Read Story: SEASON 1 EPISODE 8

Ukeh opened his eyes and didn’t know where he was. He sat up and saw many people tied up with him on both hands and legs locked up in a s—t. There were both young and old. Men and women and children within the age of 14 and 15 years old.

Ukeh looked around for his sister but there was no sign of Nti around. He began to loosen the ropes that was tied on his legs, he was putting so much effort and the others were just staring at him. There was a boy sitting opposite him ukeh whistled at him.

“Hey you,help me loosen these ropes please” he begged

“And then?

“I don’t think I understand your question. I am saying help me loosen these ropes please.

The boy smiled before he spoke.

“Well I don’t blame you, you are new here and that is why you still believe in escaping. Do not worry. When you have tried and failed at least 10times you will not talk of it anymore.

Ukeh was irritated by his statement. “Are you going to help me or not?”

One old man who was among them looked at Ukeh ” boy, there is no need trying to escape you wont success.

“I am not trying to escape, I just want to find my sister.

“Your sister was taken? When was this? The old man asked

“Five days ago,Ukeh replied sadly

“I am sorry about that, But I don’t think your sister is here anymore. I was brought in here four days ago and I saw the ship leave. Your sister must have being in it , because I and these persons here were the first to arrive here and we didn’t meet anyone here.”

“You are lying, I don’t believe you. My sister is still here. Ukeh struggled hard and finally the rope came out from his hand. He quickly untied his legs and pushed the cage open and runs out.

“Nti! Nti! Nti, where are you? Where are they keeping you? Nti!

Ukeh kept shouting and running around like a mad dog until a gun was fired into the air. The sound was so loud that it scared him. He fell on the ground facing it.

The white man walks up to him and placed his foot on Ukeh’s head.

“I see this one causing trouble here. Take him back and chain him to a tree in the sun.

And immediately he was dragged away by angry looking whites…
