âSashaâ, he called out and she increased her pace.
âDo you know her? Who is she?â
âI just want to get out of here. Iâm feeling so sick to my stomachâ.
âSasha, please let me talk to you for a minuteâ, Adriana said to her as she also rushed out of the house.
âGet out! I donât want to ever see your face!â
âSasha I didnât know that he was your dad. Câmonâ.
âJust leave!!!â
âSasha, I honestly didnât know. Why would I ever do that to you especially when Iâm cool with your mumâ.
âHanson unlock the carâ she exclaimed and he unlocked it.
âSasha pleaseâ, she said to her and Sasha got into the car. Hanson sparked the car and drove off.
âWhere do you want to go?â He asked her.
âJust go anywhere. I donât know!â She exclaimed and he kept driving.
âYou know what? Just park here?â
âIn the middle of the road?â
âJust park at the corner thereâ.
âWhat will you do there?â
âHanson please donât let me take my anger out on you. Please just park, I need some airâ, she said to him and he parked at the corner of the road. She got off and started walking away.
âSasha please get back into the car. Itâs late and youâre not even close to home. Let me just take you homeâ, she said to him and she continued to walk.
âSasha!!!â He said, getting out of the car and he ran after her.
âSasha, let me just take you homeâ.
âLeave me alone! What is your problem?! I said I need some space, donât you get it!â She said, yelling at him and it pissed him off.
He didnât say a word to her and he walked away. He got into his car and drove off.
Sasha sat on the road side and screamed. She was so angry that her dad was still messing around with young girls and she was more angry that he was messing with Adriana.
She was contemplating on going back to her dadâs house and lashing out in the two of them or just going home to cry it out.
She took out her phone and scrolled through her call log as she thought of who to call.
She decided to call Mavis but Mavis didnât pick up. She called Hanson and he ignored her and sent a text.
âIâm almost home, if you want to go home, request a cabâ.
âI just want to talkâ, she sent back to him but he ignored her.
She tried to call him again and he didnât pick up.
âI will just go home thenâ, she said to herself and she requested a cab.
When she got home, she went to her mumâs room tell her what happened.
âMumâ, she said, climbing her bed and lying next to her.
âSasha are you okay?â
âHeâs started again. Heâs started sleeping with girls my ageâ.
âWho?â
âDad!â
âOh him, itâs no news. Why are you so bothered?â
âItâs Adriana mum!â
âWhat?â
âYes! Hanson and I were having an apology dinner with him and then she just walked in, calling him baby and kissing himâ.
âWow. ThatâsâŠâŠ.a lotâ.
âAnd she claimed that she didnât know that he was my dad but I donât believe herâ.
âHmm. I get how disturbing it is for you. I mean itâs also quite disturbing for me. My ex husband sleeping with my daughterâs friendâ.
âWhatâs more annoying is that why would he let her come to our dinner. Couldnât he just keep his whores away for just that evening?â
âI donât know what to say but Sasha, youâve got to find a way to stop letting what your dad does affect you. Heâs his own man and youâre your own woman. Whatever he does is his problem and not yours or oursâ.
âItâs still difficult. I used to look up to him a lot. I still do and itâs just sad that heâs making me lose so much respect for himâ.
âHeâs your dad and youâre always going to have some kind of respect for him. Just accept that this is who he is and in that way, whatever he does wonât affect you anymoreâ.
âHmmâ.
âWhereâs Hanson? Or has he left?â
âWe got into a fight and he left meâ.
âHanson? What did you? Because I know that sweet boy doesnât get angry easilyâ.
âI yelled at him and asked him to leave me aloneâ.
âSo you put your anger and frustration on him?â
âKind of but Iâll apologize to him before going to bedâ.
âHmm you should. But youâve got to stop doing that. He may be sweet and forgiving but heâs still a man, learn to respect him and donât put your frustration on himâ.
âI respect him mum, I was just so upsetâ.
âHmm. But I hope you didnât lash out at your dad or herâ.
âI didnât and thatâs why I wanted some space to lash out into the air but Hanson just kept asking me questions and it annoyed meâ.
âHe was just being nice and showing some care. Anyway Iâm glad you kept your cool with your dad. I guess the therapy is workingâ.
âMaybe, Iâm going to bed. Goodnightâ, she said, pecking her mum and she left.
After taking a cold shower, she laid on her bed and took out her phone.
She called Hanson and he picked up.
âAre you home?â He asked her.
âYeah. I got home some minutes agoâ.
âGreat. Have a good nightâ.
âHanson wait. Iâm so sorry for my behavior today, I know you were just trying to be there for me and I ended up taking out my frustration on you. Iâm really really sorry and I would not do that againâ.
âOkay, no problemâ.
âOh, you donât sound like youâve accepted my apologyâ.
âI have but I just want to sleep it offâ.
âHmm, can I come over?â
âNo Sasha, weâll talk tomorrow. Good nightâ, he said and he hung up.
Sasha was quite upset but she shook it off and went back to sleep.
Sally was in her room, applying her makeup when Sasha walked in.
âOh Lord. Canât you knock?â Sally asked her. âI really need to get my own placeâ, she said, rolling her eyes.
âThat color suits youâ, Sasha said to her.
âWhat color?â
âThe nude lipstickâ.
âOh please. The red suits me better. It makes me look hotâ.
âSlutty not hotâ.
âI like it like thatâ.
âI think the nude brings out your eyes. The red draws attention to just your lips. Youâve got lovely eyes you knowâ.
âAre you here to lecture me about makeup?â
âOh no. I was just taking a walk around the house and I decided to stop by. Itâs been a while since I came to your roomâ.
âOh okayâ, she said, putting on her wig.
âThatâs a nice wigâ.
âThank you. I just got it yesterdayâ.
âWow. Itâs really nice. Youâve got great tasteâ.
âI just got it because I saw Lisa like it on Instagram and I just wanted to get it before herâ.
âWow. Do you always have to be in competition with everyone?â
âNo one competes with me. Iâm the competitionâ, she said, smirking.
âOf course you are. Youâre beautiful, intelligent, smart, hot and youâve got a lovely family. Who wouldnât want to compete with that?â
âMmm, youâve given me a lot of compliments this morning. What side of my bed did I sleep on?â She said, looking at her bed.
âOh I really mean themâ.
âThank you. I got to goâ, she said and she walked out of the room.
Hanson was at home with a couple of people and he was teaching them his new recipe in his kitchen. As he was doing that, Sasha walked in and hugged him from behind.
âHow did youâŠ. yeah youâve got my keyâ, he said to himself.
âIâm sorryâ, she said to him.
âExcuse meâ, he said to them and he walked to his living room with Sasha who was still holding onto him.
âIâm sweaty. Youâre going to mess up your outfitâ.
âI donât care and you smell like chickenâ, she said, sniffing him and he laughed.
âOkay okay. Can you leave my back and let me see your pretty faceâ, he said to her and she released her grip of him and he turned around to face her.
âIâm really sorry Hansonâ.
âItâs fine. Iâve forgiven youâ, he said to her and she hugged him.
âThank youâ, she said, smiling. âYou really do smell like chickenâ, she said to him and he laughed.
âYour place feels so hotâ.
âYeah, itâs because of what weâre doing in the kitchen. Iâm teaching those three guys some of the recipes of my new restaurantâ.
âAww, I canât believe itâs happeningâ, she said, smiling.
âMe tooâ.
âI think you should get an AC. This place is too hotâ she said to him.
âOh not for this small place. Maybe when I move out of hereâ.
âYou plan on moving outâ?
âOf course. Who would want to stay here forever. Itâs not happening now though. In the near futureâ, he said to her.
âOkay and you know who to come to when youâre ready to search for a place?â She said, wiggling her brows.
âYes my princessâ, he said, bowing and she laughed.
âAnyway, I have to go to the office now. Iâll see you after workâ.
âOkay and uhm, my mum got back to me and she said we can come. So I was thinking that we can leave on Friday and get back on Sunday after church. What do you think?â
âThatâs great!! I canât waitâ, she said in excitement.
âAlright, Friday it isâ, he said to her and she smiled.
âIâll see you laterâ, she said, pecking him and she left.
Later in the afternoon, Sasha went to the clinic for her appointment.
She told Mavis what happened at her dadâs place and what happened with Hanson too.
âIâm really glad you two are fine now. Youâve got a good man Sasha, donât mess it upâ.
âI wonât. I will never lash out on him again. Iâm really in love with this guy and everyday he makes me love him more and sometimes I just want to explodeâ, she said, grinning.
âI know that feeling and Iâm so happy for youâ.
âYeah and it also increases the sexual drive. Sometimes I look at him and I just want to pounce on himâ.
âEasy easyâ, Mavis said, laughing.
âI honestly donât know how he holds himself back. Sometimes I feel like maybe he doesnât find me attractive or somethingâ.
âOh I donât think itâs like that. Iâm sure heâs also suffering but itâs all for the better goodâ.
âYeah. Sometimes I just want to go to the registry with him and get married so that we can get on with itâ, she said and Mavis laughed.
âYouâre something else Sashaâ.
âIâve also been waiting for him to pop the question. I know weâve been dating for less than 6 months but it just feels like Iâve known him forever. I really wish that heâll pop the questionâ.
âIâm sure he will at the right time. Heâs still getting his life together. Just give him sometimeâ.
âYeaaahh, I guess so. And before I forget, weâll be going to his parentâs place this Fridayâ.
âOh really. Thatâs amazingâ.
âYeah but Iâm nervous. What if I say the wrong thing or what if the mother doesnât like meâ.
âOh donât think that way. Be positive and Iâm sure things would fall in place. Also pray about itâ.
âHmm, I willâ.
They talked for a while and then she left.
On her way out, she also saw Ross leaving too.
âHeyâ she called out to him.
âHey Sashaâ, he said to her.
âI still find it weird seeing you hereâ, she said to him.
âYeah, me tooâ.
âSo howâs therapy going?â
âItâs going well I guessâ.
âMmm, Iâm sure after a while, you would start feeling some changes and then you would love itâ.
âHmmm. Howâs yours going? You seem quite happyâ.
âOh yeah. Mine is going so well although it would be ending soonâ.
âReally?â
âYeahhhâ.
âOh I see, it would be sad not to see you here againâ, he said to her.
âIt would be better for youâ, she said to him.
âYeah, maybeâ.
âIâve got to go. Iâm so hungryâ.
âMe too. Is there a restaurant near by?â he asked.
âYeah but I donât think you should go there. The food there sucksâ.
âMmm, where would you be going to eat then?â He asked her.
âI donât know. Iâll just have my PA order somethingâ.
âOr we could just pass by my hotel and you can eat over thereâ.
âOh, Iâm good. Donât worryâ.
âItâd be on the houseâ.
âReally? Do you think itâs about the money?â
âOh of course not. But Iâm just saying and itâs another way of making things right with youâ.
âRoss donât worry. Iâm good and Iâve completely forgiven you and weâre good tooâ.
âSasha câmon. Itâs just food and your favorite is on the menu today. Just this once and Iâll stay out of your hair. I just want someone to talk to about this whole therapy thingâ.
âHmm. Just this once and thatâs itâ.
âGreat!â
âYeah. So take the lead and Iâll be right behind youâ, she said to him and he nodded.
They both arrived at his hotel and he walked her to the restaurant.
As they took their seat, the food was already being served.
âWow. So fast?â
âI already made the orders before we got hereâ.
âI seeâ, she said, sipping the drink which was on the table.
âSo yeah. Howâs the therapy going?â She asked him.
âNot too good, I guessâ.
âOh, maybe itâs your therapist. You could switch to mine. Sheâs the bestâ.
âI donât think itâs the therapist. Itâs youâ.
âMe?â
âIâm supposed to get over you and all but itâs quite difficultâ.
âOoh, then you shouldnât be hanging out with me. It wouldnât help youâ.
âI canât stop myself from hanging out with you. I fell so hard for you Sasha and itâs so difficult to get rid of my feelingsâ.
âI donât think you should be talking to me about thisâ, she said, feeling uncomfortable.
âIâm sorry. I just donât have anyone to talk to about thisâ.
âYou have your therapist. Just let her in and sheâll help youâ.
âSo you really want me to get over youâ.
âItâs for your own good. You have to move on Rossâ.
âHmm. Okayâ, he said to her.
âHey babyâ, a lady said, walking towards them and she pecked him on the lip.
Sasha looked away and concentrated on her food.
âIâve been waiting for you all day. You left me in bedâ, she said to him.
âIâll be right there with you soonâ, he said to her.
âOkay. Iâll be waiting for you in my birthday suitâ, she said, kissing him.
âGet it ready for meâ, he said and she left.
âIâm sorry about thatâ, he said and Sasha ignored him.
âI think Iâm okay now. Iâll like to take my leaveâ, she said, wiping her hands.
âSo soon?â
âYouâve got something to get to. Iâm just releasing youâ.
âOh it can waitâ.
âOh donât worry. Iâll just go and let you get back to whoever is on your bed waitingâ.
âIf you want, I can tell her to leaveâ.
âRoss, itâs not my businessâ.
âYou seem jealous and I would never want to make you jealousâ.
âGet over yourself. Iâm not jealous, Iâm just uncomfortable. Whereâs the ladies room?â She asked and he pointed in the direction.
âSee you some other day Rossâ, she said and she walked to the ladies room.
She stood in front of the mirror and turned on the tap to wash her face. As she was washing her face, Ross walked in and hugged her from behind.
âRoss?! What are you doing?â
âI know you want me. I can see it but youâre just scared to admit itâ, he said as he pecked her neck.
âGet your hands off me!â
âSasha stop trying to resist. I heard that Hanson doesnât even touch you. Donât you see that he doesnât want you. I want you and I can please you in every way you want and make you happyâ, he said to her she tried to remove his hands but she couldnât.
âRoss!!! I would scream! Get your hands off me!â She said to him.
âSasha canât you see that Iâm head over heels for youâ, he said and she started screaming.
He quickly released his hands and she turned around and slapped him.
âYou make me sick!!â She exclaimed and she walked away.
