I knew what he meant – Go on steve!

The dog charged madly at us and on my command , i and my dog gbera too. The closer we got, i could hear the dog snarling his teeth like a mad man. I calculated its movement and well, theres nothing new so at the count of three he launched speedily at us- i knew he was gonna fly at us so on my count, I and my dog docked as he flew above our heads.

He turned towards us immediately he landed on the other side and was about coming again when my Dog stepped in bravely making the other dog stop in his tracks.. Sparrow gave me a look which i didnt wanna see – hes gone through this before – sacrificing his life once again. Quickly, i turned around and headed for the room as i carefully avoided the rolling fan…

Kate looked on as Dan climbed out through the roof door. She dropped her head dejectedly as Dan’s foot hit the roofing sheet away. Poli- the lady who’s been standing all the while came over to kate’s front smiling wickedly like the devil.

“remember i told you that if you flopped, i will run your water myself”

Kate was growing weak now.

“but….you had…your ord…ers”

Kate managed to say.

“oh right… But you know what?…i want you dead.i hate it when Dan spends time with you.”

“You fool!” kate cursed ” its not worth fighting for… There aint no pleasure in his jerkings..just pain”

“i dont care!” poli retorted sharply “and so pls die gently”

Kate never imagined her death would come so soon. She thought her relationship with Steve would be bright. Infact, she had thought when all of this was over, she was gonna leave the city but did she even think it would be over at all?. Actually, not that she wanted to be a spy, She was young, beautiful, desperate in search of a job so when she met Dan, she had no choice to be his sex machine if she was to get a job and later, she became so imprisoned in her own world that she automatically became his Dog.

Poli got a polythene bag, showed it wickedly before Kate’s face before she forcefully wore it on kate’s head.

Kate fought hard but it was useless, her hands were tied and gradually, she began to suffocate and then suddenly…

She saw someone, a man, moving very swiftly towards the woman standing before her making the woman fall groaning in pain.

She saw the man coming towards her too that she began to tremble in her dying state when suddenly she felt warm breeze on her face and no!..she wasnt dying anymore. She looked up weakly to see a man standing before her.

I got in just in time to see a lady pining a polythene nylon down kate’s head. I didnt waste much time and she didnt see me coming too. I hit her hard on the neck making her fall away.

Quickly, i tore it off as i called kate’s name repeatedly.

“Kate! Kate! Kate!”

I took her face in my hands as i called and slowly, her eyes began to open. I tore off the ropes binding her hands to the chair.

“Kate…Thank God you’re safe”

She was coming around now

“steve…steve..”

She cried as she broke into my arms…

“I’m sorry for all this..i shouldn’t have said all those things to you”

I apologised as i rubbed her hair..

“Dan…Dan..hes got the chip..you have to get it back”

I drew back a little to wipe her tears.

“Where is he now?” i asked and she answered by just pointing up to the door roof.
