The Secretary

Read Story: SEASON 1 EPISODE 4

I picked up the phone again the 20th time.

“yes…okay..thank you”

I was starting to hate my job now.

I am a young man but i shouldnt die working my entire life out.

I looked up from my desk because someone barged in without knocking -Tony.

“she’s arrived”

“The secretary uhn?…but why is it always a she?”

“because secretary jobs dont go with males”

“well, let her just start signing papers and show her her office”

“nah, you dont even know her name!”

“aiit,…bring her in”

I removed my goggles to have a better view of whos standing before me – shes got a good height, fine shape and lively lips and to crown it all, shes beautuful.

Sparrow moved closer to her a bit to sniff her out and as soon as he licked her legs, he withrew instantly back to his couch – he didnt like her.

“i’m kate” she offered her hand

I took it still in my seat .

“oh…right welcome pls…and you’re the secretary right?”…i was looking weird now and foolish but hey, i’m the boss here!

“yeah” Her voice sounded cool and sweet but behind the voice, i felt another thing, something dark.

“welcome again…so this is tony, he’ll put you through e’thing and also” i paused “i expect you do almost everything for me pls”.

She smiled at that and this time again,…i saw the darkness again.

“alright…i’ll be a good girl too”

I looked over to tony who stood watching all the while…

“Tony,…show her around” and with that, they both left my office.

Sparrow always liked people, its been a long time we’ve been involved with bad guys and thankGod he survived..hmmmm

I hate to remember the ugly incident.

I stood up and i went over to the window- this place gave me the garage view where charlie sat sadly like an old widow among other big expensive cars and, theres a new one in the lot . Kate’s?…fine horse shes got.

I thought about the project and the new lead Tony said he was working on – well, if his calculations are correct , we might be looking at something different and big now.
