How could she be so silly not to think that there would be no other Article and now she had made a silly mistake if not the biggest mistake and she knew her dad would so angry and disappointed in his grave.
Of course, if there’s an Article 17,there would an Article 1. The question was why hadn’t she thought of that. She had been so blinded by getting Robert out of his company that she hadn’t stopped for a minute to reason.

She kept walking to the parking garage, finding it difficult to breathe with each step. She got to her car waiting for Pedro, she resulted that she would fix it. Robert must leave.

He couldn’t believe what he had transpired in his boardroom. Yes,his boardroom. His boardroom that has been taken from him by that monster who plans on taking over his company. She was planning on doing the exact thing he did to her father years ago but what he did to her father was not his fault. He had had two choices and he choose the one that benefited the company, if only Tiara knew the whole truth but it was too late now.
She had just waltz into his boardroom and had stolen everything that belonged to him.

He marched into his office,not noticing or glancing to the other man that sat in his office
“Steve, there’s going to be a vote in the next two days”,Robert started
“Vote,Sir?”
“It turns out to be that Tiara now has more percentage of shares and wants to take over my boardroom”
“That can’t be possible, Sir”
“Don’t you comprehend things? It is already happening and here you are saying it can’t be possible”
“Sorry Sir”
“I don’t need to tell me that. I want you to make sure everybody votes in my favour”
He looked at Pedro’s direction and saw the unfamiliar face.
“Steve, who is this?”,Robert questioned
“Sir,this is Pedro”
“The incompetent private investigator”,he blurted out
Pedro stood up “I think I’ll start going”
Pedro walked to the door
“I need you to work for me”,Robert said,Pedro stopped and turned around
“I can’t remember when I asked you for a job”,he continued “And I am an incompetent private investigator”,Pedro said mimicking Robert
“Pedro,just listen”,Steve intervened
Pedro nodded
“I need you to plan an assassination and make it look like an accident”
“I’m not an assassin. I’m a PI”
“Listen to me,young man,I will pay you well”
“Supposing I agree,who do you plan to assassinate?”
“A Tiara Michaels”
Pedro turned white

Tiara had called Pedro from the parking lot. Something to be done and the worst was that she had no idea of how to deal with Robert and she wouldn’t deny she was hoping on Pedro.
Robert last words played back on her ears.
“You can’t get rid of me early”.
She had to admit that the revenge was getting more complicated. Fiona was a lost course and Liza, Liza was turning into something else. How would a sixteen year old girl think of killing? What the hell does she know about death?. She’s rich, yet she isn’t happy. Whoever said money can buy happiness?. Her family that was once bound together by love is now in disarray. The more her heart she thought about it,the more her heart burned with hatred over Paul, Daniel and Robert.

It had been over seventeen minutes since she called Pedro and wondered if everything was alright; Maybe Robert has found the truth that Pedro worked for her. Okay, five minutes. If Pedro didn’t come to the parking lot in the next five minutes, she would go in.

Fiona paced around the room Joshua la!d,receiving medical attention. There were many what its racing through her mind as of that moment. What if her devil of a sister had gone through with her plans and made Joshua like his father. What if Joshua finds out about the deal she made with Tiara,would he love her less. But she did it for his sake.

Yes,she did it for Joshua’s sake but the question was,would Joshua see it the way Tiara sees it?

Joshua stirred and opened his eyes,slowly.
“Fifi…..”,his weak voice called
Fiona spun around
“Joshua!….”,she went to hug him “You’re alive!”
“Couldn’t leave you and our child”,Joshua said managing a weak smile
“That would be unfair”,she smiled
“Looks like I made it in time for the court”
Her smile disappeared
“There won’t be a case”
Shocked, he asked “Why?”
“I withdrew……”
“From testifying?”,he interrupted
She nodded
“Why”
“She threatened me. She…..”
“And you succumbed?”

Pieces started falling into places. His father had an accident that led him to end up in the hospital because Tiara had planned everything perfectly. Now he understood it wasn’t in Tiara’s plan to kill his father or his dad would have died in that accident. The thing was,she knew after the accident that Paul would be taken to the hospital on emergency and he was sure she must have planted someone to watch Paul closely. She finished his father at the hospital.

Fiona was right, Tiara wanted to make him end up like his father. It had been her plan all along. She planned the accident because she knew Fiona would succumb.

Things were beginning to fall into place- Many things
“Fiona,who owns the paper company?”,Joshua asked
“What does that have to do with the recent happenings?”
“Fifi…..”
“It belongs to Tiara,so I’ve learnt”
Now,he had solved the puzzle, he stood up and Fiona followed him.
“Joshua, tell me,what’s wrong?”
“Why did she buy the paper company?”
“She said it was for profit. You’re starting to freak me out”
“Why put her interest on a paper company when she could go into a more profitable business of her choice with the kind of money she has”
Fiona began thinking hard and both began pacing
“Elliott sold the paper company on distress”
Joshua turned to look at her
“What do you mean?”
“She burned his house and threatened to burn his rented apartment with his wife and child in it”
“Tiara seem to threaten a lot”
“Tiara’s changed”
“How did Tiara know that my father’s company and Elliott’s paper company are connected?”
“My dad left a box full of evidence but I don’t recall seeing your father’s company and Elliott’s paper company’s connection. Could it be coincidence that Tiara bought the paper company?”
“Tiara wouldn’t threaten to buy a paper company on a mere coincidence and besides, why do you think Tiara planted you in that paper company to manage it?”
“Tiara sU-Cks at that and……..”
Sense dawned on her
She planted me there because she knew we would meet someday”

Pedro with his stunning gait moved past tons of cars to the one Tiara sat in,impatiently waiting for him.

Seeing that gait,a gait she would recognize among crowds of people. She opened the door,stepped out and ran to hug him. She never knew the cause for the rush of those emotions but intended to find out soon.

He held her tenderly like an egg that would break if held tightly
They slowly broke from hug as he stroke her hair and used another finger to trace the lines of her beautiful face. He thought he saw her smile.
Still stroking her hair,he asked “How are you?”
“Wish I could say I’m fine”
“The meeting didn’t go well,did it?”
She narrated everything that happened in the boardroom
“I don’t know what to do, Pedro. Tell me,Pedro, tell me what to do”
He thought for sometime and said “There’s the plan……..”
