Andrew’s Pov:

I heard voices downstairs so I managed to drag myself up from the bed.

I walked out of my room.

“Hey darling” I heard a familiar voice.

I quickly looked down from the stairs.

My jaw dropped in shock.

She pushed Cristine away and walked in, in her usual cat walking style.

I couldn’t even find my voice to talk to her.

Cristine stood in confusion.

She blew her bubble gum noisily and scoffed.

“Won’t you come give mommy a hug?” She snorted.

I only gulped and looked at Cristine.

Our eyes meet and we quickly looked away.

“What are you doing here?’ I managed to say as she rolled her eyes.

She walked towards me giving me a peck on the forehead.

I could see how hurt Cristine was.

I was also hurt myself.

“Sofie what do you want?” I asked sternly

She let out a scoff.

“Are you kidding me right now? You haven’t seen or spoke to me for the past one year and this is how you welcome me? I was your sweetheart remember?” She shrugged.

“Sofie there is no “us” anymore” I snapped in.

“But I still love you” She said loudly.

Cristine choked as she covered her mouth with her palms.

I could see hot tears dropped down her beautiful face.

“Cristine? Please let me explain” I rushed to her but she pushed me away.

“It’s OK!” She said and rushed upstairs.

Sofie groaned….

“Is she a new maid or something?” Sofie screamed as I gave her a disdainful look.

She just doesn’t know when to stop!

I ran along upstairs with Cristine.

When I walked into my room, she was already packing her stuffs into her handbag.

“Cristine please listen to…” I tried to speak

She sniffed.

“Listen to what? To more lies? I should have known… Men are all the same after all” She cried.

“Cristine she’s not in anyway together with…” I said

“Tell that to the birds Mr Andrew…. Get well soon!! Of course you will since your wife is here to take care of you” She added as she pushed me away and walked out.

Cristine’s Pov:

I’ve never been so heartbroken.

This is a height of embarrassment…..

Did you hear what the bi+ch said? She had the guts to ask if I was the new maid?

I just had to pull myself together…

I pushed Andrew away as I stormed out of the room.

I can’t face him right now!

I walked downstairs and met the swine eating the food I made.

I stared at her with hatred before stepping out.

She gave out a loud sigh.

“Cheap flirts looking for whose man to snatch” She said to my hearing.

I wanted to land a dirty slap on her face but I held myself.

I caused myself this whole insults.

By coming here in the first place.

I quickly brought out my car keys and hopped into my car and drove off.

Tears welled down my chubby cheeks.

Just when I thought everything was getting better….

Now this?

I tagged him the best man…

All men are whores….

Aren’t they ashamed of themselves?

I can’t believe I prepared food for the stupid lady.

My cell phone rang aloud…

It was Andrew calling.

I guess that the one hundredth time he’s calling.

I picked up the phone and switched it off.

That bastard….

I drove into my lonely crib and rushed into the house.

And as usual, I went straight to my room.

I bounced on my bed in tears with my face buried in the pillow.

Sofie’s Pov:

I belched noisily as I gulped down the glass of juice.

It’s been long I ate such a good food!

Am here to stay…

I smiled broadly as I stared around the house.

“Nothing has changed” I chuckled.

I heard Andrew roaring my name in anger.

“Sofie! Sofie!!” He screamed and I flinched.

He walked downstairs in anger.

“Hey darling” I said licking my lips seductively.

But he wasn’t even moved

“What are you here for? Get your ass outta my house” He said

I laughed loudly….

“Come on baby… Didn’t you miss me? It’s a good thing that flirt that was here earlier already left” I grinned at him.

He folded his palms in annoyance.

And before I could say another word, he landed a thunderous slap on my cheeks.

I gasped…..
