Each day benita hoped for her old husband to return but it was the opposite, the man she married was long died, the beast she’s living with right now isn’t her husband, he finds little opportunity to beat her and the kids, sometimes lock them outside the house, benita would cry and cry forgetting only God could answer her. One thing I know for sure is God isn’t humans he doesn’t give us problems that’s bigger than us. In the book of james 1:13 “let no man say when his tempted, I am tempted by God: for God can not be tempted by evil, neither tempt he any man” whatever problem comes solution, temptation and trial of life make us to know and serve God. Victoria was only a child but was smart, smarter than her mum to know what was happening wasn’t ordinary, all those time benita would sit and cry her eyes out, Victoria would carry her brother upstairs and say our lord’s prayer with him, she believe only God that could do it, sometimes benita wonder if it wasn’t her mother that had return through Victoria, her face, her voice, her attitude was all like her mother. Love, marriage, kids have made benita forget all about God, I have come to realize that we only get closer to God when our problems become bigger than us, when there is not way out, what’s stopping us to praise him even in our happy moment? What’s stopping us from getting more closer and closer even when we have all life give? God is jealous very jealous that’s why when our attention isn’t on him, he let you feel his anger, his jealously he let all those things to happen knowing that’s the only way for you to return back to him.

Victor was like his father, always quiet but very observant, he knew things wasn’t right with mum and dad, but what could he possibly do? He was only but a child, it looks funny anytime his sister ask them to pray, but he has no other option, she seem to know what she is doing, so he always join her anytime she say they should pray. “When you are in trouble, or bondage you ain’t totally in darkness, your sub-consciousness is aware of what’s happening around you, but the zeal to deliver yourself isn’t there” that was what was happening to michael, sometimes he wonder what is wrong with him and why his hitting the woman he loves so much, and the next minutes he feels like she was the greatest mistake he had ever made.
