âSasha Iâm so sorry. Pleaseeeâ, Adriana said, walking towards her.
âIâm not going to let anyone spoil my mood today. Baby letâs goâ, Sasha said, getting into her car.
âIâm sorry Sashaâ, Adriana said as she approached the window side.
âCome here Annaâ, Ann said to her.
âI just want her to forgive me. I didnât know that he was her dadâ, Adriana said to her.
âJust come hereâ, she said to her and Adriana walked up to her.
Hanson reversed the car and he drove off.
âSheâs never going to forgive meâ, Adriana said, tearing up.
âYou should give her some time. She just needs space and sheâll come aroundâ.
âIâm also sorry for doing that, I promise you that I didnât know and Iâve not slept with him and Iâve even ended thingsâ.
âItâs fine but why did you start doing old men?â
âI donât even know. All the guys Iâve dated are just the worst and I was actually going to give up till I met Fred at a program. He spoke to me and said very nice things to me and I found him attractive too and I just went along, he also made it clear to me that he wasnât married and so I got along more. It had just been one week since we started seeing each other before the whole incident with Sasha happenedâ.
âHmm. Itâs okay. Iâm not going to judge you but just lay off on Sasha for nowâ.
âDo you think sheâll ever forgive me?â
âI donât know. Just give her timeâ.
âOkay, thank youâ.
âDo you want something to drink? Or eat?â
âYeahâ, she said, nodding and they both went into the house.
Hanson and Sasha were on the road and he played some music and they had a sing along.
âI didnât know that you loved gospel musicâ, he said to her.
âMy grandmother buried us with it each time she visited. So yeah, I like themâ.
âMmm, then itâs just the old ones you know. I have to update youâ.
âYeahhh, but Iâm more of the praises and worship song typeâ, she said and he was surprised.
âWow! Thatâs awesome. I thought you were going to be like the new generation who want hip hop and all thatâ.
âIâm not a hip hop fanâ.
âI see. Let me play some new songs for you thenâ, he said and he changed the song.
She nodded her head as it played and put her hands in the air.
âDo you like it?â
âOh yeah. Itâs niceâ, she said to him and he smiled.
After driving for hours, Sasha started looking around.
âWhat is it?â He asked her.
âI want to peeâ.
âWe just passed by a fuel station some minutes ago, you should have said it at that time and it doesnât look like thereâs one aheadâ.
âBut Iâm so pressedâ, she said, whining.
âCanât you hold it?â
âNoâ, she said, whining.
âOkay, Iâll just park here and then you can pee in the bushâ, he said, stopping the car.
âPee in the bush? No way!â
âThereâs no other choice or you can just pee by the carâ.
âNo! people would see meâ, she said whining.
âNo one will see you. There are not much cars passingâ, he said and one car passed.
âYou see!â
âThen youâll have to pee in the bush. Iâll accompany youâ.
âI canât pee in the bush. What if something bites me or what if something comes from no whereâ.
âSasha, then you would have to hold itâ.
âI canâtâ.
âThen please letâs look for a place in the bush. Iâll make sure I observe the place before you peeâ, he said to her.
âSo am I supposed to squat or what?â
âI donât know, whatever style youâre comfortable with?â
âYou want me to stand? I canât stand and pee, Iâm wearing trousersâ.
âThen you would have to squatâ.
âI canât squat in a bushâ, she said, whining.
âOh Lord, so what do you want to do? Itâs either here or the bush?â He said to her and she looked around and saw more cars passing by.
âLetâs go to the bushâ, she said to him and they both got off the car.
He held her hands and walked into the bush as they searched for a cool place for her to pee.
âI think here is fineâ, he said to her.
âAre you sure?â
âYeah. Itâs a clear path. Thereâs no grass hereâ.
âAnd nothing is going to come out from the bushes?â
âThis isnât a jungle. Sasha just peeâ, he said, getting frustrated.
âOkay okay fineâ, she said and he turned around and was walking away.
âWhere are you going to?â She asked.
âIâm going to wait by the tree over thereâ.
âNo, stay with meâ, she said to him.
âThe tree is just here. Iâm still with youâ.
âOkayâ, he said walking away.
âWait! I left my wipes in the carâ.
âWipes? What do you need it for?â
âTo clean up after peeingâ.
âOh, Iâve got tissue in my pocket, hereâ, he said, walking back and handing it over to her.
âNo, I donât use tissue. I want my wipesâ.
âUgghh. Fine, let me go get it for you, which side did you put it?â
âItâs in my hand bag at the back seatâ.
âOkayâ, he said, walking away.
âAre you going to leave me here?â
âDo you want to come with me?â
âUghh Sasha, do you want to come with me?â
âJust give me the tissue, youâre acting like Iâm frustrating youâ.
âYouâre acting like a big baby and itâs getting me all worked upâ.
âIâve never peed in a bush and I donât use tissue. Howâs that frustrating?â
âFine! Come with me thenâ.
âYou go, Iâll waitâ.
âYou sure?â He asked and she nodded.
âTake my hand sanitizer tooâ, she exclaimed.
He went back to the car, took the wipes and he got back, he saw that she had taken her trousers off.
âSasha!!â He exclaimed.
âDid you bring it?â She asked and he gave it to her. âPlease hold this for meâ, she said, giving him her pair of trousers.
âWhy did you have to take it off?â He asked, trying to focus on just her face.
âYou said I should squat. I canât squat in those pantsâ.
âSo you felt itâs better to be in your panties in front of me?â
âI had no choiceâ she said, shrugging and he shook his head. He walked to the tree with her trousers on his shoulders and waited for her.
âIâm doneâ, she said, walking up to him. He gave her the trousers and walked away.
âWait for meâ, she exclaimed and he ignored her.
âWhy are you behaving like that?â She asked as she got into the car.
âAre you asking me?â
âIt was just panties. I wasnât nakedâ.
âYou could have just waited for me to get back and walk to the tree before taking it offâ.
âI was pressed and I just took it offâ.
âOkay. Now Iâd have to fight my mind and try not to imagine things. Thank youâ.
âIâm sorry, I didnât think that it was a big dealâ.
âItâs fineâ, he said to her and the whole ride was silent till they stopped by a fuel station.
âIs your house still far?â She asked.
âNo, weâll be there in the next 30 minutesâ.
âOkayâ.
âAre you tired already?â He asked her.
âYeahâ.
âYou can got to the back seat and take a napâ, he said to her.
âNo, Iâm fine. Itâs just 30 minutes. I can manage thatâ.
âOkayâ.
When he was done filling up the tank, he drove off.
They finally arrived at his parentâs house and Sasha was so nervous.
âOh my God. Iâm so nervous, Iâve not had to meet any guyâs parents beforeâ, she said to him.
âDonât worry, youâll be fine. Just be yourself and I promise you, theyâll love youâ, he said to her and she nodded.
âLetâs goâ, he said to her.
âWhat about our luggages?â
âIâll come for it later or my younger brother will come for itâ.
âOkayâ, she said and she stepped out of the car.
âWait waitâ, she said, taking a wine bottle and a box from the car.
âWhatâs in the box?â He asked.
âI bought some snacks for your brotherâ, she said to him and he was surprised.
âWow, thatâs really thoughtful of youâ, he said to her and and she smiled.
âI hope itâs not too muchâ.
âOh, itâs fine. My parents love wine, so theyâll be glad you bought one for them and my brother is a sweet tooth, so heâll love the snacks tooâ.
âGreat. Is your sister here too?â
âYeah. She came over because of youâ.
âOkay cos I bought some snacks for her tooâ.
âGreat. Sheâll love itâ, he said and he helped her with the box. They walked towards the door and he pressed the bell.
âHanny!!â A lady who looked a bit older than Hanson exclaimed and she hugged him in excitement.
âHiâ, she said to Sasha and she hugged her too.
âMum, theyâre hereâ, she exclaimed as they walked in.
âLet me have thatâ, she said, taking the box from his hands.
âTheyâre from Sashaâ, he said.
âOoh thank you so much darlingâ.
âYouâre welcomeâ.
Hansonâs mum came out and he ran quickly to hug her.
âHannyâ, she said, hugging him tight.
âAnd this must be Sashaâ, she said and she walked up to Sasha and hugged her.
âYouâre welcome honeyâ, she said, hugging her.
âThank you. This is for you and for Mr Carrâ, she said and she gave the wine to her.
âAww, thank you so much honeyâ.
âWhereâs dad?â Hanson asked.
âIâm right hereâ, he said in his husky voice and Hanson hugged him.
âHiâ, Sasha said to him.
âHi my dearâ, he said to her and he hugged her.
âYouâre welcomeâ, he said to her.
âThank you sirâ, she said to him.
âMargaret, I hope the food is ready?â His mum said to his sister.
âYeah, it is. Letâs all come to the dinning tableâ, she said and they all walked to the dinning table.
âWhereâs Junior?â Hanson asked.
âDoing God knows what in his roomâ, His dad said to him.
âIâll be right backâ, Hanson said and he left.
He opened his brotherâs room and saw that he and headphones on his head as he was playing games.
Hanson jumped in front of him and it got him scared.
âOh my God! Hanson!!!â He exclaimed when he saw him and he got up to hug him.
âWhen did you come?â
âJust some few minutes ago. Weâre about to eat and weâre waiting for youâ.
âOh Iâll be there soon. Let me just wrap up with this gameâ, he said and Hanson nodded.
âAlrightâ, he said and he left.
As they were all eating, they all asked Sasha questions to get to know her.
âSo you live in a big mansionâ, Junior said to her.
âHere he goesâ, Margaret said, laughing.
âItâs not too big but yeahâ.
âI heard you have two pools in your houseâ, he said, grinning.
âHey, I never told you that. How did you know?â Hanson asked him.
âI did my researchâ, he said, wiggling his brows and Sasha laughed.
âYeah we do and youâre welcome to come anytime. My sisters would be happy to have you tooâ, she said to him.
âI was really impressed when Hanson told me that you owned your own company. Itâs not everyone who was born into riches like you who do start up their own company. Most of them just enjoy whatâs already thereâ.
âYeah, it happened due to certain things but Iâm glad I did itâ.
âAre you hiring?â Junior asked.
âBoy, go to the university firstâ, His dad said to him and they all laughed.
âIs there a reason why youâre still staying with your mum?â His mum asked.
âYeah, I just want to be around her and my siblings till I actually get marriedâ.
âAww, I wish someone here felt the same wayâ, She said, smiling and everyone laughed.
âMum, I had to move out because of my workâ, Margaret said to her.
âYou can still come on weekends but you donât. When you get married, I wonder what would happen, weâll only see you during the leap yearâ, she said and they all laughed.
âAbout that..â Margaret said, smiling and they all looked at each other.
âIâm engaged!!â She said, flashing her ring in their faces.
âWow!!â Hanson exclaimed and they all yelled in excitement.
âAww, He finally proposedâ, Hansonâs mother said, smiling.
âI knew it. You all knew about itâ, she said, glaring at them.
âWe couldnât ruin a gentlemanâs prepared surpriseâ, Hansonâs dad said, smiling.
âCongratulations Margaret????â, Sasha said to her.
âThank you darlingâ.
They talked for a while about Margaretâs new status till Hansonâs dad popped up a question for Sasha.
âSo how do you feel about his status in the society. Hasnât it bothered you that youâre richer than himâ.
âWell, honestly at first, I thought about it and I was like why do I need him to be rich? I already have all the money I want and I believe so much in him that heâd have all the money he wants in this world. Hanson isnât lazy, heâs a hustler. Money doesnât really matter to me. All the men I dated had a lot and it still didnât keep me in my relationship. I just wanted a bestfriend, a partner and someone I could rely on and Hanson just popped out of no where and he was just it!â
âWow, I seeâ.
âAwwâ, Margaret said, smiling.
âSo how did your parents take it?â He asked.
âUhm, my mum was excited to meet him and she loves him so much already. They had a cook out, some weeks agoâ.
âWow, thatâs niceâ, his mother said to her.
âAnd my dad didnât take it too well but he came around eventuallyâ.
âOh yeah. I wouldnât also have been too comfortable if I was in his shoesâ, Hansonâs dad said to her.
âBut Iâm glad heâs okayâ.
âYeahâ.
They talked for a long while until it was late.
âWeâll be going to bed now and weâll see you tomorrow morning and talk moreâ, Hansonâs mum said you her.
âOkay, have a good nightâ, Sasha said, pecking her on the cheek and she hugged his dad.
âHanson, you remember the rules of this house?â Hansonâs dad said to him and he was confused.
âYou donât share a room with the opposite sex. So make sure you sleep in your brotherâs roomâ, he said and Hanson laughed.
âOf course dad. I wouldnât sleep in the same room with herâ.
âIâll be watchingâ, he said and he left.
âJunior please go and get our stuff from the carâ, he said and his brother quickly ran out to get it.
âGood night love birds. Sasha Iâll see you tomorrow and I can see you around town tooâ, Margaret said to her and she nodded.
âIâd love that. Goodnightâ.
âGoodnight Margaretâ, Hanson said and she left.
Junior walked in with a look on his face.
âWhat is it?â Hanson asked.
âAre you two spending a week here?â He asked and they both laughed.
âItâs all Sashaâs. She couldnât decide on what to pickâ.
âOh. For Sasha, I would do anythingâ, he said and he rushed back to bring the luggages.
âPut them all in my roomâ, he said to him and he did as he was told.
âGoodnight Sashaâ, he said to her.
âGoodnight Juniorâ, she said to him and he left.
âIâm in love with your familyâ, Sasha said to him.
âI told you that theyâd love youâ.
âTheyâre the best and theyâre so fun. Your parents are extremely nice people, no wonder they raised awesome kids like you and your siblingsâ.
âAww, thank youâ.
âI think our mums would get along so wellâ, Sasha said, smiling.
âYeahâ.
âAnd for our dads, I donât think soâ.
âYou never know what can happenâ, he said to her.
âOh please. I know my dad. That man, hmmâ, she said and he laughed.
âArenât you tired?â He asked her.
âI amâ.
âThen you should take a shower and go to bedâ.
âOkay. Whereâs your room?â She asked and he walked her to the room.
âIâm watching you!â His father exclaimed from his room and Sasha laughed.
âI love your dadâ, she said, laughing.
âHeâs always embarrassing meâ, Hanson said, rolling his eyes.
âSo the bathroom is there and Iâm sure you have everything you need in your plenty suitcasesâ.
âYeahâ, she said, smiling.
âGoodnight Sashaâ, he said, pecking her on her cheek.
âGoodnight babyâ, she said, hugging him.
âIâm goingâ, he said and she didnât release her hands.
âI want you to stay hereâ, she said, holding onto him.
âSasha, we canât sleep in the same room, I wouldnât be able to keep my hand to myselfâ, he said to her.
âPleaseâ, she said to him.
âIâm watching you!â His dad exclaimed and Sasha laughed.
âI forgot about himâ, she said, laughing.
âBye babyâ, he said, pecking her on her forehead.
âYou just called me baby. Thatâs a firstâ, she said, smiling.
âI love youâ, he said and he left the room.
Sasha was in Hansonâs room sleeping when a lady walked in, yelling Hansonâs name in excitement.
âHan!!â She exclaimed and it woke Sasha up.
âThis isnât Hanâ, Sasha said, angrily at whoever was standing there.
âWhereâs he? And what are you doing in his bed?â The lady asked.
âWho are you?â Sasha asked and Hanson walked in.
âHanny!!â The girl exclaimed and she jumped on him, hugging him.
Sasha sat up and lifted one of her brows.
âWho the hell is she?!â She asked.
