The native doctor did all his incantation, and called the spirit of Victoria to appear, she did appear but it was very bad for the native doctor because Victoria was praying then, Victoria was sleeping when she had a dream that someone was trying to kill her mother, she didn’t even know it was her, she got up and started to say our lord’s prayer. The native doctor on his own side has already seen the fire that surrounded her, fear grip him, he advise Anita they forget about hurting the child but Anita wouldn’t have any of it, she was determine to kill the child.

NATIVE: If you insist this girl must die, here is the knife (he point it to her) kill her yourself and know there would be consequences.

All the time she knew this baba, he has never looked this scared before she decided to let the child live.

ANITA: Ok fine, but I want a charm that would make my sister go blind, and michael to send them out of the house.

NATIVE DOCTOR: That can be possible, but killing any of them is not possible.

ANITA: When is this man going to touch me baba! I’m really tired of waiting.

NATIVE DOC: I warn you, if you should allow any man sleep with you till you finish using the charm, you will run mad.

ANITA: Ok baba, when should I come for the charm that would blind my sister?

NATIVE DOC: I will send her blindness from here, but take this (he gave her a charm) put this one under his pillow, all he will think of is to chase them out of the house.

ANITA: Thank you baba.

She collected the charm and left, through out her drive down to her house, she was sad and scared, what is it that the baba saw that made him looked that scared or is Victoria a witch she thought to herself.

She got home and lash out her anger on the poor little girl “you witch, get away from my sight before I kill you myself” Victoria being a child didn’t understand why her aunt was bitter towards her, she just cried and went to her mother upstairs.

BENITA: Vicky love, (she lap her) what happen. What happened? Who made you cry.

VICKY: Mum aunty made me cry, she said “get away from my sight before I kill you myself”
That shocked benita, why would her sister sound like that, why would she threaten to kill her child.

BENITA: You know aunty loves you right? Made she had a bad day that’s why. Forgive her ok?

VICKY: Ok mummy. (she wiped her eyes and went out) but benita didn’t stop to wonder why Anita would threaten to kill her daughter.
