The Secretary

Read Story: SEASON 1 EPISODE 20

We tracked the signal to an underground building located at the far end on the site. We moved steathly as tho there were gaurds but there was none.

We located the underground and luckily for us, the big heavy slab covering the steps had been broken at the lock and the impact was still new and that gave me hope again.

We got into the tunnel with a very long step leading to a very big workshop. There were gaurds actually- 5 of them. First, we traced out Kates location and its just after a passage leading into a room. The problem is getting past these gaurds

Quietly, we moved after Tony decided we go seperately.

I made for the stairs leading to the passage which was gaurded by one man. I stalked him for a while thinking how best i should approach him – i wouldn’t wanna announce myself loudly.

I checked around and i got a iron bar, i tossed it a few yards the way i came and immediately i went behind some shelves.

The gaurd turned almost immediately at the sound of a clanging metal.

“Who’s there!?” he shouted and because he didnt get any reply, he began to walk towards the stairs and past me. I made sure his gun was nosed forward right in front of me before i dashed out of my spot to hit the gun off his hand with a bar leaving him holding his wrist in pain.

I advanced again this time hitting him really hard on the head making him crumble into a deep a sleep.

I sighed wella before heading into the passage and i whistled my dog along.

Tony manouvered his way quietly to the back of a sleeping gaurd and without making a noise, he snapped his neck in just one click.

There were three more gaurds to go now. Actually, they really didnt matter as they were not in areas where they(steve and him)might wanna go but he still remained there to keep watch.

At the end of the long passage, is a big room with a roof door leading to the roof of the building.

Kate is tied to a chair facing Dan with a Lady also in the room.

“See?… I told you, your rich boyfriend wont be coming for you”

Dan mocked as he puffed his cigar causing Kate to twitch her nose.

“so, do not let us waste time,…give me the chip and i’ll let you live”

“and of course you know, that your boyfriend is dead or will soon be anytime from now”

Those words struck kate so much.. Even though she and steve had had a fight the last day they saw eachother at the park, she still had that little faith that Dan wasnt going to win otherwise, she would have released the chip. Now that steve is dead, there is nothing to hold on to anymore so why prolong her death.

Okay, Dan was tired of her games now!…

“Kate, give me the chip!”

He demanded angrily, he stood up from his seat, got a knife.

“I promise you, after this, you would beg me to have the chip but i wont!..you b—h!”

He caught her by her hair, was about dragging her up when he remebered she has been tied to the chair. He hissed loudly.

“You” he pointed at the lady “untie the ropes…i wanna take on a pleasure trip” as he said that, he had a wicked grin on his lips as he shone the knife in Kate’s face.

After the ropes were off, he bent between her legs, brought the knife close to her v—-a and was about it in…

“Stop please!” kate pleaded dejectedly..as in, she thought it wasnt going to be this way, she thought steve would arrive , she thought Dan would loose but steve?..steve is dead.

“I will give you the chip”

Dan looked up from between her legs and smiled at her.

He moved closer to her and planted a kiss on her lips.

“Good girl… I used to think you betrayed me but no!…you’re a Godsent baby doll”

Slowly, she brought her hands up to her hair and she worked her fingers in it before bringing out a micro chip.

Quickly, Dan snatched it from her.

“Well, its a pity i wont get to kill you now as there isnt much time… I have a contract to win”

“you clean her up and bring her to the mansion” he ordered the lady and with that, he began to pack out of the room.

I and my dog still walked in the passage which led to a big rolling blade for vent i almost thought it was a dead end but when i looked closer, there was a shrap corner just before the rolling fan.

I traced the wall with my hand for any door.

We were very close to the rolling fan at the end of the hall when we heard a growl or like a roar.

Kinda funny but we continued and then it came again, nearer this time. I looked at my dog who by now had gone gaga – his fur had stood erect and his teeth hung out dangerously, the furbaby i once had was no where to be found but now a savage dog. That scared me and when i looked up, there was another dog Gbam! A rot weiler infact a bigger one with his tongue drooling like forever.

He growled at us and began to walk towards us. WTF!…i looked at my dog who was equally growling and snarling as he moved over to my front. I knew what he meant – Go on steve!
