The Secretary

Read Story: SEASON 1 EPISODE 13

I was having the best shower in my life. Meeting Kate today was the best thing so far that day and well, things did happen, infact a great one. I was stepping out of the tub when my dog came in with my ringing mobile gently but firmly held between his teeths.

I bent over to retrieve the phone and when i checked the caller, it was my secret admirer again.

I ran quickly to my room holding the phone like a life line in my hands.

Quickly, i connected Tony and i patched him in through to the call so he would hear the conversation too.

“Long time no see, shadow” shadow was the name i gave my stalker.

“Well, rich boy, i must admit i was away for too long but you know, ruining you wasnt a very easy thing so i had to take my time.”

That really scared me, as in its f—–g insane – wanting to be destroyed by who you dont even know!.

“And”he continued “i was just going destroy you to bits but now you’ve f—-d up big time – you’ve taken whats mine so you’ve invited death and trust me, i’ll deliver sweetly rich boy” and with that, he hung up. Almost immediately, Tony’s voice came up on the other line.

“Steve, this is not a child’s play”

“Yeah, i know and now i’m really concerned and scared”

“No..dont be, the game has just began and you’re scared already… Look, i cant gaurantee you that you’ll make it out alive, the way you face the situation will determine”

Thats the truth and nothing more, now was not the time to be scared..No.

One more thing…

“Tony, do you think this has anything to do with Kate?”

“I wouldn’t know son….”

“alright…. I’ll be alert on the ears now…. But Tony dont you think we should prepare too?”

He laughed at the other end before he spoke

“Now thats the boy i trained” he paused a bit before he spoke again “How good are you with the Fork ‘n knife?”

I broke a brave smile..

“well, i could still load and click a headshot, so what ya say?”

“ah say lets get these bastards!”

my dog pushed his head into my hand to signify hes in too but i couldnt risk putting his life in danger again – i did once already.

Almost immediately i dropped the call, my phone bleeped a message notification from kate –

STEVE, WE NEED TO TALK ASAP…ALONE….love garden 3..

I knew fully well, that i was being watched, i made a plan B backup by calling Tony to inform him of my meeting with Kate and he suggested i dropped by at his house.

I met with tony and we had a little chat before he led me to a secret room in his house and when he entered the password at the door post , the door opened and man, i saw guns!

“its not time for those yet,”

Guess he noticed the way i stared at the guns.

“right now, we need to hook you up”

I didnt understand what he meant until he began to attach little micro buds into me ears . Later, he brought out a small bow tie for me to use, needless to say, it had a camera on it already.

Immediately the devices were connected, a big screen in the room came on displaying enctypted codes. Tony expertly sat in the provided chair as he ran his hands all over the keyboard and in no time, he bypassed the electronic fire wall and boom, the devices activated and the bow tie camera came on and after a few words, i head off to meet kate…
