why on earth will you call me by your dead ex’s name?”

“It was just a slip of tongue”.

“A slip of tongue? Oh wait. You’re not over him?”

“Can we not talk about this?”

“No. We’re going to talk about how you’ve still got feelings for someone who is dead”.

“I don’t want to talk about it”.

“If it was the other way around, you’ll be on my neck!”

“Just let it go. Phi…I mean Ross”.

“Oh my God”.

“It’s not my fault. He’s been on my mind lately and I’ve been having dreams about him”.

“Oh great. You know what. I’ll drop it and I’m going to bed”, he said and he walked away.
